Boston.com article: Ron Paul in Eaton, NH ~7/1/11

http://www.boston.com/Boston/politicalintelligence/2011/07/r...

also has a short video clip on the right side of the article.

"EATON, N.H. -- Texas Representative Ron Paul, a Republican presidential candidate, raised more than $4.5 million in the current fund-raising quarter, his spokesman Brian Early said yesterday.
...
Paul’s ideology appeals to some. Jack Hancock, 70, an independent voter from Madison, did not vote for Paul in 2008, but is now interested in learning more about him. “I’m completely fed up and consumed and frightened with regard to the direction of our country,” Hancock said. “Paul is a solid conservative guy who knows how to do math and is not afraid to stand out there alone and speak the truth.”

Then there are those like Michael Callis, a liberal Republican stonemason from Conway who held a poster asking Paul, “Do we have to hate our government to be a patriot?” “People like Paul … make it sound like government is some kind of demon,” Callis said."

Boy...Michael Callis sure missed the boat on that statement.

Mr Paul does not espress HATE for the gov...neither do patriots. But I must admit to a tad of anger towards those who have kidnapped it !!!

I am just dumbfounded by that statement.

Mr. Callis being a stoneMASON

Mr. Callis being a stoneMASON should explain everything about this guy's point of view.

Witty, but wait...

A stonemason, a man trained to construct brick and stone walls, could understand that he could both love and fence in his watchdog. A Civil engineer isn't necessarily polite, why be glib and insult a man because of the letters in his chosen profession when you need to change his mind and get his vote?

I'll take my Liberty, it's not yours to give.

This might be due

to some of those more rowdy looking Tea Party type rallies shown on t.v.

This guy must think Ron Paul is a source of that.

Boy.

Dumbfounded is right. Fer cryin' out loud, just where does this guy live, anyway? Jeez.

The land of "Live free or if

The land of "Live free or if not get get used to abusive government".
