It sounds inevitable, but. . .

what about miracles? Anyone believe in those anymore? What about the magic that can change a human mind or heart? I see a lot of folks on this site swing wildly from one opinion to another depending on whether the news is presumed to be "good" or "bad" for our hero. Then they post comments reflecting their mood, which can be over the top happy, to the point of excess, with "stick this in your face" words for our "enemies"; or down-in-the-dumps depression and a sense of defeat.

My suggestion is only that people consider emulating Dr. Paul's public enthusiasm and consistent good-natured outlook. He doesn't swing from anger to euphoria, as he gets attacked or supported by interviewers, bloggers or whoever crosses his path. Privately, I'm sure he struggles with his emotions too. But he wears his brave face, his humble face for the world, so we don't lose faith in him.

Why not believe that good things will happen? We have already witnessed many victories with this movement to wake others up to what is happening in this nation. Dr. Pauls' message woke all of us up at some point in time. Many more have joined us since then. The numbers who will wake up in the next seventeen months may end up being awesome and overwhelming. No one can predict future outcomes, so why try? The mind loves to analyze to death every new circumstance; only the heart is capable of faith in the miracle of "unlikely" good events coming true.

Have faith!

Disagree

I know that if Dr. Paul is the Republican nominee for the general election, he will be able to garner many Democrat votes that do not like where Obama has taken their party....they will be called Paul Democrats just like the Reagan Democrats left Jimmy Carter.

It is true there are many on the government dole, but I also believe that there are many that want to be working a good job rather than dependent on the government. This is a key issue Ron Paul must hammer home...free market economics and eliminating government interference in the market will allow jobs to come back into this country like never before. Good private sector jobs too, not government jobs that will pull the nation down further. Reagan ran a great ad campaign "Morning in America" which showed dawn of a new day in America and the working class going to work in the morning...one of the best presidential ad campaigns in U.S. history. In a failing economy, a pledge to the people that he will do all he can to bring jobs back into this country and getting people to believe that his economic plan is the key to making that happen will earn Dr. Paul the presidency. Economics...Dr. Paul's strength and Obama's Achilles heel....it must be exploited.

And what about the Independent voters? I think Ron Paul will receive more independent votes than Obama since many those calling themselves "Independent" are part of the real Tea Party movement, not the neo-cons calling themselves a part of this movement such as "The Tea Party Nation" who dis Ron Paul.

Many Democrats are against Corporatism...since Obama is in bed with the corporations, he will lose many supporters from his own party if they are remotely aware.

Obama has the media and lots of money to steer the electorate with lies and propaganda, we need to continue to do what we Paulers do best educate, wake-up the sheep, raise money from the grassroots, and use every means that is available to us to campaign for Dr. Paul.

The biggest hurdle for Dr. Paul is getting past the primaries, if he can do that then we will be the next POTUS.
Dr. Walt Williams will be eating his words when the people elect President Paul.

Seen this before, posted a while ago and must inform you, that's this is clearly speculation and cannot account for the black, union, liberals, and college educated women, plus the rest that support Ron Paul.

On the bright side if...

Obombya wins the next presidency, he will preside over his failed policies, a bankrupted country, a people in open revolt, global wars, zionist traitors in the government, and the overwhelming fear of the people dragging him out of the oval office.........Ron, on the otherhand, could bring civility, maturity, and leadership to the country to try and get us out of the mess that was "none of his doing."

this is highly disturbing . . .

but it's hard to fault the logic.

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Unforunately

He makes many great points. Plus he now has his internet czar to delete anything on the web negative of him that he doesn't want there.

I'd like to think enough people are waking up but then I go to school and work and talk with people and I see very quickly that it's not enough. I'm not going to stop campaigning or educating and working towards our ideas but I think this guy is right.

... predicts that Obama can not lose the 2012 election.

Because it is fixed...unless somehow, someone can stop the corruption that occurs with the voting machines, etc.

And IF we get the right people as delegates.

Obama and his handlers wouldn't know what hit them.

That doesn't even sound like

That doesn't even sound like him writing this. Someone needs to research this article.

Ya. He is right unless

Ya. He is right unless somehow we can reach those "lower class" people and explain freedom. If 47% are getting money from the government and have no clue that it will not continue forever, then we have no chance. The only hope is that they do not vote, and freedom-lovers, do, and that the votes are counted correctly. When and if the money stops, they may begin to understand. Until then.....

I think the only way to reach the "dependent class" people is

THIS: We need to make them understand that Big Daddy Government is completely BROKE. The Government lied about being able to take care of you. The gravy train has run off the rails and the safety net is in shreds. They had better get their act together before the shit hits the fan. Say it nicer than this, but that is the basic message. Tell them, you think it is bad now? It is going to get worse. Scare the crap out of them.

We need to explain that Ron Paul is the only candidate that understands WHY this is going to happen (at its root, moral corruption)and WHAT it will take to lead us out of the wilderness. Dr. Paul is not corrupt or power hungry and can be trusted to do what is right for America. He can lead us back to our core principles that made America great: freedom, self-reliance, honesty, hard work, and an economy based on free markets and sound money.

will REALLY have to haul butt this time around. I keep remembering it only took 3% of the people in the original revolution!!
