Michiganders Needed ASAP: Oakland

0 votes

I'm the assistant coordinator for Oakland County. We're creating a solid organizational hierarchy immediately. This should have been done months ago, but it wasn't, so let's get it done now.

There are 25 townships in the county. We want one leader in charge of each township.
There are 496 precincts spread throughout the townships. Each of them will have a leader too.

That means we need 521 people to step up.

That sounds like a lot, but it's nothing. If we can't muster 521 committed patriots, we've already lost. I might as well kick back and enjoy Christmas.

We don't want to have to draft people, so let's hear it: Who's volunteering?

Thanks again, Matt

In the past week, we've tripled our manpower and everyone knows exactly what their responsibilities are, thanks to our hierarchy.

It's possible to be organized without being authoritarian. Now please stop working against me and focus on your own county.

Great Job!

Jeff. Keep the hard work and we will win.

Hierarchy is not what we need

Hey guys this is Matt Letten, the Assistant coordinator for Livingston county. Our time is short. I know the official campaign directives are to set all these things up. The fact is we have until january 15th. Hierarchy can create slowness. We will have tons of time after the 15th to set up our official detailed campaign heirarchy which will be necessary for the upcoming year.

Right now we just need to focus on getting to as many door steps as we can in whatever way possible.

Keep up the work guys!

Getting votes and getting

Getting votes and getting people to volunteer are two different things. I wouldn't say it's impossible to get 521 people to volunteer in Oakland County but it's pretty close. Most people who will be voting for Ron Paul will only do one thing to help him win and that will be voting for him. They will never do a sign wave, never do any canvassing, never come to a meeting, etc. Get as many people as you can to volunteer but don't expect 521 from one county.

Thanks...

for your negativity, Phil. Couldn't have done it without you.

You're wrong, btw. You can't just create a meetup, schedule a couple sign wavings and expect much turnout, but that isn't what we're doing. We have leads on individuals and we're asking them point-blank to assume simple, specific roles for the next three weeks.Their first job is to reach out and find more people. We'll have our 500 in less than a week and within a week of that, we'll have each of the 500 will have several assistants.

If I'm wrong, we have no chance of communicating Dr. Paul's message to that portion of the 1.2 million people in our county that might be receptive to it.

I believe in you Jeff

Don't let self-limiting thought hold you back.

Sounds like you have a plan to get it done!

Volunteers

I think the campaign can get you a list of people who contributed. I have a guy here I turned on to RP and he donated on Nov5th. Other than that he had no interaction with the campaign or meetups. Then out of the blue the local meetup called him.

Sorry I could not help but I am in Texas.
