needs to come right out and say "I will support Ron Paul in the primaries."

while that is true, it would seem that perhaps
he would be better served as Attorney General! CAN YOU IMAGINE THE CORRUPTION HE WOULD GO AFTER???

Don't think he could do the show
I recall that Pete Schiff wasn't able to do some TV spots while he was running his campaign. Maybe the same rules don't apply.. but I'm sure there's a law (or 3) against it.
As for your "implications" question... I think it would imply sheer awesomeness. ;) Except that maybe the Judge helps RP more in his current role at this point.
