The Forces against Ron Paul are now in battle cry after the MTP Interview
Ron Paul handled himself beautifully. He bit BACK and held his ground BUT he was questioned by Russert about foreign aid and the influence of Corporations. Paul answered NO to foreign aid (Israel and Suadi Arabia were mentioned specifically) and fighting the rising "soft fascism" of Corporatocracy. How do you think GE (owners of NBC and defense contracts with the Government) is feeling now that Paul wants out of Iraq and bases shut down all over the world? How do you think the Government of Israel is feeling that Paul wants aid stopped? What about Saudi Arabia?
War on Ron Paul has been declared by many extremely powerful influences, I can assure you of that. The Forces against Paul have just increased 10 fold in my opinion and I believe I'm correct.

I absolutely believe one of the best ways we can support this campaign is to spread information about Ron Paul through word of mouth advertising. Introduce everyone you can to Ron Paul and ask them to spread the word. Get new people involved. Media's Tactics Nothing New
This is a re-post but I just gotta say it again...
Well aware of media bias and blackout for many years, I have watched and supported Ron Paul since the 70's and the treatment he is receiving today is nothing new. Anyone that has advocated Constitutional Principles have been ignored, smeared, falsely accused, railroaded out of office, and worse. Good and patriotic men like Dr. Paul, Barry Goldwater, Bob Barr, Jim Trafficant, Willis Carto, George Hanson... whatever it took to supress them and their policies is what was done.
The media has been controlled for a long time and has always protected its controllers. The threat that Ron Paul poses to the shadow government that advocates the NWO today is the most serious assult on their stranglehold since JFK. They will not let go of their power voluntarily and they are very powerful. But the one thing they fear is the American People organizing to their detriment. Because they know we are the only thing standing in their way.
Don't expect the media to do anything other than crank up the heat on Ron Paul. Instead, be aware that we are truly involved in what Dr. Paul has called " a continuation of the revolution that brought us our Constituton and brought us our freedoms."
If I read it right, the first half of this revolution got downright nasty. The second half could prove to be similar. There's no reason to dismiss the founders warnings. Not at this point. People, we are dealing with that exact tyrranical government.
The money is there, we've done our part in that department. Let the campaign worry about the media. They are in a much better position to deal with it.
We need to focus on the message, work diligently toward bringing that message to more people, and prepare ourselves for the fight for this country's life.

The knee-jerk reaction to tie Jews to the banking industry is a classic case of generalization, assuming the forest IS the trees. It's as shortsighted as calling all conservatives neo-nazis, all blacks basketball stars, all italians mobsters or all musicians druggies. Some are. But not all. Attack the banking industry if you want, but can you do it without impugning and entire 15 million people and their religion?

Sure, if one wants to go looking for Jewish names among the heads of banks and media conglomerates they will find some - but this sort of generalization is both divisive and, upon close examination, inaccurate.

In my opinion most of the comments on this thread are unnecessary and maybe even harmful to the campaign. There is no need to discuss weaknesses in our message. What could that possibly help??
Ron Paul is our man and we vote for him because he is the only candidate who knows what is needed.
Let's concentrate on helping this fantastic campaign and get the simple message out that Paul has integrity and a proven track record for freedom, peace and small Government.
If we want to help this campaign we need to keep it simple. We have won over many of the thinkers. Unfortunately that category is probably less than 20% of the voters. To win we need to win over a lot of the people who don't really care or who don't have the time or motivation to understand the position on every issue in depth (maybe 80%). To do this we need a simple message that everybody can understand.

We knew going into this that it was going to be a fight. When was the last time a man stood against the tide the way Dr. Paul has? What Dr. Paul is doing is HISTORIC, and he is opening thousands of AMERICAN eyes every day, every hour, every minute. A Dr. Paul Presidency will topple the house of cards as THEY know it, and we need to be prepared. Are we advocating Peace? YES! Are we advocating change? YES!
However, to take back our REPUBLIC from those who have stolen it from us will take hard work. The hard work of us, the ones who now see things for what they are, to talk to everyone we know so that they too can see things for what they really are.
Someone posted a sermon by Rod Parsley where he spends 45 minutes telling the same truth to his congregation that Dr. Paul is saying. The message is on Fire, but it will take hard work. The MSM will do whatever they have to do to try to smear Dr. Paul. They have always been afraid of him, and thought that by blacking him out, no one would pay attention.
Now that people all over this country are paying attention, they will use PLAN B. If Plan B doesnt work, they will go to PLAN C.
Let's be prepared, memorize Dr. Pauls answers and be ready to answer any of the questions thrown at us!

