Two minutes given to R.P. on ABC's This Week

The last two minutes of this web portion was spent talking about Ron Paul. Of special note to Michigan residents, was the mention of the speech in Ann Arbor (which I spoke at)and can attest to the burning of Fed notes by the students and attendees. Begins around minute six.

They just don't want the war

They just don't want the war gravy train to ever stop. Because when it finally does, they will have to pay the price for all the lies they've told and lives they've destroyed.

HAHAHAHA! That dog was great!

That dog had me crackin up big time!

Does anyone still watch this crap?

What the hell is Laura doing on ABC? lol

Rino alert !

Dry Bones

The dog just picked up on a bunch of "dry bones" and came on over to check 'em out...lol ;-)

Any ideas about pushback at the media?

Thank you for posting this video. The part about Ron Paul was interesting - and it's intriguing that hundreds of students turned out on a cold night to talk about the Federal Reserve, especially in light of your footnote that the students were burning Fed notes!

Also interesting was something toward the first of the video - the woman on the right was talking about why Tim Pawlenty withdrew and said that "the oxygen was sucked out of the air here by Bachmann, Perry, and Romney(!). Is everyone just insane? They relegated Ron Paul to the end of the discussion like he was a freaky, inexplicable footnote to the real politics of the day.
The Oklahoma City Ron Paul group is meeting this week to discuss ways to push back at the media. Any ideas?

I'm kind of drawn to the burning of Fed notes, which is new to me. One problem is that people are broke, but on the other hand brochures, DVD's and signs cost more than 1$ and we hand those out.

Can you tell me more about the Fed note buring episode?

"web exclusive"

The broadcast MSM has learned to only talk about Ron Paul in "web exclusive" segments.

Here's my summary of the Sunday morning shows ignoring RP:

George Will

presented Ron Paul as being obscure because of his interest in the federal reserve and heroin. But I'm in California and talk to people all the time and am amazed how many people (left and right) are against the fed (much more dramatic than last go-around). Also, the legalizing drug issue is getting more and more popular. My point is that the most obscure things they can think about aren't really that strange to the mainstream.

Also, if you think about the Ron Paul support by democrats and independents, he would beat any other republican by a lot, mostly because of the war issue.

So I think this time we have a legitimate shot despite the media, who are looking more ridiculous in their motions to squash him.

I can't believe Laura...

saying that Rand Paul is the one who brought momentum to Ames!!! Rand Paul would be completely irrelevant if it weren't for his dad. Any momentum he has is a small percentage of that of his father's...imo.

Ron then Rand, Not the Other Way

What you saw was co-opting. The process started when Rand was campaigning. They're ingratiating themselves to put pressure on him to act how they want him to, a constant reminder they mold public opinion, that they helped him to where he is and they can help remove him, which probably won't happen. They'd prefer games, anything to destroy freedom, particularly in an intimate setting and especially for people who are perceptive.

Effusive behavior usually is a part of deception. The unattentive person won't recognize the effusion to be anything other than what he sees. Because they praise Rand, they have to qualify it enough to keep distance but not too much distance between him and his father presently.

That difference serves a purpose: at least gives the perception Rand appears acceptable to the masses (more than his father), thereby diverting attention from his father to him, creating anticipation, an anticaption for him when he runs for president that of course would be false. This qualification, one that is often said, is a transition that corrals the masses back to where they were so that there'll be more, much more, distance between Rand and his father, the touchstone of liberty, when Rand's time comes to run for president.

The ends are being played against each other. This "play" destroys the middle then the ends or the ends and the middle simultaneously. The ends of course are son and father and the middle, which includes "them," will be the country and everything else except them when catastrophe strikes and when they bail -- so they think.

heroin? That's all people can

heroin? That's all people can talk about. George Will has been pretty good at giving RP his props, but his comment about RP having a ceiling of support needs to be proven wrong. Unfortunately, we are battling media perception and comments like the heroin comment. RP is just too honest for politics.

It's a glass ceiling created by the media.

It was just shattered at straw poll.

His name will creep into more and more MSM stories. If the trend continues, by the time Bachmann has her first nervous breakdown on stage in a debate, Dr. Paul will be up to Tim Pawlenty status in media coverage. Is that too much too hope for?

Once that threshold is reached, all bets are off. They can not contain him.

Ron Paul ad?

I think we should make a Ron Paul TV ad that includes them bashing RP and then shows the RON PAUL DOG run in to teach them some fresh ideas about politics. I love the RON PAUL DOG.

