GOP Senators sell out

I have to agree with this assessment from a blogger on LewRockwell.

California has a balanced budget amendment. How has that worked out? The only thing of use that congress can do is to cut this year's spending drastically. Any promises about future budgets or new laws can be ignored later. There is only now.

Yes, I'd have to agree

One thing I've learned over the past 4 years is that there's a lot of politics in politics. And it is tiring.

How many times can people go through the spin cycle, thinking things will be different the next time around?

Ditto, and the Judge lays it out more eloquently than anyone...

He always pushes those that say they might vote for a balanced budget amendment for a 10 year program to admit that there will be no restraint for spending over 10 years and most that voted for it will be gone and not held to account. Gotta love the Judge.
