Check out the ignorance of the posts below... the DailyKos readers are mindless sheep to an extent I did not think existed...

Paid Bloggers

Other campaigns use paid bloggers, well known bloggers accept payments from campaigns. Daily Kos would be the top of the list for any dem campaign paid blogger. I would be very surprised if Kos himself was not taking payments.

I am sure he is...

Kos has lost all of his independence... he now a paid corporate hack just like the lot of them...

I thought the Comments at Daily Kos

were particularly viler and hateful. I would say they need our help but I'm not sure anyone can help those deviants. My guess is that a few hate-mongers post frequently and set the tone for the rest. They all sound very racist and bigoted and too far gone for anyone's help. I felt dirty just reading that garbage.

It's like they've been irradiated

and their DNA has been damaged.

Gives new meaning to free radicals, ha!

Wow!

They have got to be the most uninformed, unintelligent people I have seen. It amuses me how people that resort to such baseless name calling are typically the exact words they use. Why would someone want to write there when their own people rip them apart?

Rob, come to the light...

for your own sanity, stay away from those KOS fools!

commend him and give this guy some moral support...

DKos

Many people in the larger DKos community are open minded and critically thinking folks (in a good way), and provide great content.

However, there is a "DKos police" or Kangaroo court over there that enforces a sort-of taboo list of topics which cannot be discussed (unless to endorse the Mainstream Media meme). Anybody who ventures into attempting to have an honest discussion about certain topics are then immediately and viciously slapped-down, in the most juvenile way, by the site's "DKos-police-squad" which foment back a bunch of personal attacks, cheap insults, untrue slander, troll ratings, and postings of cat pictures with tin foil attenna on their head, and shut down any possibility of an honest discussion. This creates a snowball effect and otherwise decent people then begin to disavow any consideration of the topic as well.

If you attempt to defend your position on merits, then they ban you from the site. The list of taboo subjects are arbitrary and unfounded. For example, if someone posted a discussion that was positive about Chuck Hagel, that would be okay. But Ron Paul, nope that is on the blacklist.

They even banned truth-teller, and heroic anti-War activist Cindy Shehan there. I got banned there for a post that was critical of Nancy Pelosi for ensuring that neither Bush or Cheney will ever be prosecuted for anything.

It's both sad and hypocritical, because the site is supposedly about "crashing the gates" and standing up to the Establishment. Some good content exists, but the existence of DKos police-squad shows that they have no true interest in really confronting government (and extra-government) corruption.

Plus the poster was very wrong about RP being "progressive"

Ron Paul is the opposite of progressive, which is a good thing.

Plus, Ron Paul is NOT moving people to the left. Quite the opposite.

Progressive, to me, means "making new laws" so as not to keep the world in the ignorant dark ages that we have been living in so long.

The Koskidz were correct in telling this poster that he was incorrect in that analysis.

However the poster would have been correct in saying that it would be strategically smart to support RP through the primary process and whip up support for a 3rd party run...because that could sink the Republican Party.

Not good enough

Noone with any integrity would stay on a site like that. "They're good people but.....they'll tolerate the KosPolice banning them and hammering them when they say something honest". I think that's BS. One of the reasons I am less a conservative now and more libertarian is just that - I can't stand anyone enforcing a party line to the detriment of honesty. No way. Free Republic at one point decided to send NBC a heap of emails calling for David Gregory to be fired. I thought "Right, that's it. I'm out of here". Not that I ever posted there but now I won't even read it. Not that I did much before.

You're right. It's sad and hypocritical.

"What does conservatism today stand for? It stands for war. It stands for power. It stands for spying, jailing without trial, torture, counterfeiting without limit, and lying from morning to night."

DONT CALL DAILY KOS USERS MINDLESS SHEEP...

Look, these people are just as sincere about their candidates as we are about ours...
How would we react if someone came over here and tried to convert us to voting for Hillary...
See this is just what Ron Paul Preaches that will hopefully get through to the masses - blowback...
Fortunately we are not being invaded by the Daily Kos and visa versa... as the mid-east is being invaded by the USA..

stop and think that they have their right to disagree with Ron Paul... perhaps they will come around...

Yes but the discourse is

Yes but the discourse is rather third grade-ish. One guy is talking about how a turd is flushed and on and on...... I mean jeezus.

No real discussion is taking place with regard to the forum thread about RP. Sad you'd expect to a tad bit better out of people.

Puppets come and puppets go but the world's stage is getting cluttered.

Not literally "Mindless"...

...mind you, but not particularly mannerly either.

"How would we react if someone came over here and tried to convert us to voting for Hillary[?]'

I won't speak for "we" authoritatively, but I expect that we'd point out policy differences, and back them up with evidence -- either policy statements or voting history.

As much as I fear and loathe Mrs Clinton's political objectives, I resist the ad hominem temptations, and am willing to concede that she probably loves her country and her family as much as I love mine. Demonizing your adversaries tends to elevate THEIR stature in relationship to your own,

My thanks to the small minds and mean hearts of DailyKos for reminding us that we are on the cusp of something beautiful, and that a good and gentle man is vastly preferable to great men like Lincoln, Stalin, Hitler, or Roosevelt.

Uh, may I REMIND you... that when I said I would vote Hillary...

over Ghouliani if it were only a race between the two, I was called TROLL, and alot of other names... also told to GET OFF THE BOARD, GET LOST, GO TROLL ELSEWHERE, GO SHOOT YOURSELF... etc. etc. etc..

