Should Ron run under Ronald Paul instead of Ron Paul?

I know this seems stupid, and I'll probably receive a lot of hate from this but I think it would be an effective tool.

The populace voted merely on identity and not policy, so have Ron run as Ronald Paul. This might stimulate the brain to identify with Ronald Reagan. What do you guys think?

This might stimulate the brain...

If that works, add the following:

Hope Ron Paul, The First.

Regarding Palin: I believe we are watching in real time the rise of the third party, which will be controlled by the powers that be from its' inception.

My fear would be that Ronald McDonald might get into the race.

How about.....

We try to get the Republocrat stooges to realize Reagan capitulated to the Neocons.

I know....they are too asleep. I can always dream.

Much like Popeye, he is what he is.

While this campaign may well be "A Trivial Comedy for Serious People", it nevertheless portends serious consequences for all people. After spending decades on burnishing the "Ron Paul" brand, why should The Good Doctor jettison all that in favor of a Ronald McDonald (or Ronald McReagan, or Scott Jacoby, or any other clown) association?

Ron Paul is branded,

everyone I know, even those who won't support him know him as Ron Paul. Running under Ronald wouldn't do him any good.

Good Point.

Good Point.

I Like It!

The stupid Republicans are so infatuated with "Ronald" Reagan --despite him quadrulpling the deficit, widening the gap between the rich & poor (both a byproduct of "trickle-down" economics), trading ARMS to IRAN (which was treasonous), appointing CIA shyster George H.W. Bush as his V.P., and engaging in illegal CIA-violence in South America-- that they would fall over backwards to have yet another "Ronald" back in the White House.

Maybe Paul should lightly color his hair just a bit too, so that he does not appear as "too old".

Face it, we live in a very superficial and dumb Country.

Come on dude...

Name recognition is everything...you don't spend a whole carrer forging a name and then CHANGE IT !!!

This is either very infantile or ia another attempt to "detour" what is successful.

Only if we can simultaneously get Romney to run as Willard!

Only if we can simultaneously get Romney to run as Willard!

Then we can benefit with Dr. Paul being associated with Ronald Reagan, while Romney will be associated with a rat-loving sociopath.
