Edwin Vieira on Constitutional Money
Submitted by legalizeliberty on Sun, 08/07/2011 - 09:29in
Edwin Vieira talks to James Turk about his book "Pieces of Eight: The Monetary Powers and Disabilities of the United States Constitution".
Edwin explains the role that the gold commission hearings and Ron Paul played in inspiring the book. He also says how important and urgent monetary reform is for the United States and how the best chance of reform comes at the state level, given gridlock in Washington.

I have a
DVD titled "Don't Tread On Me", and he is really great in it.
I've watched a lot of videos on James Turk's www.goldmoney.com including this one. There's a lot of really good stuff in the videos and articles there.
I agree that the full video of this should be watched.

I Talked About This GREAT Video With My Wife,,,
And we decided that along with Ron Paul these two monetary specialists { Edwin Vieira/James Turk } are the only true "optimists" that are dedicated to saving the original America, and the states that want to listen and learn, that when the dollar financial system collapses, which it surely will, and might be doing right now, with Gold spiking to over $1703 U.S. dollars to the ounce, and at the same time, freely give to those people that have "HOPE" that they can survive an economic calamity, with a little planning, and saving !
By the way, "Hope", is the state motto of Rhode Island.
Thanks Legalize Liberty.
P.S. I have already ordered the new Pieces of Eight, latest edition.

I watched the long version. It's a blueprint for state action, and a great idea. Politicians are pretty "conservative" in that they don't like to be original, so showing them how to save our bacon in an historically proven way is very useful.
What do you think? http://consequeries.com/
Long version is much better than the short one.
The short video embedded above does not really get into any details, it's not really a summary, but rather just a cut from the beginning introduction of the long version.
I wish the long version was embedded instead, more people might end up watching it:

The states already have the authority to create alternative currency based upon real money, gold and silver!
We can end the slavery and corruption without Washington at all. We just have to get our states to make sound money and the federal government will have no choice but to follow, since the Fed and fiat will become irrelevant.
