Ron Paul calls in to The Savage Nation: 8/4/11

"On Thursday, Rep. Ron Paul called into The Savage Nation to speak with the infamous bestselling author, and TRN's nationally syndicated radio host, Michael Savage about the plunge in the stock market and the weakness of the US economy. I believe this is a first for Dr. Paul- kudos to Savage for having the courage to speak with the one statesman and presidential candidate willing to to restore America's borders, language, and culture!"

Help support the Ron Paul 2012 Podcast. It's awesome!

And please thank Michael Savage: michaelsavage@savage-productions.com

Looks like Savage is coming around...

... hope his listeners give Dr. Paul a chance. All in all, a great interview. :)

"the great representative, Ron Paul" - Michael Savage

This is too good to be true. The Savage, at times, does speak the truth. Not many radio hosts to listen to in NY who are not pro-war, pro-Israel, and who follow Austrian economics so this is really exciting.

Sanity from the Savage while interviewing Ron Paul, listen for yourself.

Emailed him a thank you

that is how you gain friends in this movement, not by picking what Savage has done wrong. This is how we make positive moves forward. Email him a thank you people if you truly know how we can gain ground. Keep up the great work!!!!

glad 2 know anti-semitism is alive and well on daily paul

geez, i was hoping that anti-semticism wasn't as pervasive among dr. paul supporters as i had once suspected but judging from some of these posts i can see it is alive and well.
i thought the message dr. paul represents is about unity and respect for all.
this country is screwed.

Hi marcrogers

Seek and ye shall find, eh?

Ron Paul supporters are people. You know what that means? We don't all agree with each other about everything. About the only thing we all agree on is Ron Paul should be president and we each have our reasons.

I was surprized when I saw Catholics for Ron Paul. There is a number of coalations for Ron Paul the campaign just released. Why not a Jews for Ron Paul or Israelites for Ron Paul? Where's that list? Anyone have it on hand?

Please feel welcome to the rEVOLution marcrogers! I'm proud you are here with us.

Did you receive email from John Tate

of the official campaign? It was titled "Memorandum from Campaign Manager John Tate" and it had a full list of different FaceBook groups include "Jews for Ron Paul" and "Muslims for Ron Paul", etc.

Hi drhayde

YES! That is what I was thinking when I wrote about the coalations, or groups.. being on dail up it takes allot of time to dig up the email to provide the list... also, I remember someone else posted the list on DP, but again, being on dial up, it takes a long time. My typing looks like bars it's so slow... THANK YOU!

So if we don't believe in financially supporting Israel...

... then we are anti-Semites? Since when does Israel deserve a free pass on human rights violations, false flag terrorism and international crimes? What makes Israel so special as to held high on a pedestal above all other people and nations?

If I am considered an anti-semite because I don't want my tax dollars going to Israel then so be it. I couldn't care less. I don't like my tax dollars going to any foreign government so go ahead and label me an anti-worldite for that matter.

I don't like the Israeli government because they are corrupt and brutal. I don't like China's government because they are corrupt and brutal. Hell, I don't even like my government because it is corrupt and brutal.

What really bothers me is that people play this hypocritical "race card" out when anyone opposes Israel. This is the crux of the matter. If someone even speaks a negative word against them then we are to be considered some sort of bigot or racist.

I tell you what... when Israel apologizes for killing an American point blank in the face on the the peace flotilla then maybe I will reconsider my thoughts on it's government.

"The greatest mystery of all is truth." - Me, 2009

once again folks here help reaffirm my apathy

the level of discourse here proves once again that there are too many tribal, primitive types clinging to the paul campaign. sort of like our very own rev. wright contingent.
funny how one rarely hears any criticism of specific countries other than Israel. we've given nearly $20 billion or more to Pakistan in the last few years. never hear anyone call them out by name. however, i always hear Israel.
clearly, i agree with dr. paul's stance on stopping foreign aid. that said, the tolerance of anti-semiticism is unmistakable and disappointing.
also, if you're not an american indian then your an occupier. so, either go back to wherever your family originated or understand you're a hypocrite for living in the most violent, oppressive countries.

You fail to comprehend very simple arguments...

... why is that you only worry about our support for Israel? That seems to be your main concern. As I mentioned I don't like my tax dollars going to ANY FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS!

As I also mentioned I don't like brutal governments as a I gave more than one example including my own country. You are the one provoking here and it's plain to see what your agenda is.

Question for you, has the government of Israel ever done anything unethical, illegal or immoral?

"The greatest mystery of all is truth." - Me, 2009

Sadly Mistaken

The notion that we are somehow occupiers is flat out incorrect. The natives did not lay claim to this land. They did not understand the concept of owning land. They were perfectly happy to share the land with the settlers. It wasn't until the settlers became hostile that the natives reciprocated.

Moreover, 99% of us came to this land a century or two after these acts took place so to place the occupier tag on us is ridiculous.

This of course differs from the situation in Palestine in that the Palestinians have laid claim to the holy land for thousands of years.

You are clearly an Israeli troll who scours the internet to provide defense of the criminal state of Israel. There is nothing tribal about loving our country and those who love it before any other.

Splitting Hairs

I think you are splitting hairs with the whole Native American thing. Yes, they didn't claim it, but...really!??

By the way you proved his point when you labeled him an Israeli troll. He was arguing that there are many on DailyPaul who have an anti-Semitic slant. Some, but not all hide behind the no foreign aid argument. However, most show what they believe about Jews when they start labeling people and use name calling.

