If Ron Paul wins the Republican presidential nomination in 2012 after a losing bid in 2008, he wouldn't be the first candidate to do so. Indeed, the GOP's last nominee, John McCain, only won the party's nomination in 2008 after losing it to Bush in 2000. Even Ronald Reagan lost his 1976 bid for the party's nomination before winning it in 1980. But does Ron Paul have a real shot at winning this time around? Absolutely.
