Video: Ron Paul Rips Fellow Texan Rick Perry

Paul Lashes Out at Fellow Texan Perry
by FOX News

At a townhall style meeting in Mason City Iowa, Fox News Chief Political Correspondent Carl Cameron asked Texas Rep. Ron Paul about fellow Lonestar Republican Rick Perry's potential entrance into the race for the GOP presidential nomination.

The three-time presidential candidate blasted the Texas governor as few Republicans ever have.

Why aren't we talking about the massive kidnapping?

In April of 2008 over 400 children were kidnapped by CPS near Waco in that Yearning For Zion raid. Now that elections are around the corner the disgusting prosecution of Jeffs has come to the forefront of news, three years later. Coincidence?

I'm not expecting anyone to defend Jeffs or polygamy or rape or any of those allegations. But I do think it is a sign of cowardice to allow Perry any silence on this massive abuse of power. The tar and feathering of Jeffs can't distract us from the huge crime committed by the officials in Texas three years ago. Perry needs to be called on this one.

Oh yeah. Some review and insight here:

From comments @SF Gate

"I would rather vote for Perry the Platypus than Perry the Governor."

Clearly in line with RP's comments.

Nothing better than ridicule to doom a political campaign

I have Rick Perry's....

I have Rick Perry's mugshot on the Three-Dollar bills in my wallet. Are these bills fake?

Now

Now if you really, really, want to get the mindset changed, use "Blue/Republican" This is the best label I can think of because it gives the ok for either side to vote for him. For some reason, some people just need the "OK" to do what is right. It's that simple; the rest RP can do.

Rick Perry : Snake Oil Salesman; A Friend of Jesus?

Rick Perry is a cheerleader for the same old worthless Domestic and Foreign policies that have bankrupted America..

A Proto - Typical Socio-path. There is no truth in him. I'd feel better with a rattlesnake next to me than him. At least I Know what I would expect if I got too close to that rattlesnake.

When Perry Smiles, he is about to sell you something you don't want...HIM!

The Real Rick Perry Is...

- The governor who doubled our state debt

- The governor who raised taxes and created our income tax with the business tax

- Did not lower taxes

- Supported Vicente Fox when he came to Texas and awarded Perry for hardly doing anything against illegal Mexican immigrants in the state.

- Supports the NAFTA Super Highway

- Got kick backs by big pharma to push the dangerous Gardasil vaccines to young girls

- Went to the globalist Bilderberg Group meeting in Turkey

- Was Al Gore's top campaign manager for Texas in the late 80s

We must educate the public of who Rick Perry really is because an educated public is as powerful as an armed public. We must show how Ron Paul is the true conservative and that Rick Perry, my governor, is a fraud conservative.

I think I would be absolutely

I think I would be absolutely amazed if he was actually against the Patriot Act

scratch that

I KNOW I would be absolutely amazed

"in free market economics we don't worry

about competition, we always worry about expanding the market"
thats why he's my president

does anyone know

where Rick Perry stands on the Patriot Act?

Chase the Bankers Off Our Continent!!

Theocrat

I thought that Palin was extreme in the area of theocracy, but I'd rather have her running inquisitions than Perry or Bachmann or Santorum any time.

No problem if people are proud of their religion and its culture, or if it's a source of strength to them, but Perry et. al. don't understand Paul's point that government has limited purposes and God is not so weak that He needs government enforcers in order to reach His people.

Chronicle reported on it. Wasn't a direct interview with Cameron, although its funny if he claims it was exclusive.

Ends it beautifully, not a typical political attack as reported...

Solid response...Ron's

Solid response...Ron's looking good in the polo shirt too.

I watched the Bachman vid that's linked from that article, haven't spent much time listening to MB but does she always sound like she's talking to a room full of kindergartners? And people actually like that??

Great video - and great caption by the author:

"Ocourse, Dr. Paul fears no one. At an event Wednesday in Mason City, Paul quickly --- and politely -- painted Perry as Mr. Establishment, connected him to Al Gore (we're checking on that) and then said his entry into the race was a tribute to free market principles... as in the more competition, the better. Now THAT is a man on message."

Republicans wont touch

Republicans wont touch anything associated with Al Gore

Once this gets out, Perry's campaign will be over before it starts.

Good to see RP actually taking on these "frontrunners"

Should've mentioned that Perry supported a mandate to force all Texas teenage girls to get the Gardasil injection which was linked to high rates of cervical cancer. Sounds just like the guy this country needs...

Here is my take on the

Here is my take on the presidential election. Obama is Biderberg's boy, they groomed this Manchurian candidate for at least thirty years, likely since he was a teenager. Since he's been so obedient they want to keep him in office as long as possible and get their money's worth out of him. I think this is why we see so many Bilderberg backed Republicans running, Romney, Perry, Cain, Palin, etc. I believe Bilderberg plans on diluting the Republican vote to ensure Obama's re-election. The only fly in the ointment would be Ron Paul winning the nomination. If that should happen Ron Paul's life would be in grave danger because these people never hesitate to bring in their mercenary thugs in the intelligence community to murder anyone that threatens their agenda.

I agree

I really do agree that his life would be in serious danger. Look at what happened in the 60's to the men who championed for the people. JFK dead, RFK dead, MLK dead, Malcolm dead and countless others. I guess that's why there hasn't been a loud voice in decades, they all received the message in the 60's. God forbid if he was assassinated, I don't really see people getting up in arms about it. They didn't do it in the 60's when these men where able to gather larger audiences than todays leaders can.

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius, and a lot of courage, to move in the opposite direction."

Albeewon, you just played a

Albeewon, you just played a chord on my guitar. MY 60's generation got scared into apathy. The killings all scared everyone. At the base of the "hippie" movement was flat out Love and Peace. We were not (most) ready to go out and kill. For any reason. We also had no leader that was not dead. I sometimes wonder if this newer generation is not a meaner and less moral one. They do seem more asleep, however. I just do not know. Please Lord, keep Ron safe. The honest men are found. No need to destroy the City.

Totally NOT Dr Paul's normal

Totally NOT Dr Paul's normal style to mention other candidates by name, but it proves to me he's getting advised by a campaign that's out to WIN IT this time. I know it's uncomfortable Dr Paul, but keep it up. If you don't point out these other candidate's problems, nobody will. The media is clueless.

"he" != "by name"

Ron didn't bring it up, he was asked. And I think his adaptation to this is primarily "lump all opponents as status quo", which is completely true.

But even "he" is more specific than he used to be.

"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it."

This is what I posted:

I hope when Ron Paul answered that POS Carl Cameron, that he accidentally, on purpose, sprayed spit all over him! We'll never forget your snide, despicable question to Ron as to whether he was "qualified to run for president." Your disrespect of the good doctor made you a target forever Cameron! I fart in your general direction!!
