TIME Poll: The results are in....

and they again discredit us.

In our June 27 issue, we challenged readers to predict the winner of the 2012 GOP nomination, March-madness style. Though mail-in voters overwhelmingly chose Mitt Romney, more online votes were cast for Ron Paul, the apparent result of a well-organized — and passionate — campaign.

ENCOURAGING POLL RESULTS

Of course it is disappointing that the MSN continues to try to marginalize the growing power of the Ron Paul campaign, but it is certainly encouraging to see him win another poll so overwhelmingly. I agree with "gltskline" who wrote that who in bleep would mail in a vote in a sample poll, and, as others wrote, the number would surely be minimal. I believe that bumper stickers is an inexpensive way to demonstrate support for Ron Paul. Check out some websites such as the following, which offer great bumper stickers at rather low prices.

Real freedom fighters never surrender.

I posted this several times in the "Time Poll" threads.

I just saw this poll, Full Page Front Cover TIME Magazine, at the post office!
I ran to a couple on news stands, but this issue is not on the stands yet! BUT WATCH FOR IT!!
We must alert everyone about this and participate in this Mail-in poll.

I think this one is very important!
It will be seen by millions at every check-out line across America!

WE must wake up the Sheeple!

I know our mail-in votes will probably be squashed, by TIME, but at least we'll flood their mail room and their employees will see the truth.

Don't blame the Campaign office!...and frankly I think they have to many more important issues to deal with than chasing a futile effort to prove a foul on the part of Time magazine.
For those of you who are passionate about this particular item, then turn your frustration into ACTION....put your boots on the ground and go duke it out with Time. Remember this is YOUR battle for freedom too! Or you can defect!..like a coward!
Life is a Decision!

What happened to the pie chart !!?

It looked so much more powerfull showing him with more votes then the whole feild combined.

Mail-in votes?

I never saw that option, and why would they run a poll like that? Unless TIME needed a 'backup' plan so they could proudly announce Mitt at least won something out of it.

Real eyes realize real lies

2012, we want our country back

2012 is the year for Ron Paul!

*bingo*

why would they run a poll like that? Unless TIME needed a 'backup' plan so they could proudly announce Mitt at least won something out of it.

Is it just me...

or is there NO way to contact anyone at TIME to complain? I scoured the website for any link to an email, but the only way is to login in as subscriber.

I am hot again about this...I'm serious....something better be done by the official campaign or I am out. I will not fight day in and day out when they are not willing to fight themselves. I have literally almost been in several fistfights because I confronted people on the truth. I talk to everyone I know, and I email every time I see something like this. WHAT is Ron or the staff doing? Don't leave us in the dark..let us know you are fighting with us PLEASE!!

It's now or never...time to hit the streets and spread the truth!

Mail in votes? is this for

Mail in votes? is this for real? Anyone see a hard copy of this rag?

I saw a Hard Copy

I announced this in two other threads.
See my post above.

No kidding

I wonder just how many "mail-in votes" they got?

Breaking news

"It has been discovered that all mail in votes have been traced to a candidate's campaign headquarters. It has furthermore been deduced that this very same candidate's pledged campaign donations have also come from the same location and are shown as estimates because postage deductions had not yet been tallied.

Here's a thought: Let us all MAIL IN our Time mag. subscription cancellations. Yah, I don't have one either. So?

One small problem...

I don't think anybody actually subscribes to TIME.

Well... I'm probably exaggerating. There's gotta be a few thousand dentists who support Ron Paul out there who could cancel and deprive their patients mind-numbing waiting room rags.

There's always Highlights though!

Mail in voters??? Who does

Mail in voters??? Who does that? Must have dropped it off at Post Office on their way to blockbuster while listening to a cassette tape!

Of course Mitt won out of the 20ppl that mailed in a vote. They clearly don't have access to the internet and therefore get their news from a Mitt owned news agency:

They "try" to discredit us...

