Anyone remember the Ron Paul/Bruce Lee video?
MONTHS ago (back in summer) someone superimposed Ron's face on Bruce Lee's body from "Enter the Dragon" famous fight sequence, with the faces of Rudy, Mitt, etc on the bad guys.
Can anyone find that? I searched YouTube but can't seem to locate it. That was a GREAT short video that would bring a chuckle to ANYONE watching it :-)

Kane is probably the most badass (and least gay) of all the WWE wrestlers. even back when it was WWF - - and it's probably the most badass endorsement any candidate could get. the WWE crowd is probably one of the least likely crowds to get votes from and Ron has tapped into something wonderful here. I used to love watching WWE. But then they got so militaristic and were always pimping the military.
Considering our military under control of the Neocons are more like King George III's imperial Redcoats, rather than Colonial freedom fighters, I just couldn't stomach it anymore.
But maybe the tide will turn. According to the RP official endorsements page, not only Kane, but Val Venis supports RP. (Ric Flair endorses Huckabee, but who cares about Ric Flair?)
This has ENORMOUS implications. The kind of energy generated by wrestling entertainment is a lot like the passion of the RPR.
Anything that can be done to encourage these heroes of American youth to back the freedom message of RP is well worth the effort.

You know what? I'm in the military and I support Ron Paul... and I will have you know that Ron Paul receives more donations from military members and veterans than any other candidate does. We're not "redcoats" or imperialists. The people in charge are. You go ahead and get your jollies off bashing the military, when the military in fact has a huge block of Ron Paul supporters, okay kiddo?

I never said the military didn't support RP, and I'm ecstatic many in the service do. When you legitimatly defend our country I salute you. But when you illegally engage in preemptive wars, you are part of a military run amuck.

Misguided criticism
gyro, your description of our brave and noble troops is ridiculous. It's one thing to oppose them being there, but you take it way too far. Their job is to defend this country, and that may mean something different than what you or I would hope, but it is certainly not wrong for them to go there and do their duty in the situation they are in.

It is the skill of every tyrant to paint his offense as simple defense. The Bush Gang (Project for a New American Century) has accomplished this quite effectively. Nuremberg tried to abolish this political shell game, but we obviously haven't listened, for preemptive war is now "official policy" for America.
Enough is enough. Until this "official policy" is resoundingly revoked, I make no apology for not supporting those who forcefully carry out our tyrant's commands.

Let's remember what has actually happened in Iraq: we toppled one of the world's most brutal, oppressive, fascist (really fascist), imperialistic (really imperialistic) dictators - Saddam Hussein. We're helping 25 million Iraqis set up a representative government that they have endorsed by voting in 3 elections with turnouts that are greater than WE have here in OUR elections! We're helping the Iraqi people, who by and large are good, decent, peace-loving people, fight against a small number of Islamic extremists who want women, homosexuals, and non-Muslims to be persecuted and murdered, and who hate the idea of democracy because they don't believe that the average citizen is "moral enough" to make any decisions. You may think that none of this is our business and we shouldn't be spending our money and lives over there, but we're not exactly gathering up Iraqis and slaughtering them in gas chambers. I mean, seriously dude...

Honorable calling
I'm glad you support Ron Paul, but regardless of who you support no one here would mean disrespect for the soldiers who've pledged their lives to defend us. These comments are aimed at the misguided civilians who think the military is a tool for economic and political aggrandizement rather than for self-defense.

Funny thing is...
After SEEING this guy on TV and film and then "reading" his words, I have a feeling if I actually heard him in an interview it would seem like a dubbed movie...lol.