The war has not been declared against Ron Paul
it has been declared against the American people. He is only who we have chosen to represent us. As we speak the plans for martial law are being accelerated. Posturing has begun to enable lock-down, FW Star Telegram, Mr. Colley the head of Texas Disaster Preparedness stated all evacuees from disasters will undergo background checks, to seperate "undesirables" a term straight from nazi Germany. The FBI just announced a super data-base to include retina scans and palm scans of all arrested and from job applicants that undergo background checks. Google FEMA camps and see the camps being constructed by Cheney's company (just a little conflict of interest) The result of the successes of the Paul campaign is a shift from incrementally phasing in martial law to a bold move to prepare the public. Helecopters land at elementary schools. Talking back to a policeman will get you tasered (tortured) roadblocks will become more common. The move is total control and to instill the fear of non-conformity. Be prepared for big changes in the next few months. Bushco will not miss any opportunity to wreck what is left of the constitution or fail to dish out billions to their cronies or themselves.

He was hitting it out of the park. Then he accepted a Russert appearance? Right before the Iowa caucus? There was absolutely no need. He's getting his message out there, no more face time with character assassins needed., thank you very much. If he does feel compelled to do more tv interviews in the next two weeks, then Please RP, emphasize your total successes recently . The educational portion of your campaign is now unnecessary, your devoted army is doing that for you.
What irked me the most
as the way Russert used quotes for other people instead of Dr. Paul to show Dr. Paul's positions. Most of the quotes used were not Dr. Paul's so how can he be judged by them. Anyone can say anything and it is passed off as if the candidate said it. What a bunch of garbage. He even tried to discredit the Simon Lewis quote. Unbelievable!

that's Sinclair Lewis, not Simon Lewis.
And Sinclair Lewis probably did NOT ever say that exact quote -- no one can find it. Having said that, it is a fair summation of Sinclair Lewis' ideas (See "It Can't Happen Here," and has come somehow to be attributed to him.
It is one of those quotes that has gone through several changes, and is similar to quotes by other famous people too, so it is a valid IDEA, and Ron Paul is I think spot on in saying that Mike Huckabee's commercial reminds him of that IDEA (he said "what Sinclair Lewis said").
There are lots of famous quotes attributed to people who never actually said them. George Washington supposedly said "Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force; like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master" but no one has ever found it in his speeches or papers.

my wife thought he didn't come off very well on the very first question...because Ron Paul could not come up with the figure of how much money he would do away with if the income tax was done away with.she thought he came off as "unknowledgable" because Russert had to answered it for him.

I could have been on MTP today. I could have answered Russerts questions better. Ron suffers from being too nice a buy. He was IN the "snake pit" and needed to do better. We all know his positions so we can put his answer together in our heads. If I was an outsider trying to make up my mind, I'm not sure I'd be impressed.

Facts would be really good at this point. Rumors are just way too easy and inflammatory.

It's not a simple thing you know...I am for one ready to lose it all in hopes of preserving liberty for my children and yours. I don't care about any material possessions, as I have already right now made the decision to fight (legally if possible) for liberty and not settle for anything less. If I lose my life or anything else, at least my children will have been taught by example how important liberty is, and what it means to stand. Standing is much more than talk. and none of us should have to go it alone. As was addressed earlier, crackdowns may become more noticable. Therefore, all patriots need to be prepared. I would suggest to all rp supporters:

2. Brainstorm ideas including the worst case scenario, before venturing out in public.
3. Agree to solidarity in action. No patriot left behind.
Had this been followed, we would have been able to see the filmed events at Boston Harbor when the patriots dumped the protest boxes in the water.
We missed this opportunity because the authorities said we couldn't film in public and we allowed them to deny us our freedom to use our property (camcorder). If we'd stood tall and filmed anyway, someone may have been arrested. This would precipitate a call for all the patriots to loudly demonstrate outside the local police precinct until our fellow Citizen was released. Any press coverage would show voters that we ronpaulers are serious about our constitution and will walk the talk. I trust we learned from this experience and will not make the same mistake in the future.
