"This attempt to scapegoat folks who recognize that our debt is out of control and that we must change course should not be tolerated," he said in a Monday statement. "They are simply demanding that Washington do its job."

He continued: "We were downgraded because of years of reckless spending, not because concerned Americans demanded we get our finances in order. The Washington establishment has spent us into near default and now a downgrade, and here they are again trying to escape responsibility for their negligence in handling the economy."

We should all send an email or fax to Ms. Bachman, Comrade Obomney, Mr. Pawlenty, et al, and say something like "The best possible thing you could do for America is, at the debate, when you're called on, say, "I'm dropping out of the race and putting my support behind Ron Paul, the one guy who has the backbone to stand up against the establishment and get the country back on track to Liberty."

After leaving a few pro-ron/rand comments I just couldn't put up with their ceaseless fiscal incompetence, blaming the tea party for everything without relying on any reason of course but on the usual name-calling, sophomoric metaphors, and party-line talking points. It's depressing gauging how many out there truly know so very little. Worst is how they blame the messengers (ron, rand & tea party) for speaking truth rather than scapegoating. But if they've mastered anything it's their ability to be snide, base and disingenuous. Sad cases they all are.

I wonder how Dr. Paul put up with this BS for so long and can still smile at people?
This man must really love his country...Maybe its the little kids he does this for. I always thought that about him.
I think he does it all for our kids and his.
anyways,
I am dumbfounded how stupid our populace truly is and what petty concerns they give to priority.

Since the media spin is mainly anti-Republican (and, in particular, anti-Tea Party), I wish he would add:

Does anyone realize that if President Obama ended the senseless wars abroad and brought our troops home like he promised (over and over again!) then we would not be in this mess? The President does not need the approval of congress to bring those troops home! Does President Obama not realize that he had the option to avert the debt crisis by simply keeping his campaign promises? Does President Obama not realize no one can stop him from keeping his promise of bringing the troops home except himself? Do YOU in the media who keep blaming the Tea Party realize this?
