A Ron Paul caller called in and was arrogant and attacked voters for other candidates - it made us look badly. This forum has plenty of these types, who attack, and make outlandish statements. Do they not realize the whole world is watching dailypaul?
Frank was able to use the rude behavior of the RP person to act like he was above the fray and dignified. And anyone would have done the same thing.
The dailypaul should be a dignified place of helping get Ron Paul elected. It could then serve as a guide so that others would be diginified when they support RP to the world.
Also, I wonder about the Frank Lutz methods. He only allows undecided voters into his focus groups. These would be people who have been listening to the neocon viewpoint all this time. It took me and others I know time to process what RP is saying - its not a sound bite.
So when Frank asks them to turn the dial they are simply responding to the sound bite of the moment and showing how much they agree with what the candidate is saying.
Since Ron Pauls views take time to process - its called 'reason' :) it stands to reason that he would not be approved .
And thats the reason RP does not do well on the Frank Lutz show.
Back to politeness: Please be polite. Stop calling other voters morons and the like. (we heard you San Diego) you are turning off future Ron Paul voters and making it harder to get him elected. The same for those who post on DP in CAPS or !!!! exclamation points or who are truthers or trolls.
Who cares about "rude"...

He may be making a point that that's what happened in this instance. I have found the vast majority of Paul supporters to be intelligent and well read. Odds are against this caller being a Paul supporter.

The graphs are on how they "feel" not on if they agree. In other words they could 100% agree with what is being said but It doesn't make them feel good. So saying America is going bankrupt would give a low rating.

Uhh...what a supposed supporter did is no more proof than if one of us were to call in and act like an asshole while (seemingly) promoting Huckabee. It's not a bad idea to remind people to behave themselves and not alienate the rest of America, but never lose your skepticism. It's extremely healthy and even necessary for thinking people.

Luntz has used biased political campaigners in his so called "undecided" voter pools on fox. If I can dig up the clip I'll put it here. There was a guy who criticized Ron from the debates in October who was in fact a republican neocon supporter that Luntz put into his polling group.

I see a familiar theme
As a pastor, I like to remind people that Christians are under a microscope with everyone waiting for them to fail. In fact, there is a saying out there..."the greatest cause for atheism, is Christians."
The same holds true for Ron Paul supporters. We need to understand that we are being watched very closely by the public and the media. Whoever that was on CSPAN this AM is causing people to become Republicrats and choose their candidate from what the Old Media is telling them to choose from.
This is no longer a fledgling campaign. We need to step up the professionalism and be prepared to answer any question.
I get angry too...how can we help it. But, for many of the non-Paul people, they simply do not get it. It is like trying to describe the color red to a blind man.

Luntz is an asshat. I can't stand him. It can be difficult to not be arrogant / frustrated sometimes when you realize just how many ignorant sheeple are out there, that frankly, we are trying to save from themselves.
But, I agree, we need to fight that urge and always be respectful and sensitive to the fact that any emotion is likely to be used against us and therefore counter-productive.

Frank Luntz is a propogandist tool, who knows the ways the select 25 were acquired in that room and who knows what they were told before Luntz tries to discredit the text message poll Fox had.
Video is taken from Penn + Teller Bullshit: Numbers. Frank tells them how he can manipulate what people think by simply asking the right question the right way. Based on the final clip it sounds like he's pro-Hillary.
If we want a Republican that can actually win against Hillary or Obama we need Ron Paul!
Every time you see a poll that was 'scientifically selected' keep in mind that the questions themselves may be biased and that Ron Paul would actually poll higher if it was issue based, not name recognition based.