I still say if its between the two , no way will I vote Hillary (and I cant write in on the Texas ballot machines)

Maybe, but they would need to have an open mind, and they

Maybe, but they would need to have an open mind, and they mostly sound convicted in their distrust of our good doctor. Pretty ironic.

But who knows, I guess any thing's possible.

Ron Pauls ideas are RADICAL...

to most of the older voting people of this country. There is this intense hatred of Demos Vs Repubs that will have to broken down or apart for Ron Paul to win...
After he gets the republican nomination, they we will have to convince the OTHER HALF of the nation that he is not a republican in the modern day sense of the word...
Anything attached to REPUBLICAN is bound to loose in the coming election... with all their deceit, law-breaking, embezzaling, foot-tapping, lying to the american public etc.. the republican party is in shambles....

Ron Paul will have to pull from ALL POLITICAL PARTIES in order to win... we must somehow overcome this distrust... it will not be easy to crack the diehards of both political parties...

Folks who you describe

Are decreasing in numbers. These people are close minded fools and have very minimal ability to use persuasive reasoning other than spouting nincompoop party lines. Party lines are not persuasive, they are weak. The reason the Ron Paul movement is growing is because the reasoning is sound, and in spite of the ignorance that exists, intelligence still beats out ignorance.

The Only Post Worth Reading...

Found one post with common sense.

We Dems are in trouble if Paul gets the nomination. (0 / 0)

Here's why.

I'm a Richardson supporter, and have been for awhile.

Simply put, Paul is the worst case Republican to get the nomination.

It's because he stands the best chance of beating us.

War? He's got us. He's a more credible anti-war candidate.

Immigration? He's got us. He's more credible than anything Dems have put together.

Fiscal policy? He's got us. The man has gone toe-to-toe with the Fed chairman on arcane currency policies - and WON. His ideas for cutting back the overseas commitments and allowing alternative currencies to compete with the dollar are, quite simply, genius.

I hope Paul doesn't get the nomination. No frontrunner Dem has a chance of beating him, only Richardson or Kucinich did - and the DNC threw them on the trash pile.

Puppets come and puppets go but the world's stage is getting cluttered.

Excellent analysis... I

Excellent analysis...

I agree. Ron Paul will beat the Democratic frontrunners. The GOP just has to grow the balls to nominate the doctor.

I don't think I saw that one, thanks! Hopefully we can take solace in the fact that all those people(?) will be voting Democratic in the primaries, or not voting at all.

what a hate-fest

those are some very angry people over at dailykos
after reading all the comments I just feel bad for them.
they are a small group of jealous, confused haters who can't stand the idea that ron paul is gaining support from progressives.
I wouldn't even bother commenting on that site... it will just fuel their fever.
instead, let's all do something constructive, like canvas, write letters, collect signatures and help prepare for the upcoming primaries.
stay positive and don't sink to their level.

Mindless sheeple is right

Wow! Those are some serious Kool Aid drinkers there. They make the neo cons look like free thinkers. Ron Paul is the most Anti-Progressive, Anti-Communist guy running. If they had an IQ of over 15 they would know Ron Paul stands for everything they don't. This would be very funny except it appears they are not joking.

"They make the neo cons look like free thinkers"

boy, are you ever right! That sure has been my experience. I get physically ill talking to them...the most rigid folks in the universe...and to think I used to be liberal.

When you go to the comments section, I feel like I'm in a ghetto sandbox. Even worse than Redstate.

There is definitely a

There is definitely a distinction missing from the mainstream... Conservative v. Liberal just doesn't capture it.. I think it's more Free Thinker v. _____?

What a bunch

of meatheads .

great read

I encourage everyone to read the posts below the article.

Some raise important points and we have to be able to address them convincingly. Visiting hostile forums is an important experience for people who will go door to door canvassing, because it gives them a flavor of what they will be facing and they can better prepare for explaining RP's positions.

Word up...

I'll do you even ONE better.... how good does it feel that we are "fighting" for our freedom, but we are not even really fighting... we are "fighting" with our wallets, with our words, with our voices, and with our computers... That is what has been so awesome...

I talked about it back in April on Facebook, I was a little obsessed with it.... I told everyone how we were in an ideological revolution.... I seriously saw it coming and I knew it was time for it... I am a scientific historian and the one thing that I always remembered was that you don't have to have a bloody revolution to have an ideoglogical one... that is why we will win...

I used to think only Libertarians could be called this. Then I learned about the Republican Party. Geez! I was way wrong! JUST LIKE Paul supporters, they come in all stripes! HAAAAA

The comments

on the page are kinda disheartening. So committed to their prejudices. Their arguments make sense with the assumptions they take. It's the fact that they don't feel compelled to put those assumptions in check and consider different dynamics.

By the way, I assume many know this but I just found out recently. Kos apparently worked for the CiA and admitted it openly recently. That's kinda freaky.

Wow those folks are so

Wow those folks are so detached from reality it's quite amazing. Some of them think society would literally collapse without overbearing government oversight on everything. One fool even said the Saudis would withdraw their investments collapsing the economy.

It's hard to believe that people are this stupid. Kind of gives one insight as to why the founders originally only allowed property owners to vote.

As for the comments... THEY were nuts... imho
