Google Trends Pick-Me-Up

I've been following the Google Trends of the "top tier" candidates for most of this year. Dr. Paul usually was above everyone as we'd all expect but now, according to this graph, he is spiking tremendously even as those others trend down or flatly:

A quick glance at the December graph shows a dip after The Tea Party but he is the only candidate that is trending up again as others trend down:

Just something to smile about as we approach the primaries.

Ron Paul also beats opponent's last names alone

While I don't think many people look for "Paul", I do think many go for "obama" or "giuliani". So I think this graph is closer to the truth:
