Patriot Act Extension Round 5

Currently there are nine different bills introduced in Congress, three in the House and six in the Senate, that would extend the provisions of the Patriot Act for one to three years. Four of the Senate bills are already out of committee and scheduled for a vote on the General Calendar. One that sees much press but has no co-sponsors is Sen. Patrick Leahy’s (D-Vt.) S. 193: USA PATRIOT Act Sunset Extension Act of 2011, and is a likely vehicle for furthering the dictates of the original Patriot Act.

it has begun

I was so naive to believe, this time around, things were going to be different for Ron Paul. Time magazine released their 100 most influential people edition today. The day that the voting ended Dr. Paul was number 11 on the top 100 list. When I received time magazine this morning, I was really naive in the fact that I opened up the magazine quickly and very excited to see Dr. Paul finally get the recognition he deserves. I was quickly struck by the harsh realization that Dr. Paul was not number 11 out of the 100. It turns out that he didn't even qualify in the top 100. Ron Paul is not mentioned in the magazine at all. Yet Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, Donald Trump, Paul Ryan, John Bohener,Michele Bachmman, and Newt Gingrich all made the list. Some of these characters didn't even make the Top 250 when the voting ended. This is going to continue to progress through out the 2012 campaign. That is of course if Dr. Paul runs.
I thought this might happened so I save the results, clearly Dr. Paul was left out.

Each betrayal hurts, but one's skin

grows tougher over time.

Make them pay!!

Take all them postage paid subscription inserts and write Pon Paul on them and mail them out and then go to the library to collect all that they have and 3rd tape them to a brick.

Read John Dvorak's opinions about these lists

He came from the publishing business. These lists are typically assembled by an internal committee, people are chosen randomly, they throw in a controversial person or two, then they write a couple of lines to support their decisions. These "most influential" lists are pure garbage.

Fortunately you write better & more honest than Time Magazine.

Please work your talent to the advantage of Dr Ron Paul. Those that can tell a better story, such as you, will prevail.

Lamenting is all well & helpful to release sentiment.

Other actions are more persuasive.
