He Cannot Win - But It Is Important that Dr. Paul Runs

I think we all agree that the USA is in peril, and has been for a long time. We may further agree that the USA is in the hands of dark forces, no longer accountable to the People.

During the 2008 campaign I published quite a few pieces about the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) and other elitist groups that truly run the country. The president has no real power, and has had none since 1963 - with the possible exception of Reagan, who was limited severely, particularly after he was shot.

Ron Paul has always represented a threat to those in power, seeking to restore power to the People and to the Constitution. Well, it's just not going to happen now. It's too far gone. We have been severely compromised by those whom we trusted. This is nothing new to most of us/you.

But what Dr. Paul CAN do is to - is, like Paul Revere - sound the alarm. He has done this very well about many things - the staggering debt, the FED, the congressional fudging of the facts, and so many other things. By running, as he did in 2008, he will at least be able to bring these messages forth.

Ron Paul is 75 and has a squeaky voice. This is not attractive to many. (Lincoln also had a squeaky voice). It does not count that he is right - in America today. What passes for content is glamor, so Sarah Palin will get the flash cameras, even though she is quite bad. I have no idea who will win the Republican nomination, but it is moot now.

No matter what, Obama will win a Second Term. It's a done deal. The votes are already counted. Voter Fraud has happened since 1998, when Janet Reno commandeered the votes for AG in Dade County. Sorry to disappoint, but the Establishment, the CFR, the Bilderburgers, and the Committee of 300 (look it up) will not allow someone with integrity to win. They could allow it, of course. But they won't.

But he is in the mix. And that is important. He did well in some straw polls and that has been noticed by the Cuban-smoking elite in the Netherlands. They are amused.

You forgot the "unless"...

I assume we are at least agreed that the goal of our efforts is to elect Ron Paul president. That said...

He cannot win UNLESS his supporters get off their dead ends and actually DO something.

Now this goes beyond rushing off to "vote" in the latest "poll". It's more than making posts on line that say, "Ron Paul WILL win." Wishing for something does not make it so. WORKING for something makes it so.

A Ron Paul win will take tremendous EFFORT, but effort alone will not ensure a win. The effort has to be focussed, directed, targeted. Think of the difference between a military that drops bombs at random locations versus one that focusses 100 aircraft on a single target. Consider the difference between a "dumb" bomb and a cruise missile.

We must be more vigilant about how we spend our time, and how we direct our resources, and to which efforts we direct our energies.

I spent a lot of time working on the 2008 Ron Paul campaign. I saw a lot of excited, energized, positive people doing a lot of things that didn't bring much of a return on their investment of time and money. They felt good about what they were doing - but ultimately, they failed to achieve their goal. They were terribly disappointed when Ron Paul lost.

That's exactly what's going to happen this time UNLESS we learn from our mistakes.

If each of you would register as a Republican, give up two hours a month to go to your local Republican Executive Committee Meeting (REC), become a member and turn that entity's support to Ron Paul, he'd have the delegates he needs to become the Republican Candidate. Believe me, a lot of the people at those meetings just show up for social contact and free cookies. The leaders will be few, and those who have a strongly stated preference for president will be relatively few as well. The REC meetings I've attended reminded me more of a retirement home than an engine of political will. And they LOVED seeing young people join them. Go in, be nice, explain why you believe the future of the country rests on Ron Paul being elected, hob nob, convince, vote, elect, win. It really wouldn't take too many people to change the direction of the RECs, especially since THIS time you can point out that LAST time, everyone said Ron Paul was "crazy" - and he turned out to be RIGHT. We must turn the RECs around.

Keep in mind that NOTHING you do even matters if we do not achieve this goal.

Once the RECs support Ron Paul, the entire power of the Republican Party can be used to elect him president. We must win the nomination for Ron Paul, or nothing more will happen.

Cruising the web, looking for insults to Ron Paul and attacking them may FEEL good, but it's not the best use of your time. Voting in polls is fun - but how does that get Ron Paul more support in the RECs? One of the problems with the internet is that it provides instant feedback. You write something and it's there for all the world to see. Someone else reads it, and they respond. And the falderal goes on.