I think you should add the word "try," above.

They do show the graph which has Ron Paul winning and the mail in vote thing is laughable. Pathetic but this is pretty funny...let's stay upbeat!

Since when is a "well-organized — and passionate — campaign" a bad thing?

No comments section?

I re-wrote that sentence for them...

More online votes were cast for Ron Paul, apparently Romney's un-organized, dis-passionate, campaign didn't match up to Ron Paul's supporters.

;-)

the thing is

lol.... the thing is.... they know how active we are, and that we are watching their EVERY move, i think all the media stations are feeling this because of how hyper aware we all are now, its an amazing thing... there's just too many of us, and like they said, we're organized and passionate : )

lmao

lmao

I have just now received another fine piece

of media bias:
http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5j8abxMJL0...

not one mention of Ron Paul.

Drudge Report is linking to this article!

...they even mention Republican Representative Thaddeus McCotter in this article -- no place for Ron Paul who wrote several books on economic matters...

Maybe Ron Paul didn't "slam" Obama?

My letter to Time: Dear

My letter to Time:

Dear Editor,

I found your results to be deceptive in the way they were reported. Although Ron Paul beat Romney by 20 percentage points, your reporter-Rachel Goldstein chose to start off the results article like this:

"In our June 27 issue, we challenged readers to predict the winner of the 2012 GOP nomination, March-madness style. Though mail-in voters overwhelmingly chose Mitt Romney"

Before even mentioning that Ron Paul solidly beat Romney, she reported Romney won the mail-in vote. Additionally, the bar chart above the article doesn't accurately reflect the 20% win by Paul. In today's world of electronic communication, I can't imagine that there were many snail mail replies. Out of the 33,859 votes, how many were mail-in? I think you owe me and your readers an answer to this question.

Thank You,

Frank McSorley

Do the words

"exercise in futility" mean anything?

Some voters nominated their own candidates. One seemingly straight faced suggestion talked up someone who could "relate to young and old." The nominee? Bozo the Clown.

The headline should read: RON PAUL WINS!!!

"The results are in" is right.

At least they are reporting this great result. That is also a victory...reporting the truth.

If Romney won it outright, he would be on the cover.

He would also get a page or two of coverage. They will probably bury this as a footnote. Frankly it was stupid for Time to run this GOP bracket. They probably thought Romney would run away with it. Also who knows those Romney votes could have been organized.

The bar chart is misleading. If you measure the ratio it implies Ron Paul only got about 13% more votes than Romney, instead of the 57% more he got on the online vote pie chart. If Time was a responsible news magazine they would have used a separate color on the bar chart for online and mail-in votes. The mail-in votes would probably be too few too see, but based on the ratio of the bar charts Romney would have had to receive a few thousand more mail in votes than Ron Paul to come as close as they imply with the bar charts in the article.

If there were no mail-in votes, Ron Paul would have about 18487 votes. Romney would have 11715 votes. Other candidates would have 3657. If you measure the bar charts they imply the final vote was approximately Ron Paul 15720, Romney 13906 and other candidates 4233. Did Time distort the bar chart to make Romney look like he did better than he did? Wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't another MSM trick. If they put the actual vote tallies on the bar chart, they wouldn't get away with it, but they have left it open, since we will not know the mail-in results.

How do we find out how many

How do we find out how many mail-in votes were cast? I'd bet my last FRN it was less than 100.

RON PAUL WON TIME POLL!!! Wuuhooooo!!!

I am really happy to learn Ron Paul WON the poll!!!! I'm ROTFLMAO at Rachel Goldstein counting mailed in letters.. LOL Oh man, they did not expect Ron to win, but hey, looks like we got some credit for being organized? Awesome! I emailed a letter to the editor, asked them to show Ron Paul respect and reminded them that Ron Paul is like peppermint tea, not everyone likes peppermint tea, but the people who like peppermint tea, really really ike peppermint tea. ;))
