Let's end the "Revolution"Submitted by djinwa on Tue, 07/05/2011 - 00:44
I am constantly fighting off the accusation that Ron Paul is extreme or a fringe candidate.
I don't think it helps when we are parading down the street with signs declaring a Revolution.
Sure, it makes sense to us, but what about the common man?
Why can't we discuss issues without acting like a backwoods militia?
I would also say the words freedom and liberty are a turnoff. Most people think they are free. They are not worried about liberty, they just want a job with decent pay.
Sure, more liberty might get them that, but they can't make the connection. They aren't in jail and they can say what they want, so they feel free.