I am Ron Paul

Ron Paul Dog

I like that idea, Dave7: Ron Paul Dog.

THAT'S IT!!!!!

Let's have him at every event. His name can be Be Free!!

I am Ron Paul

Yes, we need "Dogs for Ron Paul"

and we can combine it with 'operation sh*tstorm 2012'

This sounds really good !!

There must be more dogs than humans in the US today lol....and the majority of them have owners :)

The most significant thing was the way she looked at us when she spoke about Ron Paul. It was the only time the talking heads really addressed the camera.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

Hahahha at the dog that comes

Hahahha at the dog that comes in! +10 points for that guys dog

' Two' or '2' banned from the U.S. language!

As of Aug 13, 2011, the number two also known as 2
is no longer to be used. Didn't you get the memo? The mention of 'two' or '2' may now be cause to put you on a terrorist watch list. Also, this changes the previously required 'two minutes of hate' to be changed to three or more.

Repeat after me..it goes like this:
One, three, four, five, six..etc...

"I think we are living in a world of lies: lies that don't even know they are lies, because they are the children and grandchildren of lies." ~ Chris Floyd

The dog showed how wrong these people are.

That is really why they ended it right then.

From One Dog to Another

It'd be interesting to know if that dog is male, because he went right to the brunette woman. And you know what a female dog is called, right?

Yeah, brunette woman, right to you for the business! Try THAT on, a delivery from the core 15%! (Maybe she's considering that 15% to be 50% now that RP Doggy has righted her wrong!) That dog's sniffer is working just fine. lol

ABC is not a news service.

ABC is not a news service. It is just a propaganda outlet. It promotes the same old agenda of undeclared wars, bailouts, inflation and the destruction of our freedoms. Nothing has changed.

ABC, like the rest of mainstream media will continue to support the Establishment candidates, Democrat and Republican, who will continue this agenda. Obama, Bachmann, Gingrich, Romney, Palin and other may speak differently, but when it comes down to voting, they will all get in step. And that's why mainstream media continue to report on them.

Ron Paul on the other hand, is a threat to this agenda.

Thanks for the link. I also

Thanks for the link. I also loved the dog with the Ron Paul collar: the dog was lookin out for RP when he is getting denounced by mainstreamers. To be fair, they were decently fair to RP though, at least they acknowledged that no one is talking about him.

I am Ron Paul

but again.....they shrug

but again.....they shrug their shoulders, roll their eyes and with sad relief say he'll nver win the nomination or he isn't presidential material. ARE THESE GUYS SO OBTUSE THAT THEY CAN'T SEE THE GROWING TREND AND SUPPORT? Do they know something the voters don't know? Yet they never explain why they feel that way. What is it? his hair? his consistency? his ethics? his loyalty to to US and its constitution? His ideas??? He is genuine and is resonating with PEOPLE,,, AMERICAN TAX-PAYING PEOPLE??? Do they not like his shoes, his lack of Hollywood grooming or voice tonality?...yet he brings in the people. These guys are so into image and plastic knock-offs, they can't recognize true champions.

I agree

It's because Ron isn't a conformist, he won't follow any established beliefs or groupthink. The media is very reactionary, they keep playing the same tune over and over, until someone keeps pushing and pushing like RP is doing, and in long over due time they will come around to reality. It's because the media doesn't have innovation, but they have their status quo, they have their stability, and they will do everything to keep that stability, but at some time they become so reactionary and so out of touch with reality, that they jump up a plateau to come in contact with reality again. This is basically what happens with government too, which is why limited government is best so as to avoid such a restraint on innovation and progress and growth. It's interesting that the media is so similar in structure to government in this way, probably because of so much government in the media, eh?

I am Ron Paul

When people keep repeating something, it is as much.........

.....to convince themselves it is true, than to convince others. All of these people are getting paid for their opinions, but they are never held accountable when their opinion is wrong. The media realizes that with someone like Paul in charge, honesty in the media will become the norm, and most of them will be jobless.

George Will trying to say there is no Republican Establishment, is like Obama saying "what budget problem?".

G. Will, the "Good" Molder

George Will trying to say there is no Republican Establishment is like Obama saying "What budget problem?"

What's disturbing is that he and probably most "prestigious" media heads have been set in their positions, that they are on high. From there is where the masses can be molded. Watch for Good Ol' Will some day admit there's an Establishment just when it's advantageous to steer the masses on what Establishment means toward, well, the Establishment.
