Hey dude with the Ron Paul Peace sign behind Cain - YOU ROCK!!!

I was just watching Faux & they were interviewing Cain. They cut to footage of him on the campaign trail & a guy with a beautiful blue Ron Paul Peace sign stood right in the middle of the shot - BIG AS LIFE!!

I could've died, it was SO COOL. The sign looked WONDERFUL, it's one I haven't seen before. They immediately cut to the studio shot w/Cain, but the damage had been done.
Standing "O" to the guy with the sign - Way to go!!!!

Peace Sign

I was the guy with the Peace sign. Cain supporters tried to pick a fight over my 1st amendment right to do so. I cannot beleive the people that think it is disrespectful to hold up the sign during his speech. This is a man that was Chairman of a FED branch. This was a Tea Party event, which Paul created, and he does not get his time in the spot light.

If we as supporters do not get his name out there his name will not get out there. How much media time does Paul get on an average day? How much does Obama,Romney, Bachman, or Cain get?

When we start doing what we are told as supporters and what is "right" by ways of the establishment, the revolution is over, and the good guys have lost.

I was the designer of that

I was the designer of that sign. I am SO happy to see it being used this way. THANK YOU for holding it high and letting people know they have a choice for peace! You rock!

Islam calls for perpetual war. Ron Paul taking office will not change that.

Sorry. You have been misinformed.

Islam does not call for perpetual war. It follows the same "just war doctrine" as Christianity. Defend from attacks. However, the war on terror does require perpetual war as there is not set enemy, you can not have a war on an emotion, but you can use and emotion to start wars.

Defend Liberty, for Liberty
Vote for President Ron Paul 2012

It will change

whether the U.S. starts wars.

Defend Liberty!

Most people in politics have a God complex.

I love that Ron Paul says he doesn't want to run your life. He believes in freedom, liberty and personal choice. He is a statesman that lives by the constitution. What more could anyone ask for?

Some one that actually

Some one that actually understands that Islam is a threat to the Constitution.

Ron Paul will cut off all funds to the Rockefeller Foundation...

And pretty much put the whole Islamic terrorist panacea into disarray, which is a plenty good start to me.

Bombing everything that looks like a Muslim sure never went anywhere, so might as well cut off the bank spigot.

Winning hearts and minds

Do you think holding up signs at opposing candidate's rallies is a way to win supporters? Do you think that it's respectful?

Let's just take a deep breath and think about this one.

Challenge everything and the path will be clear.

We actually had two tables, one for C4L and one for Ron Paul

We were invited to participate as C4L and subsequently requested 2 tables, one for C4L one for Ron Paul 2012. The organizers told us NO candidate specific tables, however we may distribute our information in the crowd. When we arrived to set up, to the left of the straw poll table was Herman Cain's table. We talked to the powers that be, claimed an additional table, donated an additional $50 and set up for Ron Paul 2012.

The actual theme for the event was "energy independence". The big signs were deployed behind the stage during another speaker's talk on energy independence, simultaneously we gave nearly everyone in attendance an official campaign slim-jim outlining the good doctor's energy policy. before Cain and Bolton spoke. If you watch the official video you will see a C4L flag, and signs throughout the event behind the stage... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59C8knCvVjg&feature=youtu.be

While some of our attendees tend to stir the pot, there is no malice, or bad behavior. The hardcore End the Fed'ers silenced the bullhorns and made their signs the silent protest of the crowd's blind acceptance of political insiders Cain and Bolton.

Incidentally, this is our third year of attending this tea party association's events. For many of the attendees the mindset remains "party over principle". Sometimes having the biggest signs, the largest number of visible supporters, and the most energetic and outspoken supporters at an event can be overwhelming to some...

Lastly, we met many new Ron Paul supporters, made quite a few converts, signed up some future volunteers, had many people agree to give Ron consideration moving forward, and one person apparently got the "ire" of Chairman Cain. http://articles.philly.com/2011-07-05/news/29739107_1_tea-pa...

Being DA to the DA...lol

DA, I am usually with 'ya buddy (not sure what that says about "me"...lol), but I think there is a time to be confrontational...not disrespectful, but confrontational.

In 2008, we simply could not get the air time as the other candidates, so RP's supporters cleverly and resourcefully placed themselves in crowds of the "popular candidates" to put Ron's name out there when the MSM wouldn't give him the time of day.

Now, it is to reclaim the message that "some" are trying to steal (Mitt, Michelle, etc) by claiming "they" are now the Mavericks trying to change Washington. So I cannot fault these folks for showing up with signs, almost as if to add a footnote credit to the "REAL DEAL" they are now seeking to usurp.

But I appreciate you still playing "Devil's Advocate" in true form...lol :-)

I saw that..

We are everywhere.
You know the media doesn't mention Ron Paul so we have to go out and become the nut jobs they portray us as being.
But so what. Where is the passion for goons like...ah..
well...I won't go there out of my false sense of respect for the upcoming LOSER'S.

Herman McCain was flanked, surrounded and out numbered

by Ron Paul supporters and Ron Paul 2012 signs yesterday in Philly on Independence Mall at the "neoconservative" tea party. Recycled 4'x8' signs, the new "Peace" signs, r3VOLution, etc....made the Philly paper, the evening news...Made many RP converts, and we are still waiting for the results of the straw poll...

Here is a random video posted by a Cain lover showing the signs behind. Check out the background and the comments...

And one showing the 4'x8' to the right of the stage as he is introduced as the former Fed Chairman, there was at least one more 4"x8' to the left...

That was

If they hadn't of introduced him as a candidate for the presidency, anyone there would have thought he worked for RP!

Good job!

I'll give as much respect to my elected officials as they give to the Constitution!

Thanks ! For the vid links !!

Wrong Question

What does never having held public office have to do with being a member of the Fed? Silly question.

Never having held public office is a good recommendation for public office, of course. Rand Paul comes to mind.

It doesn't always work out well, but it's understandable that people want someone who is not a politician.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

I guess thats why

Obama is such a great President, right? I mean he was barely a politician having served less that a term in the US Senate, and three terms in the Illinois Senate, which was a part time job as he was a civil rights attorney and a constitutional law teacher at the same time.

This limited exposure to politics - a vitual virgin when it came to the national scene - was what we can attribute to his becoming a great leader among men, right?

OF COURSE I am being facetious.

Actually its ONE of the MANY problems we have with Obama. Since he didn't have much exposure in Washington, having already been earmarked as a Presidential candidate when he was elected to the Senate, and since he spent much of his time in office campaigning - he didn't really have the contacts to have set up his OWN Administration, even if he had HAD any great ideas (which he didn't).

ONE of the reasons he hasn't kept ANY of his campaign promises is that most of his Administration was determined by the powers that be in the Democrat Party. And I would hate to have an inexperienced candidate like Cain have an Administration determined by the NeoCon powers that be in the Republican Party.

Ron Paul, on the other hand, has a LOT of contacts in Washington - people he knows and could count on to follow HIS agenda and not the Party's.

So it doesn't count

as being a politician if you have run for office at least twice and lost? Another little known fact about Mr. Cain. He isn't new to politics. He has just never won an election.
