Time: Did Airport Scanners Give Boston TSA Agents Cancer?

Could radiation from full-body scanners be responsible for a "cancer cluster" among airport security workers? That's what Transportation Security Administration union representatives in Boston have claimed.
Now, the Washington-based Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) has obtained documents from the Department of Homeland Security, which EPIC says provide evidence that the government failed to properly test the safety of full-body scanners at airports, and dismissed concerns from airport agents about excessive exposure to the machines' radiation.

The documents, which include emails, radiation test results and radiation studies, were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by EPIC. The advocacy group says they indicate that Homeland Security "publicly mischaracterized" safety findings by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), by suggesting that NIST had "affirmed the safety" of full body scanners.

Think strategically

People here should be more sympathetic. One, because it is the Christian thing to do, but two, because people who have been betrayed, indeed murdered, by their own team, are most likely to become your team's most advanced guard -- especially if they have little left to loose except to exact revenge. If this is true, we need to make these victims our best friends.

How are we to trust molesters in the first place?

As far as "the Christian thing to do," I don't recall Jesus showing such compassion for the moneychangers.

I think I can summarize my

I think I can summarize my sympathy towards those TSA agents quite easily:

^that's a flea playing a tiny violin for them.

Poetic Justice for agents of tyranny.

Field Marshall Janet may have to draft TSA agents.

You do realize this lawsuit...

... puts taxpayers on the hook for any settlement fund, right?

These TSA "victims" are angling to become just another battalion in the Free Sh!t Army.

Down with DC crooks!

The sooner DC goes under the water the better.
Just as Ron Paul says "let them go bankrupt".

maybe these TSA goons won't be able to breed either.

Maybe they'll all eventually die-off.
I hope it's soon.

I confess, I lack sympathy for TSA agents.

Anyone who would DARE to fondle me for any reason whatsoever is my enemy. I don't fly because of these creeps, and I would LIKE to fly.

If they are stupid enough to take a job with the TSA, no wonder they are too stupid to see the risks of working with radiation.

Sorry if this sounds totally insensitive, but it's a huge issue. I HOPE that people will avoid working for the TSA because they are fearful of getting cancer. I HOPE the TSA shrivels up and dies because no one will work for them. They jeopardized the lives of their employees, they raped thousands of people, and it's time for this cr*p to stop!!

I care less about the TSA

I care less about the TSA workers...but what I find shocking is how casual the article mention that 40% of Americans will eventually get cancer, like it's so normal.

Do they wear lead aprons

like x-ray technicians? That would be comfortable to wear all day long, huh?

I think the TSA agents are merely collateral damage to the evil forces behind this draconian effort.

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.

I think I'd opt for the pat-down from now on just to be on the safe side.

Millions of people will be voting for Ron Paul because TSA abuse woke them up.
