$10 Radio Controlled Blimp

I just love the videos of Paulistas marching in parades with a replica of the RP blimp in tow. Soooo cool!

Maybe even cooler is a radio controlled blimp for use in public indoor places like malls. You might need permission, but nobody's not going to notice when it goes by!

I've seen R/C blimps online for as low as $9.95. Here's a link for a 40" blimp at that price: http://www.hobbytron.com/ElectricAirshipRCBlimpUJ8831.html (I'm not spamming here; I have no financial interest in this.)

All you need then is a coat of white paint and a rEVOLution stencil! (And helium, of course.)

Right now, I would settle for a blimp balloon

that I could tie to my bookbag and walk around San Francisco with.

Has anyone got their blimp yet?

Just wondering how well it performs, etc.

BlimpBombs!

With this we could have organized and legal flash-mobs or... "BlimpBombs!"

-Ron Paul 2012-

Looking for people active in the DC/Alexandria, VA area!

RP blimp could tow ... a Romney "wimp"!

Don't ask me yet what form a wimp would take. That will emerge in time.

check out Amazon too/white blimp would be better

saw the same one on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Electric-Airship-Remote-Control-Blimp/...

but they don't seem to have white...

I did a search on Amazon for "blimp" and found this one with stencils (it is 36" as opposed to the other at 40"). It is more expensive though.

Yikes! $12.74 shipping at Amazon!

Amazon doesn't fulfill orders for these, and the merchant who does really socks it to you with shipping charges. Still, $23 delivered to your door isn't bad.

EDITED: It turns out that HobbyTron.com charges only $10.45 for shipping. Also, they have a bricks-and-mortar store in Valencia, CA for anyone who can get there.

Synchronized Blimping!

Thousands at the next debate!

Regarding Palin: I believe we are watching in real time the rise of the third party, which will be controlled by the powers that be from its' inception.

Blimping, LOL

All with little money bombs attached! LOL

Wow! Another great idea: Miniature "$" bombs

I'm not sure how to make something that's obviously a bomb, but I'll bet someone in the movement could design a replica bomb we can paint with RP slogans.

What if during the next

What if during the next debate, Romney is defending Obamneycare, and a tiny Revolution blimp floats 20 feet in front of his face at a steady 1 mile per hour?

Columbus, Ohio

that blimp should make an appearance

If Ron Paul is excluded from a major event...

That's Awesome. I actually

That's Awesome. I actually may do this. I had a Ron Paul Freedom Flyer last election cycle.

I used to have a better song playing (Van Halen - Dreams), but YouTube and Warner Bros. removed it.

I'd like to see your R/C plane towing a banner

in the foreground of a video, with a regular plane doing the same in the background!

id like to see this idea take

id like to see this idea take off. instead of people donating 10$ on a large blimp we could have 1000. of course ron said the most important thing is to donate to the campaign.

Mini 2012 Ron Paul blimps

The Ron Paul campaign should order a few hundred, or thousand and have them pre-stenciled with the revolution logo and sell them on the Ron Paul 2012 web site. The blimp was an iconic image of the 2008 campaign, I would buy one.

They Could Sell Them

for $20-$25 and make them a fund-raiser for the campaign. I think lots of people would buy pre-stenciled models.

Sell Some Autographed By Ron Paul

That would generate some revenues.

Great idea

Great idea

yes, as a remembrance of the campaign.

I would buy one.

LivingTheDream

Email the campaign the idea.

Email the campaign the idea.

Really! That is so cheap!

Really! That is so cheap! They could do all that and still sell for $25 and make a profit.

That's a GOOD

Idea!

I May

get one of these. I have a little inflatable one from last campaign, but this would be awesome - and affordable.
