I am glad that Ron Paul made

I am glad that Ron Paul made John McCain look like a grumpy old man who does not like kids running on his lawn. McCain looks pathetic. Why was this troll not voted out of office last year? was it a poor candidate opposing him in the primary? was it Sarah Palin's endorsement that saved him?

I ran into Jeff Toobin, a CNN talking-statist, right outside CNN's studio at 8pm. He was heading in and would later appear on Cooper's show.

I stood next to him, unnoticed, and chanted "more Ron Paul, more Ron Paul, give us more Ron Paul, we need more Ron Paul..." in his ear.

He turned around and said, "you know, no one has the fervent support he has, but it doesn't translate into votes".

I replied, "that was then, this is four years later, and he's bigger now. Besides, it's hard to get votes when the mainstream media ignores or marginalizes him. And you guys are fairer to him than FOX. He can't even get on O'Reilly or Hannity."

He played dumb and walked away. Funny that the good doctor would be on CNN a bit later.

It is noteworthy that in the statist cesspool that is CNN Ron Paul has been something of a "go-to" for Anderson Cooper in recent months.

"Doesn't translate into votes"...

and the MSM makes sure of it.

Sorry troll McC's angry, screaming, blaming game VS

Dr. Ron Paul, the statesman prophet, keeping the 30 years' consistent voting record clean and clear for everybody to see.

The proud father of Dr. Rand Paul, the co-sponsor of Connie Mack "Hobbit" Penny Plan, which actually BALANCES the budget in eight years.

"I Hope I Don't Sound That Angry"

That is what makes him a statesmen and amazing leader. On rare occasions I am angry and people can hear it. He is amazingly disciplined and/or at peace.

Yes, this trait I admire about Dr. Paul the most.

He is such a gentleman, a wise "Ben Franklin" with the wisdom of the great ones. Truly an American hero.

May God bless and protect him.

Great interview - even if chopped up.

Some think he looks tired - but even if he is - his calm demeanor is a huge confidence builder in the eyes of the potential convert.

The couple of interviews I've seen of him today are some of the best ever. We have to look at this through the eyes of the Easter and Christmas congregations and what they hear may make them Sunday regulars.

Ron Paul is just SOOO dang

Ron Paul is just SOOO dang WISE..Love him!

Government Fast?

Other than one apparent stumble at the beginning where I thought Ron said $2B instead of $2T, his responses were right on target and clearly delivered. We treasure you, Ron. Thanks for standing up for the "little" people. ;)

A country of drug addicts...and the drug is "free money."

Thank you RP and all the Austrian economists for TRYING to tell everyone that the "default" or correction has to come no matter what...like a heroin addict, nobody will realize, until we hit rock bottom, that the answer is not more heroin.

@519rob...It's tiring for me just to listen to all these interviews...I can't imagine how the good doc feels after telling a million people what the logical answers to our problems are (like he's said before, that a 10 year old could grasp), day after day, for so many years. It must be exhausting. Good on him...I wouldn't have that much will power, talking to these sound-bite hunters.

colbert superpac.com

just watched the colbert report and he wants his viewers to tell him what his superpac should stand for and i put i stand for Ron Paul. i think it would be a good way to build up the blue republicans we got 1 week to hijack his superpac

I don't know what time this

I don't know what time this interview took place, but Dr. Paul seemed tired.

10pm est

Anderson looked genuinely curious for once

And Dr. Paul, like me, you need some sleep!
Keep up the fight...Ready, Ames, Fire!

It's like having a conversation with a stone wall.

And the stone wall is right.
Definition of insanity at its finest.
(paid insanity.. I doubt Anderson is dumb as a post)

i've seen it a thousand times, but i can never tell if these newscasters are completely void of an intelligent thought or if they are playing a game. 5 times RP tried to guide him to the real issue. Each time this vapid Ken Doll steered the conversation back to the "politics" and the behind the scenes gossip. What a waste of man - what is so wrong with talking about the issues? I'll just never understand. RP2012 !!

TV ratings. Hey, the media

TV ratings.

Hey, the media loves the blame game. It's like high school pop culture but with things that are actually really important. Gossip, gossip, gossip.

It was funny that he was trying to get that kind of stuff from Ron Paul though.

When they show the McCain clip

He reads a quote from an article and mentions "The hobbits returning back to middle earth," I could not help but think he was talking about where he should be going because he is the biggest hobbit looking guy in the senate.

Golfball mouth talking about the budget makes about as much sense as Roseanne Barr talking about the edicate of singing the national anthem.

I always said how could Obama lose? He ran against the old angry man that takes your kid's ball away when it goes over the fence and yells at them to get off his lawn.

John McCain needs to go back to the center of the earth and take John Kerry with him.

Do you really want to know how I feel about McCain? haha

McCain's outrage...

All I heard was: "How dare the people speak through their representatives!"

I'd rather be a Ron Paul 'Hobbit' (even if Mc Cain does LOOK ...

more like one), than a troll.....

In Mr. Hobbit McCain's case, another example of "it takes one to know one"! Excellent!

He is doing us favors right now. He is goading the tea partiers start to question "authority". And that plays right into ours and Ron Paul's hands.

. . . and hobbits WIN!

Connie Mack Penny Plan. . . the hobbit penny plan. . . just might be the solution we are all waiting for.

I think Anderson was fishing for something

and he didn't quite get it. He was gentlemanly though, at least here in this interview.

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

I had the same thought

I think he was trying to get him started on what the general public might take as "conspiracy theory". Color me shocked!

Is it me or has Anderson

Is it me or has Anderson Cooper always steered away from having Ron on live? There's always a crappy editing job and you can tell some parts are missing.

While I can't discount that RP has been on recording more than live on AC360, you can't blame the show. RP has what some might call "a tight schedule" if you hadn't noticed, and my guess is that by the time the show aired he was off to do more campaigning...or his daily exercise.

It also wouldn't surprise me that RP thinks his exercise > AC.