I too don't believe in foreign aid to any country, but I am all for individuals sending as much money as they want to support a foreign country. If I had the money to send and I was inclined to send my money to a Middle East country, I would send it to Israel. It would be an easy choice.

Just because I believe he is an Israeli troll does not make me anti-semitic. There are excellent Jews. That proves nothing. Is calling us anti-semitic name calling? Calling us anti-semitic is the name we are called just for opposing those who love Israel more than the U.S. Please send your money to Israel and yourself while your at it.

It is a waste of time to argue with psy-ops operatives.
We know they are out there, and that they are here.

When they reveal themselves, all we need to do is recognize them.

last i checked

Pakistan wasn't committing genocide. Despising Zionism is not antisemitic as Zionist are not Jews.

The Abuse of Greatness is when it disjoins remorse from power. - Shakespeare

you got to be kidding me..

Like the good Dr. and the constitution says, bring our troops home and do not form alliances with other countries. You trade with countries you like and not trade with countries you don't like.

Israel, like Egypt, Syria, Iran, and all the other countries in the middle east need to learn how to get along with each other without the covert help (look up project Ajax or read Confessions from an Economic Hitman by John Perkins) from rogue groups like the CIA, MOSSAD, ISI, etc.

How about PEACE!!!!

Repeal the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and the 16th amendment - sound money for our communities and out of Washington, DC.

You shouldn't judge

You shouldn't judge supporters or a candidate by one bad apple. Also, there are people who post that stuff on purpose to try and make Ron look bad. In a free society, there will be unpleasant people, but you should know Ron paul would never endorse anti-semitism. You, my friend, are grouping us together and that is groupism.

not endorsing anything negative..

how is being against Pro-Israel antisemitism? I am pro US and hope that future generations will have a leg to stand on which is not more DEBT. Giving money to Israel or any other country is not what the founding fathers or the constitution suggested. In fact, it hurts us monetarily and morally.

By giving money to Israel, I hear its over 12 billion when everything is added up (military contracts), we are funding groups like AIPAC who then lobby our politicians to keep the vicious cycle going which promotes more WAR!!!

Ron Paul was for Israel bombing of Iraq's nuclear power facility many years ago while many other congressman shot it down. Why? Let Israel fend for itself without our money and see what happens. Israel will be forced to get along with its neighbors.

Repeal the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and the 16th amendment - sound money for our communities and out of Washington, DC.

one of the reasons i support dr. paul...

is b/c i think he is helping to foster a more tolerant society void of the hate that we've grown accustomed. i just hate when troglodytes jump on his bandwagon and try and drag us back to the dark ages.
that is what happened with the debacle involving the newsletter dr. paul used to publish. bunch of wack jobs got involved and helped create an undeserved stain on the otherwise flawless career/life of dr. paul.
this country is certainly not ready for the liberty msg. and it's upsetting.
dr. paul is too good for the masses.

If these particular so-called

If these particular so-called supporters really cared about Ron, they wouldn't act this way. I would have to say that there are extremists who latch onto every candidate.

For example, many Huckabee supporters wanted to smite people if they didn't accept their religious views. Another example, some McCain supporters were so pro preemptive war, that if you took the non-interventionist view, then you hated the troops. So, you see, it's everywhere.

Not that I don't agree with you, it's just that the whole ism and ist labels are REALLY getting out of control.

Ron Paul says we shouldn't

Ron Paul says we shouldn't get our rights because we belong to a certain group....

I think you missed my point

Like I said, I don't disagree with you, but I wasn't referring to giving special rights to certain groups. Rather, the ism attached to your post. I'm just a bit tired of people throwing ism and ist around because that itself is lumping people into largely arbitrary groups.

Point is, if you disagree with someone, don't be so quick to throw around the ism label.

Where did this unrelated comment come from?

Google "semite". Hint: the Arabs and Hebrews, Jews are a RELIGIOUS group, mostly NON Semitic today. FYI.;)

thanks for reaffirming what i said

so typical of the mindset i was referring to before.

further demonstrates that even the liberty crowd is just as intolerant as the fascists we are trying to fight.

i'm even more apathetic and pessimistic about the future.

8/3: Savage praises RP; 8/4 Savage interviews RP....

positively, almost meekly. Both of these events are unprecedented in the 16-year history of the Michael Savage Show. The fact that these two incredible breakthroughs have occurred back-to-back indicates something very good is happening, IMO.

With this rate of change in Michel Savage, he could be endorsing Ron Paul for President on his very next program. Let's hope, but that may be hoping for too much. What a bunch a free advertizing for Ron Paul, if Savage would only start mentioning and interviewing Ron Paul regularly and in a positive way. We'll see.

I agree

had the exact same thought.

Also have heard Rush admit his change in views (the national debt) from when he was a young man until very recently. He has not (as far as I have heard) mentioned Ron Paul but some of his views are indeed morphing into more Ron Paul-ish things.

I have been trying to get on to his show (good luck) in hopes that I can coax a Pro-Paul comment out of him.

I should do the same with Hannity since I've been on his show and could use that conversation in a good old "Ron told you so." but I just can't listen to him.

c'mon guys...

...I will remove the comment since I was labeled an anti-semite for not trusting Michael Savage or his parent company...whatever~~~~

Don't Fret

Those who have to label people anti-semites are just those who turn a blind eye to what Israel has done to this country. Of course, many of the weak DPers will jump on board because they don't want to be labeled either.

Until we aren't afraid to be labeled and are free to call it as we see it will we truly be free.
