5 Reasons Why Ron Paul Will WinSubmitted by hectorinmiami on Mon, 06/06/2011 - 14:45
1) BEST ORGANIZED TO WIN
- Local grassroots are energized toward Paul
The 2008 campaign was known for energetic, passionate and young supporters. These same supporters are now the volunteer base made up of committed, well-educated and politically experienced activists. These supporters have been continuously involved locally and that is where elections are won. These efforts have elected many officeholders who support Ron Paul, including his own son, Rand Paul, the new US Senator from Kentucky.
The TEA Party has been recognized as an effective, anti-establishment, conservative movement with Ron Paul as its intellectual and spiritual "Godfather." A continuation of the same sentiment that won Republicans the House of Representatives in 2010 will come to support Ron Paul if they want to take the White House.
2) FINANCIAL SUPERIORITY
- Early Money Is Like Yeast and Ron Paul is raising a lot!
The campaign is off to early and strong fundraising totals. Fundraising prowess that began in November 2007 is starting much earlier in the election cycle, April, four years later. The Paul campaign can direct money towards campaign efforts unlike other campaigns that have to use fundraising to pay for "brand management" toward overcoming very unpopular personal and ideological positions such as in the case of Mitt Romney, former governor of Massachusetts.
The Republican field does not have a single candidate that can match the Ron Paul organization and fundraising ability (with the exception of Romney).
3) RON PAUL IS MAINSTREAM
- Honesty and Sincerity are Ron Paul's trademark.
Ron Paul as a brand and as a candidate are now taken very seriously by the media and the political establishment often parroted his message in a bid to remain relevant. News organizations that attempt to smear Ron Paul are generally unsuccessful and give up or face losing viewers/readership.
Ron Paul is considered the most honest man in Congress today and his record is the GOLD STANDARD for Republicans who care about the Constitution. His word is as good as gold!
4) POLLS SHOW STRONG AND GROWING SUPPORT
- Ron Paul near 1st and 2nd and best Republican versus Obama
Polls show support for Ron Paul as "small" (10-15% of Republicans). This base of support is actually much larger than anyone else running or considering to run (competitive with Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney). Support for Ron Paul genuine and unmovable and can only grow while other campaigns have to worry more about keeping their own base of support intact.
5) "IT'S THE ECONOMY, STUPID!"
- Blame the FED fever will catch on
Food prices as well as the prices for most other items are increasing about 10% annually. That means that since Ron Paul has been running for president in 2007 food prices have gone up nearly 40%. As people feel the pain in their bellies and at the pump) they will demand accountability. Ron Paul, who has been preaching about the fundamental problems of the US monetary system and the FED for decades, is the only candidate who is offering secure solutions to help the people maintain their "quality of life."
Any economic crisis in the next year will only strengthen Ron Paul's position and weaken Obama's (and every Republican who stands opposed to Paul economic views).
