Tim was fair and treated Ron just as he has treated other candidates. Yes he was tough, but he always is.
Celebrate the way Ron handled himself, he was magnificent and got to espouse his views and explain many of his positions.
Today was a great thing for Ron!!! And ultimately America.....

Yes, and there will be alot more mileage
For the idea that Washington is controlled by the special interests, and that we are losing freedoms.
I'm sure he will be called out on the fascism comparison, but it looks to me like he is willing to throw the gauntlet on this one and take them on.
]I agree wholeheartedly that we should not send negative comments to Russert. This was a grat oppurtunity for national attention, and to call out the Neocons on their " soft fascism" is Great, and whether it hurts or helps in the short run I can't say, it certainly helps in the long run for the goal of liberty.
We need more facts and figures
Wouldn't the arguement for eliminating the IRS be more effective if we had facts and figures regarding how much our foreign policy costs per year? For example, ending the war would save roughly X hundred billion dollars per year, bringing the troops home from all other countries would save X hundred billion per year, the IRS brings in X hundred billion per year, etc.
From the MTP interview, I got the feeling that we really couldn't eliminate the IRS after all.
Thoughts?
We don't know how to mind our own business
'Cause the whole worlds got to be just like us
Now we are fighting a war over there
No matter who's the winner
We can't pay the cost

'Cause there's a monster on the loose
Send Thanks to Tim Russert and Meet the Press
Before you send ANY email to Meet the Press ...
If you are UNFAMILIAR with the program then you should watch some other videos and educate yourself to the style of this program. Tim Russert's purpose in life is to find dirt, expose, and question it. It's tough by design and the Dr. did awesome.
I believe that Tim Russert was VERY fair to Ron Paul and allowed him to answer the questions fully.
HE HAD HIM ON THE PROGRAM... IT'S WHAT WE ALL WANTED. SEND POSITIVE THANKS NOW:
