MSNBC REMOVES talk forum for Ron Paul....

Well I use to love going to the Ron Paul talk forum that was on MSNBC's website... you know, the candidates section where you could go and discuss each candidate.
Well it was up this morning and everyone was Blasting Tim Russert and this attempted press smear of Ron Paul and everyone was pretty pissed that they had to go back 20 years and pull some obscure comments out of thin air as well as quote a disgruntled ex-employee....
Well people supported Ron Paul etc. etc. etc. and guess what - no more chat area about Ron Paul... gee it just sort of vanished off the page...LOL...

I don't remember selling my share in electrons bouncing across the sky. The corporate media has stolen the 4th estate. 2.7 million viewers?
NBC has no legal right to attack any candidate without the consent of the governed. Its job to Americans is to present the candidate so the people can be informed.
Does anyone truly believe a corporation has the "right" to "own" airspace?
Ludicrous.
The corporate media does not represent Dr. Paul's ideas of freedom. Corporations themselves are unconstitutional, simply because individuals are not accountable for "corporate" crimes.
NBC is ours. Along with ABC, CBS, PBS.
And I would argue it is a crime to not get the messages of every candidate out to the people.
We have every right to protest NBC. It was created for the people.

If they want to remove the forum, so be it. There are plenty of other Ron Paul forums to complain/discuss (depending on your pov) about another perceived hit piece.

You're forgetting, or maybe you don't know...
That the site is their private property. If they want to stop you from flaming Russert on their site they can. I don't get why you'd go there to do that anyway. Save it for Ron Paul forums. You act as if it's a surprise or a conspiracy that they took it down, when you just said, "everyone was blasting Russert." Owning a site gives you the right to manage it how you see fit, and forums are moderated by the owners, giving the priviledge of "free" speech to posters. If you believe in Paul's message, you should be more cognizant of it as to not engage in hypocrisy of this sort.

even the folks at dailypaul loves to flag and ban legitimate posts here. The reason, this is a "private property". So let us not be hypocritical. Are you going to ban me for saying this?
I love Ron Paul to the death but it seems some supporters here have'nt grasp the real spirit of liberty. Just my 2 cents

I would argue some supporters here haven't grasped the concept of self moderation. If the system isn't working, do something about it. Get a group of like-minded readers together, put together a proposal for Michael and present it.

I've never had a post or forum topic flagged or taken off. I've been here about 3 months and have posted some pretty saucy stuff when I got pissed off or was on a super rant. I have agreed that some posts needed to be removed. What did you post that got flagged? Be honest...

Not neccesarily my posts but i saw several being flagged. like the person who posted the 9 videos who gots flagged (because it seems conspiracy-like), the title is TimC, USS liberty posts which actually happens gets removed (we fear Israel?), the one where Ron Paul is linked to Jesus. The authors did not say that Ron Paul is Jesus, just saying that he is a good christian, and it gets flagged. I try to revive it, not sure what happen to it though.

I've never gone to the MSNBC website but assuming it is true, this would be newsworthy in itself.
So another idea would be to make other news outlets aware of this and see if they pick up on it.

We email bombed them a couple of monthas ago and they were forced to actually post an open letter to the Ron Paul supporters. It was after they were busted taing down a poll that RP was winning. There is a YouTube vid of it floating around. It was pretty sweet.

Sorry, no lettering done... dont want to sound hypocritical but organizing everyone to email all 50 states bookstores for Dec 16th took all my energy... I am coasting through the rest of this year!
But Jan 8th I am supporting the media bomb for Ron Paul... i.e. getting out and posting signs EVERYWHERE that day...
So what if they get torn down eventually. Hopefully it will be another news event that we put Ron Paul back in the media for a new novel idea by his grassroots supporters...
