Even if BO was born in Hawaii, he is still INELIGIBLE! In the Constitution is states you
only have to be a citizen of the United States and the Age of twenty five Years to be
a U.S. Congressman (art.1 sec.2). The Constitution also states that you only have to
be a citizen of the United States and the Age of thirty Years to be a U.S.Senator
(Art 1 Sec.3). The big one here is the President of the united States, it states that
you are held up to a higher standard (Art.2 Sec.1), IT SAYS YOU MUST BE A NATURAL
BORN CITIZEN, “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United
States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office
of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have
attained to the Age of thirty-five Years,” which BO IS NOT! A natural born citizen is
one who is born of two citizens of the U.S. You have to know what it meant to be a
Natural Born Citizen at the time of the Constitution and look to the Law of Nations.
Barack Obama even admits in his book, THE AUDACITY OF HOPE, “He was born
in Hawaii 45 years ago of a Kenyan father and an American mother” If you want to

Even the long form "Birth Certificate" is suspect.
On the White House website they have the long form "Birth Certificate" in a PDF file and also have copies of the letters of Obama or his representative asking for the certificate and the letter of the Hawaiian official transmitting the two copies to Obama.

Since the Hawaiian official in their transmittal letter says the two copies are enclosed, the logical conclusion is that they are hard copies, not electronic copies. So it would be impossible to see electronic evidence that they were photo shopped even if they were photo shopped in Hawaii.
But the PDF file of the certificate that is on the White House website can be downloaded and analyzed and it clearly is made up of layers which can be undone to prove without question it is photo shopped. This had to happen at the White House since they received hard copies from Hawaii as evidenced by the transmittal letter.

Okay, I was never a birther, I thought they were crazies, racists, or something else.
Then I saw all the evidence and became a convert for a few hours.
But then I found this. If what this guy is saying is true (in the first part of the video... not the second part), then the certificate might actually be real all along:

This is plausible:
They took the actual certificate and photocopied it onto the patterned paper. On the photocopy, the Alvin dude then stamped a few things on the bottom of the photocopy and signed it - that's why these look lighter than the rest of the photocopy. This also explains why the background of the actual certificate is blurrier than the rest of the document.
Then, Alvin took the photocopy and scanned it - but not as an image - he scanned it using OCR. This would get rid of the aliasing and the colour problems as the computer is correcting the words.
So in a way, the above video is actually proves the case that the certificate is REAL and not a fake.
Now, you could argue, why did this Alvin idiot put birth certificate on the patterned paper for? Good question. I don't know. The original birth certificate obviously didn't have this patterned background.
Also, if OCR was used, why are there many parts of the document that SHOULD have also been transcribed but weren't? The "1" in "10641" should have been transcribed. There are also several marks, x's, and numbers that were never transcribed either, but probably should have been. There is a clear separation, and this *is* suspicious.
I think the best way to answer these questions is to take the Associated Press scan of certificate and apply OCR (using all sorts of programs) to the AP scan to see what comes out - let's see if we can find a match. If we can, it's legit. If we can't - well, you decide.
I am only interested in the truth. If this is legit, then it's legit - end of discussion. Let's move on.

I never was a birther because I know that before you can hold a US SENATE seat you have to have been born a U.S. citizen.
I always assumed he must have had to jump through the hoops necessary just to run for that office.

You don't need to be born a US citizen to be a Senator.
The requirement for Senator is "Citizen", not "Natural Born Citizen". A naturalized citizen is qualified to be a Senator. A citizen that gets his citizenship by operation of Congressional Statute is qualified to be a Senator.
All "Natural Born Citizens" are "Citizens" but not all "Citizens" are "Natural Born Citizens". It is only President and Vice President who must be "Natural Born Citizens".
Interesting that in the 2008 election, Obama was not qualified because he had a non-citizen father, and McCain was not qualified because he was born on the soil of Panama, not on US soil. Two frauds, and they both knew it but ran anyway. I suppose that when one of the main qualifications for being a politician is being an effective liar, the both demonstrated their effectiveness from the get go.

I generally have a different approach outside of this forum where people are not as up to speed as the DP regulars.
I just show them the real cause of currency inflation. I explain that U.S. Government essentially orders people to work for free when the Federal Reserve simply gives U.S. Government more currency to pass out, thereby essentially copying the Fed Notes that average Joe has in his wallet and cutting their value down significantly.
If they understand all that, then I talk about silver being money. I was in Blockbuster today and showed the clerk that a silver dime which looks just like the fakes today would trade for a gallon of gasoline. He was stunned by my point as we stared across the street at the 3.99 a gallon gas station marque!
To think that the little tiny silver dime in my hand would trade for 1 gallon of gas?

The law of nations was used when women were essentially chattel, Plus was dominated by the views xenophobic, racist european nations who wanted citizenship by blood.
British common law, and more importantly, the 14th amendment, and subsequent Supreme court decisions, disagree with the law of nations. It is much more likely the founders were following the principles of English common law.
The Birther thing has always been a canard, and now it is exposed as such.

The constitution is not followed. We can't say all other issues are mute. The question is, what are the egregious problems. Whether natural born citizen means Born here, or having a father that is a citizen, is hardly a major issue. I'd say the power of the president to commit forces to war is a much bigger fish.

The Constitution only seems to work for the people who can afford good lawyers. The collective will of Americans has never demanded it's strict enforcement, so the government senses no obligation to abide by it. Some people point to the New Deal, or maybe the Civil War, as though they were the first time the government violated the Constitution in a big way. Yet if you check the record, it's been going on since the beginning. We need leaders who are even more principled than the founders if we want strict enforcement of the Constitution.

If it was that easy to release his birth cert., why wasn't this done long ago, and why did his administration stone wall the request and spend millions to divert the release? Still fishy smelling. But hey, but look at reality now. They can implode building in down town Manhattan in broad daylight and get away with it, I'm sure a little document isn't a big task for our mighty CIA to produce. Just imagine how many fake sets of identity documents they've done over the years for covert operators. They have a whole department in the Pentagon/CIA devoted to "document procurment". They've probably got this issue sealed up airtight - unless they miss an obvious point of info (i.e. paper source/dating/ink/names/dates) that someone stumbles upon that blows their plan up. It's really not the big issue facing us anyway, just another G'ment hoodwink.

The 14th amendment did not change the definition of "Natural Born Citizen" and the authors of it are on record of having said this. The 14th amendment defined "citizenship" not "natural born citizenship".
