Shooting a wounded person lying on the ground

shooting a wounded person in the chest lying on the ground from a gunshot wound is typically classified as a war crime imo, as is shooting a hand cuffed person if I am not mistaken.

I do not think it is a war crime shooting a dog tied to a tree though.

Things like this

do not bode well for officer safety in the future.

Why Did the Guy Run?

I think the officer was doing the right thing the first time he shot the guy, but walking over and then shooting him in the chest was definitely too far.

Completely Disagree...

How did he do the right thing? The guy had no weapon and was shot to death by the officer. The police are bound by the same laws as any of us, in theory anyway. If I shot somebody because I thought their cell phone was a gun after I had just chased them down the street because their lights were out they'd lock me up for murder. This cop deserves some citizen justice and I don't mean dollars.

NOTE: I am not advocating violence in any way. The content of the post is for intellectual, theoretical, and philosophical discussion. FEDS, please don't come to my house.

We'll take any kind of

We'll take any kind of justice where we can get it in this corrupt police state. But you're right: the $400k should've come from the police pension plan. Now THAT would make these idiots walk on eggshells around us.

I agree in principle: but $400k would barely

dent their fat pension fun. The citizens need to get these monsters fired.

Yes, by all means, fire them

Yes, by all means, fire them too, or put them on trial. My point is though, 400k though still a cloud "as small as a man's hand"....would open a floodgate for similar lawsuits against police pension funds throughout the entire U.S. They could lose billions.

Should read Albuquerque TAXPAYERS to pay $400K

The money should be coming out of the cop's wallet.

i agree, this always costs

i agree, this always costs the taxpayer, criminal charges against the officer would be better

yes,the system is as such

yes,the system is as such

If they don't change the

way they do things this will happen over and over.

Kind of sad that the man's

Kind of sad that the man's life is only worth $400k of inflating notes.

His life is worth about 20 seconds of fed printing, maybe less.

I reserve the right to govern myself.

I am glad but it seems a

I am glad but it seems a paltry sum for a life.
