I posted this video mainly to point out a very important aspect that never seems to get addressed and that is, how different police interpret what the law is and "when the law should be applied".
In the video link below, Sheriff Arpaio says, "When laws are passed, they should be enforced and that's what I do". Doesn't that sound a lot like, "Don't blame me, I'm just doing my job"?
Unfortunately, I believe that may be the mentality of most of our police today. He may be correct about saying, "if you (the people) don't like the laws, change them," but that's way easier said than done and that doesn't help anyone sitting in jail who's a victim of unjust laws.
I wish he would revaluate that thought because there are many, many laws, that should never even be considered to be upheld and I wish all of our police understood that difference that is illustrated in this video.
