Gallup: Ron Paul at 10% Nationwide! (12% if Palin doesn't run)

Plus he is the only one that can beat Obama.

"Further evidence that Paul's support generally lies outside the Republican mainstream is that Republican-leaning independents are twice as likely to support him as are those who identify outright as Republicans."

The fact that they put these

The fact that they put these people into a national campaign when they haven't declared is but another slap into the face of the process in which America picks it's presidents.

Lies and Statistics

These polls are pure bunk. The elite media is doing everything is can to debunk the front runner: Dr. Paul.

CNN calls Republican field "uninspiring".

While pimping Sarah Palin as the one who will "shake" things up.

"The lineup of current and likely GOP presidential candidates includes former governors, business executives, an ambassador and past and present congressional lawmakers. But people are looking for that perfect profile for a candidate to take on President Obama, which may be akin to trying to find a unicorn.

It doesn't exist."

Guess who they call frontrunner...Muppet Romney. Idiots.

I forget who it is but

I forget who it was but someone made a comment some time back that they were going to use Palin as a way to push Dr.Paul down and disrupt his momentum. I believe that to be correct.

She's nothing more than a distraction.

The Key to Ron Paul GOP Victory is to get Independents and

Democrats who love Ron Paul to Re-register Republican. If that can happen, then I believe Ron Paul has a good chance to take the GOP primary. But remember, delegates is what counts. We need lots of delegates to take over the country, state and the National...

Its all about delegates, delegates and delegates...

McCain was in 3rd Place This Time in 2007

On page 3 of that article, it talks about John McCain being in 3rd place from February 2007 to the October 2007 release of that article. So, the third place contender went on to win the Primary. We need to rally the independents to register Republican.

The elephant (Ron Paul) in

The elephant (Ron Paul) in the room keeps getting bigger and bigger.

The Republican base is almost

The Republican base is almost wholly about identity politics. And it doesn't have to be things like how someone looks (Palin), war record (McCain), etc. Simply BEING Republican is enough.

I think the important part of this poll is this sentence:

"Further evidence that Paul's support generally lies outside the Republican mainstream is that Republican-leaning independents are twice as likely to support him as are those who identify outright as Republicans. Romney and Palin lead among the larger group of Republican identifiers."

Dr. Paul brings in the independents, disaffected Democrats, and the youth vote. Which is why it will be easier to win the Presidential election, than to win the Republican nomination.

I don't mean to offend any Mormons here...

...but I've always grown up under the impression that Christians viewed Mormonism as a cult and the Scientology of it's day. This leaves me a bit surprised by the religious right's support for Romney or at least I find it a bit odd.

most are willing to follow instead of think.

Romney on the last go-around was a prime example. Between Hannity, Limbaugh and the neo-cohorts; many just assumed Romney was a good candidate. Most Christians take the bible as their reference for their faith, and Limbaugh/Hannity types for their politics. I personally can't imagine a church service where someone would call any of these guys hypocrites - it's similar to being critical of the Israeli government's actions over the year - it's off the table.

I personally know Mormons that are disgusted by Romney's crawling in bed w/ big government, and Dr. Paul is refreshing on this matter. Mormons are very fearful of government intervention into their church practices, beliefs.

Peace, Freedom and Prosperity. Not War, Welfare and Bankruptcy.

Most evangelical Christians...

are in need of a Jim Rutz, Open Church revelation. I came to the 'freedom movement in Christianity' through Jim Rutz, and this was long before I was turned on to Ron Paul.(2002) Thinking Christians, (and no, this is not an oxymoron) will come around when approached with Scripture and reason. I did. They need to be encouraged to think like Christ though (Scripturally), and not necessarily like their 'pastor', 'Congregational leader', or 'worship leader.'

Conspiracy vs. Complacency

You know, I used to balk at the idea that the MSM purposefully leaves out Paul, and is instead just complacent in the fact that they don't take him seriously.

But this is just getting ridiculous. "Herman Cain Not Far Behind"?? I mean, seriously - who IS this guy? If anyone were a "nobody", it's him. So what's the plot, what's the angle here? Is it just to try to get Obama re-elected? Is that it? And Fox is just too terrified of anyone who's not really a neocon?

It's making me sick.

I think he has gotten all of the "thinking" votes he is going to get. The rest of his votes are going to have to come from the squishy american idol middle. You can't attract those votes with reason. He will have to use makeup and one-liners.

I still think there are more out there;

Paul's message has not been heard clearly without biased interpretation from both sides of the partisan drama. In the Republican debates more will hear him, more are looking since the Obama disappointment and economic collapse -- and even more are disillusioned with the wars, TSA and other stomping on rights, etc.

Yep. Walmart people.

Considering all the bull the MSM has tried with our man, he's still there and alive! :)

The MSM Bias

May be in a strange way that could be an advantage. Three years ago I was in that position. All I knew of Ron Paul was he was that strange libertarian from Texas. After listening to his message I am all in.

It is an excellent start

Way much better than 2007. I bet these numbers will jump by at least 10% if we win the Ames Straw Poll. Let work on that.

I never like to name-call,

and I won't start now. But, this woman has a very low intellect! The GOP is never at a shortage for seemingly-low intellect candidates (some worse than others). Palin is likely less intelligent than Dubya. I had to find some you-tube examples of her with "foot-in-mouth" disease (a.k.a. WTF Am I talking About Syndrome), and it was packed! The woman has minimal office experience. She's not very bright. She has a very questionable understanding of US History! She's ATTRACTIVE...okay, I'll give her that. I just cannot understand WHERE this person has even a vague amount of required credibility to ever be considered or taken seriously. She will sink herself! She has to open her mouth sooner or later!

When Push Comes To Shove

In the voting booth, voters will not vote for a quitter.

She quit the governorship because of too much press attention, and pressure... Not exactly presidential.

I don't think she wants to run. She likes the attention she gets when people think she might run and the way it helps sell her book and show, but she doesn't want to run for president.

And, if someone strongly suggested she drop out to benefit "the party" last time, or threatened to reveal something about her to get her to quit, there are two problems: what if they do it again, and what if she caves again. Americans don't vote for quitters.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

kinda surprised ron siphons votes off palin

Don't you mean it's harder to believe Palin siphons votes off

The concept that anyone "owns" votes, at anytime, much less other than when they are actually cast, is absurd.

I write CNN and FOX

When time permits I write notes to CNN and FOX.

I just wrote a quick note to CNN a minute ago.
You can go to their home page and scroll way to the bottom for "contact us" then click TV and any email address will do.
I try and do an email a day to the MSM.
latest note I wrote today.

We have found out about a politician that we agree with and have not seen him on CNN.
We would like to hear more from Ron Paul on how economy will work after the dollar collapses.
We know its coming and cnn needs to start interviewing the people who saw this coming and get the ones who caused it off the cnn stage.

"OH NO! He has a SON?" Neoconservatives and Liberals EVERYWHERE!

Rand Paul 2016

Ron polls best among

Ron polls best among republican-leaning independents at 16%, the next best is only 12%. That means Ron is best general election candidate.

Mitt Romney has christian support?

wtf is going on.

Well, he is a Christian

As is Harry Reid.

But these men are both deceived, as are the vast majority of Christians, no matter what denomination.

Mormons are no different. Most don't have a clue. I know because I am one, but find that most will vote for Romney just as most blacks voted for Obama.

It's sickening.

The power of propaganda is tremendous.
