Yeah. One million from

10 of his banker buddies. That won't cut it in the long run.

I wonder how much money he

I wonder how much money he kept from the 2002 Winter Olympic$!

I pledged

$50,000 and so did my wife. Good luck collecting.

I belive its all pleged ...he

I belive its all pleged ...he does not have cash in hand! There is a difference!

Reminder

It's the votes that count! RP has more contributors, thus more votes! Ron Paul 2012!

Mark Your Calendars

When the next FEC reports come out, I'll bet the maximum contribution that Ron Paul raised his money from more voters by far.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

Another thing I would like to know is

why the hell is this count so low on

http://www.ronpaulvoterbomb.com/

????

Just the member count on this site alone should have had that thing at 30k+ in a day or 2.

I do not buy this

not if it was a telethon type event like they claim.

They mention only 400 watching, I will make a retardedly high guess of 100 people manning the phone banks. That means each one would have to to pull in 100k, if you assume even 50 dollars for the average donor that is a lot for most people. Then it would still be, 2000 caller each. Thats impossible. Even if you could manage 1 min per call it is simply impossible. Lets assume 2 mins a call, thats very short call to pass along credit information. and assume a 10 hour event.that is 300 calls per person at best. Which is less than one third of the necessary calls.

So either this is a terrible fabrication or there were some VERY large donations.

But $9 Million was for a PERSONALITY!

Mitt can raise money, of course, but can he raise support and "enthusiasm" when the guys looks like a stand-up in a J.C. Penney store? I don't think so.

I love this one

I think of it every time romney is mentioned:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-qBHJuhnKg

And we raised 10.7 million in two days in 2007

The difference was: one was grassroots, the other was Mitt's personal millionaire friends calling other wealthy businessmen by phone. If Mitt's wealthy donors all gave the maximum they could, it only took about 2200 couples to come up with that $10mil. Compare to the tens of thousands who came through in 2007 with $32 million.

Man I dislike Mitt He is such

Man I dislike Mitt

He is such a used car salesman funded by wall street.

Can someone please find the

Can someone please find the Romney donor versus the Paul donor lists. I'm not sure when this info gets released. I can't stand Romney! !!! RP campaign better smear these big government wackjobs, its time to play political hardball this time around!!!!

Got the 2008 lists only

From OpenSecrets.org, these are the top contributors to Ron's 2008 campaign:

Google Inc $52,801
Microsoft Corp $47,923
US Postal Service $26,591

Here are Romney's largest contributors (besides himself)

Goldman Sachs $234,275
Citigroup Inc $178,200
Merrill Lynch $173,025
Morgan Stanley $170,350
Lehman Brothers $144,100
UBS AG $123,850
Bain Capital $123,150
Bain & Co $121,475
Marriott International $121,150
Kirkland & Ellis $109,400
Compuware Corp $103,550
Credit Suisse Group $102,600

Wachovia Corp $77,200

I believe these are contributions made by individuals only. That is; individuals working for Goldman Sachs donated a combined total of 234K$ to Mittens. But candidates generally collect even more loot through PACs that don't have those pesky contribution limits.

Money makes the presidency go 'round

He's got one heck of a good start, that Mitty guy.

Can we outgun him?

was it just 400 donors? Or

was it just 400 donors? Or did I misread the article? Maybe Ron should flex his donor abilities?

Is it possible for us to

Is it possible for us to raise $20 million in one day? Do we have enough people? Enough big donors lined up?

roughly it would be 200,000

roughly it would be 200,000 supporters all giving 100 dollars each. Or 100,000 supporters giving 200k. OR 20 supporters giving 1 mil each.

Maybe he can appeal to the people and the grassroots more across the country by not being with the "big" establishment money.

Or 20,000 people giving

Or 20,000 people giving $1000. We CAN do it!

Or a multitude of

Or a multitude of combinations thereof.

Willard's phone bank volunteers paid their own way to LV!?

The article says Willard's phone bank volunteers paid their own way to Las Vegas, where they raised the 10 mil.

What?! There are people who actually "Believe in Romney" so much as to pay their own way to Vegas for phone banking?

I don't accept this as the truth! I simply don't!

"Cowards & idiots can come along for the ride but they gotta sit in the back seat!"

Then you fail to realize...

1) How strongly Willard has the Mormon vote locked (not the thinking Mormons mind you, just the who fit into the statement, Mormons:Mitt :: Evangelicals:Huck), 2) how many Mormons are quite wealthy, and 3) How Mormons dominate Las Vegas (not to mention Utah, Arizona, and SoCal).

Jon Huntsman Jr's father

Jon Huntsman Sr. and Mitt romney have the same Great great grandfatgher [Perley P Pratt] And Jon Huntsman Sr's wifes maiden name is Haight. Look up [Hector C. Haight] If you trace her line back on the inetnet there is a gap in information [a dead spot] that keeps you from finding Hector. All these people go back to the founders of Mormanism and their families history is pretty sketchy. If you look through their family lines most of them who get into office are Democrats. I do not trust this family at all. Glenn beck had Jon Huntsman Sr on his show and made the guy seem like he was christ or something. Might want to read up on this families history folks its all there.

wealthy doners....

Romney cannot win because while he has a few wealthy doners to give him a ton of cash; each wealthy doner still can only cast one vote.

We have many MANY MORE less wealthy folks so dollar for dollar, WE WIN in the cost per vote category!!!

You said it twice. It's "donor", not "doner" as in the...

Mmmmm. Doner.

Paul's million to the Mitt's ten million, Apples vs. Oranges

The ten million raised by NWO puppet Mitt Romney is very different than the million raised by Ron Paul in his latest "moneybomb". The ten million or so raised by Mitt will, like all of his campaign funding, go only toward showing voters how he is different(?) from the likes of Gingrich, Palin, Pawlenty, and the other vile clowns associated with the Stupid Party and the neocon movement. Heck, after the Obamacare fiasco during the first half of O's first term, it may be difficult for him to show voters how HIS healthcare plan (in the Taxachussetts People's Republic) differs substantially from Obama's national mess! The million or so raised by Ron Paul can, and will, be used to spread ideas of how liberty and private property will improve everyone's lives (which is not to say that the 2012 Presidential campaign of our hero shouldn't avail itself of media and PR experts to an extent that thus far we hadn't done before).

An enormous amount of money goes in these campaigns merely trying to distinguish one candidate from the others. Ron Paul doesn't have this problem, and can be expected to get the message out in a tighter, more focused, and more straightforward manner!

Gosh, a real man of the people. We can count on this guy to put the Federal Reserve in their place! Or is it "keep them there"? The 2012 advance auction of stolen property begins here. I can smell the bailouts already.
