Jesse Ventura to the Daily Paul - Thanks Yo G Mama!

Hey friends, check this out! Last week DPer Yo G Mama went to a Jesse Ventura book signing in LA check out what he sent me:

The book is 63 Documents the Government Doesn't Want You to Read. Makes a great companion to Dr. Paul's Liberty Defined.

Update! Ventura dedicated the book to Ron Paul!

To Ron Paul, the only federal elected official who will stand up for America on the congressional floor

Awesome, friend! Thanks so much. Very interesting, and very much looking forward to reading it.

If you have something to send to me at the Daily Paul (I love mail) the address can be found on the dailypaul.com/donate page. And if you have an Amazon purchase to make, I'll get a little tip if you use one of the above links.

Many thanks to this great community, and have a great weekend.

THIS IS URGENT!

THANX DP FRIENDS!

PS... HE IS NEEDED FOR SPECIAL INTRODUCTION THAT NIGHT!! HINT! HINT!

It only made sense that since Jesse dedicated his book to RP...

that the Daily Paul should also have the privilege of having Jesse dedicate one of his books to the DP! It happened--yee haw!!

Thanks Yo G.

Nice!! This should be a most interesting read, and kudos to

Jesse for his courage in writing it. He is a very smart guy.

Debbie

That photo looks really strange. Blurry text but not signature?

Is the title of the book intentionally blurry like an old photocopy?

Michael Nystrom's picture

Yes, you're right

The title is intentionally blurry.

In fact, much of the book is like that. He took a lot of documents and reproduced them exactly as they were, from originals. So some of the chapters have that same look - including redacted parts!

It is really an interesting reference piece. Take a look at a copy the next time you're near a bookstore (for as long as bookstores last).

The book has 5 sections:

1. Our scandalous Postwar History (lots about the CIA + 11 documents.)
2. Government, Military and Corporate Secrets (Drug running, Iraq war, FEMA camps, etc. + 20 docs.)
3. Shady White Houses (Nixon featured heavily + 11 docs.)
4. 9/11 (7 docs)
5. The War on Terror (14 docs)

Hey! And I just noticed, he dedicates the book to Ron Paul!

Yes yes

he keeps bringing up that he dedicated it to Ron. His main reason he says is because he was the only one who stood up and supported Wikileaks with his awesome "when truth becomes treason.." line

Fantastic!

I've been hearing such mixed commentary about Jesse Ventura lately. Seems he's a guy people love to hate or hate to love... As someone living in Minnesota, I have a deep fondness for the guy. Despite what many naysayers claim, Jesse left office with nearly a 70% approval rating! Almost unheard of. This book is yet another bit of proof that he's a man on integrity... love it.

"Almost unheard of "? I haven't heard of ANY!

There is only one person who EVER left office, whom I would have expected to probably have had a higher approval rating when he left, than when Ron Paul sought to move from the Congress, and ran instead in the US Senate race in 1984, and lost that one then.

"In his House farewell address, Paul said, "Special interests have replaced the concern that the Founders had for general welfare. Vote trading is seen as good politics. The errand-boy mentality is ordinary, the defender of liberty is seen as bizarre. It's difficult for one who loves true liberty and utterly detests the power of the state to come to Washington for a period of time and not leave a true cynic."
