MY GOD - Meet the Press converted Sister and Bro-in-law to Paul...

Over the past few months, I've sent out emails and links to many friends and family, but few, if any, converted. When, however, I take the time to sit together with them in front of a computer and walk them through some youtube videos, many of them convert easily. I think most people are just apathetic and get interested only when someone presents them with real face-to-face time that highlights the issues and explains the contrasting positions of the various candidates.

As in your case, It seems the more they also hear from other people (their peers), the more inclined they are to open their minds. Not looking good for me so far, but still trying to lead to water.

I think I've mostly converted my dad! He's a lifelong Republican and retired Air Force--and he's very opposed to the war! I talked to him for a while earlier on the phone and told him I'll send a DVD about Ron (I've written 400 letters to Iowans for him so far, so we are on a first name basis now LOL).

As he lives in Nevada, his vote in caucus will go a long way since it's an early state. We'll need to work on my mom (lifelong Republican that says she'll vote for Hillary because of her plumbing *sheesh*). My angle with her will be that she can't vote in the Democratic caucus because she's a registered Republican, so she might as well vote for her favorite Republican just in case Hillary loses the general election (oh, horror!)

Awesome! I think what makes Ron Paul come across well is when he is asked a question he jumps right in and knows the answer there is no hesitation. He doesn't have to worry about what lie he told previously and if he'll get it right this time. That confidence and honesty comes through.

Occasionally he fumbles for a word but its not because he is doesn't know the answer it's because he can't speak all the information as fast as he's thinking it however he always manages to get the thought out and this shows his smarts and really isn't a negative.

The only bad things I hear about him are from neocon haters and pundits who would call him names even if he cured cancer.

A friend of my wife, Crystal, dropped off a load of firewood the other day and we talked about Ron Paul (she hadn't heard of him). She seemed pretty excited about him when she left. Well, yesterday another friend of my wife called asking who the h#ll is Ron Paul. Crystal had told her all about Ron Paul and told her to call us because we could explain his positions better than she could. So, Freedom does spread like wildfire once you spark the match.

Today, all the family we had over to the house was already Ron Paul converted months ago... but did convince 2 of them how important voting in the primary is. The others know. We all talked to them about it and let them know if they needed a ride or something we would gladly bring them with us to vote. It was a Ron Paul Christmas here at my house - I think everyone got and gave Ron Paul shirts, hats, sweatshirts. Great Time.

It's getting late in the day...

I was at my friends house on Christmas eve... a houseful of democrats. One said he saw the MTP interview and was really impressed with Dr. Paul... esp the civil war discussion. Another said "I'd be okay with him" and my girlfriends sister said she'd vote for him for me. I'll take it!

It's always good to hear these kind of stories. I think the majority of people who have open minds just need to hear him speak.

The show backfired on Russert and I'm sure his handlers were gritting their teeth. Russert looked like a fool questioning Ron Paul in that manner. Doesn't he realize he was questioning our future president? It was disrespectful to say the least. Once again the Teflon Ron wins a battle against another establishment media shill.

For 23 years I have assisted folks in escaping to Costa Rica...now I'm working to educate these ex-pats about Ron Paul and his promise to all Americans of a return to constitutional law & personal freedom.

Several months ago many hadn't yet heard of him...some had but were not fully aware of his "constitution first" platform. We'll I took care of that in a hurry by making him the focal point of our conversations
BUT...
Now things have changed and most of the folks who contact me in search of relocation information or in search of property do know about the kind Dr. and need little encouragement before divulging their admiration and respect for his message.

There are nearly 20,000 North Americans retired here and it would be nice to capture this important offshore vote if possible.

Maybe the campains first overseas event...something like,

I know some people complained about MTP interview, but I thought it was great and i have seen it 10 times now. I laugh every time he laughs at Tim and brushes him away telling him he is confused..LOL

I heard something at the in-laws, that shocked me. We were opening presents, and my 33 year old brother-in-law,(after I said, vote for Ron Paul...out of the blue..forgot what he said prior to this..sorry)....
and he said' yeah,Ron Paul's a good guy( and I think he said he would be a good president.... we had tons of people talking at the same time, in one small room, and he was 15 ft away).
I said something akin to " Yeah, I checked out all the people running, and he is the most honest".
Then we dropped the talk , because it was upsetting his parents/my-inlaws...die hard Democrats!
That was a shock, because , A) my bil is in a Union, and B) He always voted Democrat in the past.

I think he's got the message, so I won't push him.

I expect him to vote RP in March(and he doesn't have to switch parties, iirc, because we have an Open Primary).

Something's going on when this guy mention Ron Paul is ok(right after I said"vote for Ron Paul"...he was mentioning high prices of medical, and taxes...iirc).

or maybe X 100,000 OK, I think I get this exponential thing now. Thanks, Beck, Russert, Kristol, etc. HAAAAAA!

I showed him all the other videos on You Tube the night before to my Dad, and they pretty much converted him to a Ron Paul supporter. But then he watched the MTP interview and I think it helped confirm it for him.

Yes he's a life long Republican, just as I am. Although that will change if Ron Paul is not elected.
