Ron Paul vs. Romney
CPAforRP
Here is what I sent a friend of mine who is a Romney supporter....
"Since you are the only person I know who is supporting Romney I thought I would send you these links to contrast the reactions between Ron Paul and Mitt Romney about what we should do in regards to Pakistan after the assassination of Bhutto. Romney does not actually answer one question ask of him in a seven minute interview. Lots of fluff and double speak. Sorry to say but he seemed quite clueless and evasive."

Ron Paul's comments on the
Ron Paul's comments on the Bhutto assassination were played during NPR's On Point show today. I believe it was his statement from the situation room, regarding puppet governments.
How can you not love his message
With ALL the other candidates out there saying how we have to get involved in this mess, there is one sane voice out there saying "Don't get involved".
Even if I had never heard of Ron Paul, he would be the only one that made sense to me.
tone is important
Although Dr. Paul's policy message might be correct, a tone of compassion would have been both welcome, and...presidential, if you will. I know people who have been deeply offended by the MANNER in which Bush has proceeded, and feel strongly that they will not vote for another brash, unfeeling approach. Benazir Bhutto was an amazing, courageous mother and patriot, and Dr. Paul should acknowledge that. Her death is a tragedy, and causes profound sadness to many fellow human beings, and to her nation, in particular. Whether or not we should intervene is a separate matter, and Dr. Paul's point of view is a worthy one to put forward.

had been removed - others with her have also been removed - do you suppose it is because she said "...killed Osama Bin Ladin". And on Chris Matthews show, guest gave prediction for 2008 and said "thinks we will be in Afghanistan more and will get OBL".
Govt not ready for masses to know he's dead and been dead for 2-3 yrs. Would make people feel too secure if they thought he was already dead.
Anyone have a transcript?
Can't play audio here at work
Hoping for more than the usual stuff
I am hoping for more than the usual "Inside Baseball Horse Race" stuff tomorrow. Ron needs to make sure he explains why his message is getting such a positive reception and that more people are welcome to get on board with a winner!
