Paul signs Pro-Life Pledge

http://www.sba-list.org/sites/default/files/content/shared/r...

The Ron Paul campaign has slammed Romney for not signing this pledge. The wording in this pledge also makes clear that Gary Johnson and Jesse Venture will not be considered as his possible running mate. Thank goodness!

So that begs the question.. If Ron gets the GOP nod who will his running mate be? I am still hoping for the Judge. (Andrew Napolitano) In fact, I cannot think of a better pick.

my ideal "lineup" would be....

VP... Tom Woods
WH chief of staff... Doug Wead
Press Secretary... Ben Swann (or, gasp!! Alex Jones)
Secretary of Defense... Michael Schuer
Attorney General... Judge Nap (with Bruce Fein and Vincent Bugliosi appointed as Special Prosecutors for Bush, Bubba AND Hitlery Clinton, baby Bush, Obama, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Gates - and more - War Crimes prosecutions) Then when a SCOTUS seat opens, Judge Nap there and Fein elevated to A.G.

no good??

Tom Woods

would make an excellent press secretary. I can just see him now, making fools out of all those liberal journalists in his press conferences.

Minnesota Mary

This Pledge Signed On 6/14/11 May Not Be Legitimate !

I recently had a go around with a Christian {?} lady who led me to a site that said Ron Paul had made a pledge to support contraception.

IT WAS BOGUS !

The site led to a Jerusalem based dis-information site that was trying to bash our Ron Paul !

I trust him after 30 years to pick someone that's

Constitutional first.

Besides, it just makes good sense to pick someone that follows your beliefs as close as possible. Security wise that is.

I agree it should be the Judge

But if not then I wouldn't be opposed to Sarah Palin.

I think he should seek out a

I think he should seek out a retired officer of the military that agrees with his foreign policy, and the rest of his platform. Judge, schiff, and all those guys are great and would debate wonderfully but there would be a lot of sound bites of things they've said for the dems to use.

Like...it's hard to explain why minimum wage is bad in a 30 second rebuttal and have people listen and understand intently

The Judge, Peter Schiff or

The Judge, Peter Schiff or maybe Walter Williams???(although he would make a wonderful last Federal Reserve Chairman...!!)

The Judge

should be the Attorney General. Much more power, and focused on his true strengths.

Say YES to Dr. NO

Walter Williams

would be a good choice too. Good call.

Has to be somebody incorruptable

If you walk up to him with a few hundred million and/or a veiled threat he'll tell ya to go take a hike.

Doug Wead

Press Secretary (though he may be overqualified)

Schiff or Napolitano

Schiff is probably the best voice of reason-
he is very clear and articulate. He also is VERY quick and is capable of going up against anybody.
Judge Nap would also be a good choice. He is well respected and consistent.

Either one of these guys would help Ron Paul out substantially.

Probably not.

Peter is pro-choice.

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

Fun speculation

Of course, this pledge doesn't say anything about who to choose for VP. I'm sure that he and Gary Johnson could get along, since even pro-choice Johnson hammered down legislation supporting late-term abortion in his state, but since Gary is actively running for president, I don't see him and RP actually joining forces. They see each other as competition, most likely.

I don't see the Judge or Peter Schiff as VP. They are TV personalities, and being VP is a full-time job, I'm sure.

Chuck Baldwin I can see, as well as Dennis Kuchinich (can't spell or pronounce his name). Ton Woods would work, too, as well as Dean can'tthisofhisnameCURSETIREDNESS.

Tom Woods

He's the only real choice. He's a brilliant man and an excellent speaker.

Peter Schiff- Secretary of the Treasury.

Oh yea! You're right, Tom

Oh yea! You're right, Tom Woods would be FANTASTIC!

Napolitano is winning the poll as of 2012 Feb. 13.

That was fun

Shocked to see some of the options there (Barbara Boxer ?!?), but that was fun.

My answer: 1) Chuck Baldwin 2) Dennis Kuchich (can't spell) 3) Gary Johnson.

things I can see.

Judge Andrew Napolitano for the OLC. Tom Woods for the Chief of staff. give your perspective!!

hope for the best

Perhaps

Some General or other high ranking Officer that was 'forced' to retire because he excerised common sense and ideals that RP focuses upon.

I think this would tie in well with RP's national defence position and the transition from offence to defence would run more smoothly with someone with much experience in these matters. Heck, the Officer could even start a project to begin the establishment of a military intelligence program again.

Such a selection would also be well looked upon most Americans imo, especially in these times.

This is a wise and worthy

This is a wise and worthy point (regarding a military officer who espouses common sense military rhetoric).

Peter Schiff!!!

He can debate!!His way of expressing his thoughts with understandable analogy's is IMPRESSIVE. I love how he never backs down, even when he has the entire room trying to intimidate him and calling him crazy.

Not

gonna happen. He is a pro-abort and his personal life is lacking and his dad is in prison.

I admire his dad

for standing up to the lying, thieving, thugs of the unconstitutional IRS. He has principles and was unjustly sent to prison.

Huntsman seems to be a

Huntsman seems to be a reasonable choice. They seem to get along well.

I have to ask,

why do you see Huntsman as a reasonable choice? The two getting along well doesn't amount to anything politically.

Personally, I don't like hearing his "the GOP is anti-science" garbage. I guess not buying into the manmade global warming spiel is somehow anti-science. No Mr. Huntsman, I like REAL science, not politicized babble.

Huntsman

I understand why someone would lean towards him. He is definitely Republican 'lite'.

Yet, the guy was the Ambassador to China. If this was 60 years it would not really be a big deal. But today this is unacceptable. As well, his adamant support of AGW is a huge problem. He must as well run as a Democrat or Green.

donvino

I recently read

some comments from others on the DP that were discussing how Huntsman may be getting set up to become the 2012 version of McCain, making Obama's second term a shoe-in.

Not sure if I buy that (poll-wise, he's only doing slightly better than Santorum), but with Perry losing steam this early on, you never know.
