Christian Science Monitor Article

Ron Paul Patriots,

You need to check out this article and we have to get the word out. This article is a blatant lie and attack on Ron Paul. It actually says in the article that "Representative Paul himself acknowledges he can’t win the nomination, but he’s trying to make a point – that his ideas matter – by finishing the quarter at $5 million."

I am absolutely livid about this article. Check it out and let's load up her mail box as well as the editor's.

Nice job everybody. You got a retraction/correction.

Way to go.

Blatant Lie

"Representative Paul himself acknowledges he can’t win the nomination." That statement could most certainly be considered defamation. People get sued for that everyday.

Great job Libertad79! Looks

Steve Scully should have spoken up.

On the same day as the airing of Ron's C-Span interview Linda Feldmann was on Washington Journal with Steve Scully. She made the same statement and Steve said nothing, even after Ron had given him the opposite response on the matter a few days before. Ron's passion to deliver a rebirth of American Freedom could not be missed in that interview.

If I was charitable I would say these "Journalist" simply misunderstood his goal of informing the public as a necessary precursor to the goal of achieving the Presidency as a precursor to the Ultimate goal of returning Freedom to our People.

I'm not Charitable.

Intentional misrepresentation and overt omissions can't be so easily excused.

I'll take my Liberty, it's not yours to give.

Write a letter to the editor because that is a blatant lie. The CS Monitor typically has some of the best, most accurate reporting, so I'd like a response from their organization.

Yes they sure get to live fat and easy for a while

campaigning makes a great lifestyle.
Of course it's all tax free and not to mention, free.
The government even kicks in to help promote the lifestyle.

My stick is bigger than your stick . YOU the man.

So, Linda Feldmann is predicting that

Candidates with mega$$umbilical cords attached to MIC/prowarIsraelFirsters/Bankers/unions will have raised for the last quarter:
M Romney: 15 - 20 Mill
M Bachmann: 15 Mill

That is three to five times the fund raised by Ron Paul.

and Obm, who had $750 Mill in 2008 war-chest, is predicted to receive $1Bill play money for the general election to conjure up the image of a grand dictator by saying anything to lure voters to vote for him.

** This article is presenting a sober picture of the reality of 2011-12 USA politics. Vibrant freedom-loving grassroots will have to plan resourcefully, creatively and energetically with clear eyes on this reality.

I don't get how...

they can use "Christian" and "Science" in the same title.

'Cause there's a monster on the loose

wow

good point I dont know any Christian engineers, architects, doctors etc...

this is sarcasm.

actually

I never thought about it before, but almost all the architects and engineers I know are Christian. Weird. Although, I don't know any doctors, Christian or otherwise. Does Ron Paul count? If so, that's one, I guess. :)

The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance; which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and the punishment of his guilt

The source?

I wonder what the source of that comment was that Ron Paul admits he can't win. I just saw the article reprinted through yahoo. I know I am preaching to the crowd, but it disturbs me that we are fed propaganda. It makes me question a lot of the other "news".

We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

There is no longer

a point to make. It has been made and then some.

Shoddy journalism. She took an idea from the last cycle and a quote from RP's e-mail appeal this time around.

And obviously there is no one to edit or fact check.

I have a feeling she will get the message when a few RP supporters set her straight. :-)

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.
Ron Paul - The Revolution

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

Yeah I don't think he's ever

assented to that. I think he might have acknowledged it's improbable, but not that he just can't win it.

Dr. Paul is on record as stating he's "in it to win it"

Dr. Paul is on record as stating he's "in it to win it" so what's this CSM bull crap all about?

"Cowards & idiots can come along for the ride but they gotta sit in the back seat!"

I dare say...

That's certainly not the "Christian" thing to be doing [lying].

Hey, lying might be the "Christian Scientist" thing to do

Hey, lying might be the "Christian Scientist" thing to do. (Mary Baker Eddy was one of history's great liars after all.)

"Cowards & idiots can come along for the ride but they gotta sit in the back seat!"

They have many reporters who

They have many reporters who are contributors. Don't assume anything about their religion by association.

Yeah....

I'm sure he could raise $5million in a quarter if he said "I'm not going to win but give me money." This article is ridiculous!
