Blimp in Central FL, 12/30 - 1/9/08

Everyone has a relative in Florida. Will people get the word out? Anyone know if there are any events planned in addition to reporters hitching rides for local news programs?

I'm so sick of nat'l broadcasts saying that Julie-Annie expects to win FL. The 11/28 FL Straw poll sure didn't show that. FL has 112 delegates. I think they are winner-take-all. Anyone have ideas for capitalizing on the blimp to deny him these FL delegates?

I think the blimp could singlehandedly turn FL for Paul!
It's going to be great!

winner take all, but, we were stripped of half our delegates
Just so that you know, because we moved our Primary up before Feb 5th, the RNC stripped us of half our delegates.
Does anyone know the mechanics of this?
Say I'm a FL delegate...Do I have 1/2 a vote, or is there some sort of lottery system to determine if I get 1 vote or 0, or is there some *other* system to make this choice? It's very odd. I suspect it'll be door number 3, with party bigwig insiders working against us and for bigger-government, as usual.

Might be delayed...
...a day or two. The blimp was supposed to lift off at 8AM today, but there's heavy rain and 30+ mph winds in Elizabeth City, NC today.
I live in Central Florida
....and can't wait for the blimp to come and wake up my territory !!!:):)

Walt Disney World.
It is not a political event but swing by there. St. Augustine, Daytona Beach, then down the Gold Coast ( West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami) and Key West. Should be nothing but turistas, this time of year. Then there are all the retirees on the west coast of Florida, lots of Republican votes. Just send it down the beach to a half-mile inland, vast numbers of people in that area. Lots of local news stories.
They need to hit the east coast
(Especially Brevard county, please!!) rather than trying to fly straight from Jax to Orlando. Fly down to Melbourne, then back up I95 and over on 528 to Orlando for the most eyeballs. :) I can't wait to see it.
