the new years eve bomb a let down? Huckabee's one and only money bomb raised $75,000 and we did over $500,000 I think!

I was doing a one man sign wave in Santiago and converted an american pilot - he took some slim jims with him to take back to his crew in the hotel, then back stateside.....he´d heard of Ron Paul and was amazed to find a Ron Paul Revere in South America trying to get Dr. Paul electected.....

been busy here too...
was at the Jacksonville Landing for the blimp ON MY BIRTHDAY! and was handing out slim jims...tons of RP support there.
a lady walks in with her family...stops....i say hello...hand her a slim jim....she was pleasant and smiled...and asked "are you guys a cult or something?" i laughed and said "no, but i could sell you some incense if it would make you vote better". she appreciated the retort... (there were beers involved on both sides)
anyway...after some qs and as she said she'd check him out....as her hubby and teenagers lingered....
it was a blast!

Went canvassing in neighboring South Carolina and found 10 new Ron Paul supporters. Took four hours. Well worth it.

Converted an independent at the Birmingham airport, a former trancredo supporter on the plane, handed out slim jims and walked around with my ron paul sign for 3 hours at the airport in Dallas, now headed for the American embassy with my yard sign and slim jims....

Was calling a reservation agent confirming my flight tomorrow......asked her if it was all right to distribute Ron Paul slim jims during my layover...........she didn't know who Ron Paul was........45 minutes later, she sounds like she is pretty much on our side.....she'll be googling him.......

It is becoming easier....
The more people I talk to, the easier it is becoming for me to get my spill out....I've also noticed that more peopled have heard of him now than a month ago so it is easy to approach.....
Key: Find out what they are passionate about and stick with that subject, don't go all over the place - if they are a single issue voter, don't confuse them with other issues...
Example: I sold this lady on the war, I didn't complicate things with RP's position on guns or abortion - something she may or may not agree with.....
I just spoke about the message, - but also did a lot of LISTENING to see what was important to her, when I found out what it was, I just stayed on that topic.
Becoming easier to convert...
You are so right, ask what is important, LISTEN, and then offer the Ron Paul stance. Not necessary to mention everything!
Also, we all know about so much corruption, but we should NOT go there. Most people will get lost and not believe it anyway.
Stay on message at all times! My Ron Paul yard sign went beautifully with my Christmas Decorations! Many people comment about my decorations, just a new addition this year!

I'm taking a former Huckabee supporter
to our caucus on Feb. 5th in MN to help vote for Ron Paul. I also have two more former Huckabee supporters going to their caucus to vote for Ron Paul and I think I might have a Dem crossover to bring with me to my caucus. I'm going to round up a few more before Feb. 5th!! It is so easy when they hear the message!!
