Meet The Press: Whadda Bunch of Knuckleheads

by Paul Mulshine /NJ Star Ledger

I just turned off "Meet the Press."

This was the single most extreme example of cluelessness in general and liberal media bias in particular that I have ever witnessed.

The subject was yesterday's Iowa Straw Poll, in which Michele Bachmann finished in a statistical dead heat with Ron Paul.

Yet these bozos yapped on for half an hour without mentioning Paul, except in passing. They went on at great length about Bachmann and even Tim Pawlenty, her fellow Minnesotan who finished way back in the pack and dropped out of the race. But hardly a word about the Texas congressman.

They are stupid!

Ever see Wolf Blitzer on Jeopardy?

This morning, Chris Wallace was in the Iowa Cyclones stadium & he clearly called them the Iowa "Cyclowns."
Can you believe that?

Some days you just feel like being in a mob......

I especially agree with the ending of the OP post

which states that they aren't idiots, and that they know what they are doing.

I always try to harp on that fact.
They are NOT stupid. Stupidity would get something right part of the time, just by chance. Everybody is giving them an excuse by calling them stupid.
They are not stupid, they are EVIL.

Yeah, they know exactly what they are doing

It's like the pretense that none of these people can grasp the concept of blowback!

Gimmee a break, they get it allright..they know it's integral to support the need for the MIC . They understand it and they manufacture it.
Fear is the new economy..quite lucrative..especially for all the congress that recieve money for propagating and personally invest/gain from it.

This is what I've posted on a bunch of sites today:

Bachmann was all over the print & electronic media being interviewed for this win. Sure didn't see that when Ron Paul won in NOLA, and CPAC. They also interviewed other candidates who didn't approach Paul's numbers, but not Paul. Why is that? Is the media SELECTING our next president? I guess so by the way Perry is King & Bachmann is Queen. BTW, we don't have a monarchy & if the media doesn't stop it, the serfs are going to rise up!

PS: In case you have forgotten, there are more registered democrats than republicans in this country. For the republicans to have half a chance, they have to attract unhappy dems, conservatives, libertarians, independents, Green Party, and Ralph Nadar. RON PAUL is the only republican who can do that. The rest are anathema.

I think the neocon branch

of the Republican party, at least at the top, would silently rather have Obama win again rather than have Dr. Paul for president. After all he has continued to follow there agenda pretty well, and they would tremble at the REAL change Ron Paul would bring.

There is only one party. The

There is only one party. The rest is theater to confuse us and sell us two halves so we can fight over which half is more important. Ron Paul sells us both halves, i.e. the whole.

Don't get fooled by the two-party theater. Look at the phony debt ceiling debate. At the top they are one. The people we see are running nothing. They are just puppets, hiding the true rulers who are ruling us from the shadows.

I am sure you're right. And

I am sure you're right. And it's not even silent in many cases. Many of them would even have Obama over Bachman or Palin.

Maybe that's their goal. MSM

Maybe that's their goal. MSM are so liberally biased that Republican objectivity is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN with MSM...at least not where Ron Paul is concerned still.

We should accumulate these slights and start writing to PBS about this violation of the public's trust by the media. PBS should be glad to do an expose' on this failure of the media and the public's right to know.

After all, how can we have democracy without an informed electorate? Plus, they need "support from viewers like us."

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

I seriously doubt a truly

I seriously doubt a truly informed electorate would put up with "democracy" for very long.

Anyway, Meet the Press is pretty much the holiest of the holy of progressive propaganda outlets. There's not a single anybody at PBS who wouldn't happily kill his own unborn child, then brag about it for progtard credit, for a shot at a job there.

The small amount of attention Ron has been getting from Big Progressive (that'd be non Fox) media, was only due to them perceiving him as chanceless, and hence useful for diverting attention away from more realistic GOP candidates.

Once Ron became a threat to the Libs himself, of course they're going to do everything in their power to prevent him from winning.

Everybody knows...

The fix is in.

Yes, but good article pointing out the bias

I appreciate seeing the writers that stand up and point it out. Good one to pass along.
