Ron says: Here's What I Don't Want To Do For You
Submitted by Yvonne Kelly on Mon, 08/27/2007 - 08:59I was proud to be part of the cheering crowd of 1700 that packed the Texas City Conv. Ctr. for Ron's annual birthday bash yesterday. It's hard to verbally convey the level of excitement and all the emotions that accompanied this event. I'll post a couple of links to Lew Rockwell's blog which will provide more info about his speech and "color" about the gathering. Stay tuned for the YouTube video.
Needless to say, Ron's speech drew so many loud, shouting, whooping, cheering standing O's that it was impossible to count. One thing that struck me was this this particular part:
Ron reminded us that other candidates say "This is what I can do for you". He said he has a different approach, the opposite. He stated:
"Here's what I don't want to do for you:
I don't want to run your lives,
I don't want to run the economy
I don't want to police the world"
Wowee! That brought the house down!
So I started thinking about all the other things Ron DOESN'T WANT TO DO FOR US and I ask for your help in expanding the list:
Ron doesn't want to collect our taxes.
Ron doesn't want to draft us or our children to fight & die to expand the "empire".
Ron doesn't want to spy on us, or our e-mail & phone calls.
Ron doesn't want to ID chip us or our animals.
Ron doesn't want to devalue our money.
Ron doesn't want to take away our vitamins, supplements & our right to the health care of our choice.
Come on and help add to the list everyone......
It also noteworthy that Lew Rockwell got a noisy, well-deserved standing O too. He and Ron have been working and fighting this battle together for >35 years ! Please check out his "breaking news blog" frequently and for sure go to these entries about the BBQ bash:

Indeed, Lew is correct again.....The Ron Paul Birthday Bash Was Stupendous. I hope that every supporter on this list and in the world will have the opportunity to hear Ron in person. Your life may change forever.

Getting government off our backs!
Ron doesn't want to cause our jobs to go overseas.
Ron doesn't want to spy on our mail.
Ron doesn't want to let the United Nations tell us what we can do.
Ron doesn't want to let the federal government tell us how to educate our children.
Ron doesn't want to control our thoughts.
Ron doesn't want to control our beliefs.
Ron doesn't want to turn us into slaves.
Ron doesn't want to regulate the internet.