But in the end, what have you accomplished?

We need a new perspective, one that doesn't focus on immediate results. Step back. Take a long slow breath. Look at the big picture. Evaluate cause and effect. What are the keys to victory?

Before Ron Paul can be elected president, he has to be nominated. Before he can be nominated, he has to have enough delegates. Before he can get enough delegates, he has to have support in the RECs (or whatever your state equivalent is). Before he can get support in the RECs, he needs you to show up and make his case to the other REC members.

It's true. Ron Paul cannot win... UNLESS...

End media prejudice against Ron Paul in 2012.

Btw Ron is speaking right now to people in Mason City Iowa

I didn't realize you could

I didn't realize you could see into the future. Thanks now I can help prove you wrong in a little over a year.

why do we have these

why do we have these defeatist posts? Seriously, what good do they do? There have been many times where those who run the world have not been given their way. I suggest those who want to post garbage like this check it at the door. We don't need it here.

Of course he can win!

No offense, but are you nuts? Look at the polls! And we're energized! I assure you, NO ONE is energized for Romney, and Guliani always was a joke.

Integrity means having to say things that people don't want to hear & especially to say things that the regime doesnt want to hear -RonPaul

Far be it from anyone to question the Bilderburgers.

If they've decided RP won't win, it's a done deal.

"Win, Ron Paul, Win"

Per Rocky II...

Mickey, "What's the matter? You shook the hell out of the champion of the whole wide world. You be happy with that."

Rocky, "Maybe we can do better this time."

[later, after Adrian wakes from a coma]
Adrian, "There's one thing I want you to do for me."
Adrian, "Win. Win!"

From that Rocky's slogan was "Win, Rocky, Win".

The sleeping masses have awakened and we say, "Win, Ron Paul, Win!" That should be one of our primary slogans.

This is the kind of intensity we need in this campaign.

Check out this clip from Rocky II:

If the powers that be lose

everything if Ron wins, it stands to be anticipated they will do whatever they have to to make that not happen.
So it is unlikely, but it is not impossible and it is well worth the fight, cause either liberty wins or we are lost to a Fascist dictatorship.
If things cannot be changed at the ballot box, only one thing remains. And that is not preferable.

OP needs to get educated.

Ron Paul can win just as James Garfield won..it is not impossible.

President has the power to enforce current existing law..including the u.s. constitution. Congress would get their ship wrecked on Article 1 section 8.Its very possible legally to bind congress...depends on whether its wise or unwise..it would be a matter of deciding how to enforce the u.s. constitutional law upon congress in defense of the citizens liberties.

"The little Engine that could" !!!

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

The message has already won

The genie cannot be put back in the bottle. Those who have awakened cannot be put back to sleep. The acceleration is growing, the message is spreading faster and faster.

You are right about the problems we are facing - most people don't understand the powers we are up against. I tend to agree that we need to understand this more before we have a chance to win. The controllers will push their statists candidates in the media, ignore Ron Paul and if that is not enough they will pull out a statist candidate saying the same things as Ron Paul just to confuse the sleeping people and hand Obama a second term.

They also have the Diebold voting machines and the vote fraud to help them if everything else fails. They killed JFK and shot Reagan so why not again? Our movement is still too naive but that is ok. As it becomes even more noticeable how rigged the system is that will just awaken even more people. I believe we have passed the point of no return. Too many people know now and it becomes more obvious by the day.

Saying he can't win is not constructive, but knowing what we are up against is necessary for victory in the end, so thanks for that part.

He can win, he will win!!

He can win, he will win!! However, being a history bookworm of sorts, I'll confess that if Dr. Paul wins the nomination, he might have to nominate someone like Cain or somebody who's been in the inside, as the running mate in order to be tolerable. Just remember Reagan's double nomination in 1980 and 1984, with 2 landslide wins!

With Firm Reliance On The Providence of God....

With Firm Reliance On The Providence of God.... Ron Paul can win. Because nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing... nothing is impossible with God!

'With man this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible!'

'If you faith, all things are possible to him who has faith!'

Ron Paul CAN win!

Please remember what God did through our Founders (George Washington and the ragtag Continental army) despite all odds against them!

And please remind yourself what God CAN do through Ron Paul and a ragtag "army" of followers/volunteers/geniuses/etc. who are getting smarter, more passionate, and growing in ranks every day!

Think about it and know Ron Paul CAN win!

Please consider censoring topics that infer that "Dr. Paul cannot win" and the like. Heck, if all the folks that have said that would have supported him we would have HIM in the White House today!

This negative does not belong here and these are likely trolls hired by the PTB to interject it into the campaign! It sucks to see these topics and if the space were devoted to POSITIVE things we would all benefit!

Give us clear vision, that we may know where to stand and what to stand for - because unless we stand for something, we shall fall for anything.
~ Peter Marshall, US Senate Chaplain 1947

I tend to agree

Negativity has no place in this fight at this time.Let's go with Positive!

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

He CAN win.

And he can win by a landslide, but WE must act to spread the message, WE must get involved in local politics, WE must not be the ones saying "He can't win" (leave that garbage to the MSM) WE will effect change when WE realize the power is all in our hands if we would simply wield it. WE the people are legion, they in power are few in comparison. ONE person can make a difference, and that one could be anyone of us and IS ALL of us. Do what you can do, but DO something positive to move us towards our goal. Ron Paul CAN be President, but we the people MUST support him and make it known.

Inspiration rant over :)

Explain Rand Paul becoming a senator

most people with the "evil interests control everything in America" stance usually said the same thing about the Senate, thus so little was tried.

"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it." | Up for a game?

senator of Kentuky much

senator of Kentuky much different than POTUS

Not much of a difference taylor.

Districts in each state are similar to the way states have their own GOP. Its very hard to get a new senator elected against an former senator..and its very difficult to get as much support within the GOP as senator rand paul received. Ron Paul is going to win the delegates and that is how he will be nominated.

If Ron Paul gets the GOP nomination, the General Election will be unlike anything ever seen in this Country before.

For once, there will be a real dialog and a real debate about substantive issues, and we will see voter turnout like nothing ever witnessed before 60%-65%.

But Obama has no real support from either the left or the right. The Economy will continue to flounder, and Obama will continue to get us deeper and deeper involved in these horrible Wars in Libya, Afghanistan, Yemen, Iraq, and Pakistan. His artificial popularity (due to the Osama story) will soon plummit back down again.

He can't run on a message of "change" again, for he has changed nothing, and spent the last years endorsing the very worst of the Cheney-Bush legacy. The only way that Obama wins is by having another Establishment Republican oppose him -- where there is no policy difference (except on abortion or other fringe issues).

I hate bumping this post

I hate bumping this post because I am absolutely sick of seeing this negative naysaying overtaking this board. So I am making the first post to ask others not to comment and bump up these negative posts and let these posts die a quick death.

Remember when Rand was running and all the negative posts that were saying he can't win and he was a traitor and on and on? One thing is for certain, if he didn't have believers who supported him all the way he couldn't have won. He won and Ron Paul can too.

Sure the media is against him and the neocon Red State weirdos are against him. Those are the loudmouth cretins that would like to influence and shape everything in our lives. So, we need to counter this with positive enthusiasm for our good candidates. We need to be loud and a force to be reckoned with; not 'I know he can't win because we will be beaten back by the powers that be yadda yadda."

Ron Paul is getting a lot of press and media attention both good and bad. He won CPAC, his book is selling well, he is placing well in the polls, getting interviews, large receptions at his speaking engagements, has growing name recognition...he is positioned well and spreading the message to more and more receptive voters. Remember, times are catching up with RPs dire predictions and more newcomers are ready for his message...many people who didn't know about him before or didn't understand his message and warnings but will now. So let's not have 2-5 HE CAN'T WIN statements splattered on this site when they come to research Ron Paul and his support base.
