Excellent comment!

Liberty is what it's all about, and wars promote the opposite.

Ron Paul: He who's name shall not be mentioned

Is Ron Paul getting a raw deal? The “Daily Show’s” Jon Stewart thinks so.

And so do many fans of the 12-term Texas congressman, who have taken to email and Twitter to vent their frustration that Mr. Paul’s strong, second-place finish in the Iowa straw poll is being largely ignored.

It's going VIRAL -- send to everyone, not just political types

This is comedy. It is funny and appropriate for everyone on the planet, even apolitical non-voters. It is going viral and the video itself is going to be news if he keep the push on.

EVERYONE post to Facebook, your email lists, your blog, etc. Send it to your parents or your kids and your neighbors and your plumber and you boss and your boss' dog!

DO IT NOW!

I sent out a mini bomb!

Everyone join in! Let's cluster bomb the establishment. Make sure to tell those that you send it to, pass it on!

Is this the highest voted up thread on DP ever?

.

Joη's picture

...why yes, yes it is!

/node/top100, narrowly (at the moment) beating the last ad.

"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it." | Up for a game?

Thanks Jon, I forgot about that page.

Though I see at present, the thread has a Positive vote of 293, yet the Top 100 says only 272. I'm guessing there is a delay, but should the script on that page not run as it is requested?

No matter, it still serves the purpose.

Thanks!

Joη's picture

ah good point

though it says "top 100", that page goes through every node with a vote, which isn't a light query, so it'd bog the site down if it recalculated every time someone votes or accessed that page. It recalculates every few hours.

The week & day ones update significantly more often.

"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it." | Up for a game?

Media fraud exposed...Status Quo Blowing up!!!

This will start to wake people up causing a chain reaction that backfires on the MSM.

This Jon Stewart clip is now

This Jon Stewart clip is now on DrudgeReport.com!

Jon Stewart has just given

Jon Stewart has just given Ron Paul the best ad he's ever had!!

Wouldn't it be nice

Wouldn't it be nice if Jon Stewart used this opportunity to hint that MAYBE the msm promotes certain candidates who perpetuate the one party system? I really would Ike for liberals to hear from their hero that Obama is no different than McCain and Bush when looking at the great picture. And I would really like for conservatives to wake up and realize their party, news sources, and overall platform has been commandeered by immoral tough-guys and war profiteers. The candidates are being force fed to the masses on both sides, and then in turn the masses are force fed ideas such as "compromise is healthy" in order to get the worst of both worlds. Knowledge has been stifled by brilliant ignorance and propaganda for too long.

....

Also, thanks Jon. Segment was great!

Facebook Comments...I'm SO proud!

I'm so proud of Ron Paul supporters today.
After reading the simple, honest, positive, grateful responses on Jon Stewart's page, I'm very proud to be a RP supporter today.
No extreme views, no conspiracy stuff, just nice people being supportive of our guy.
NICE JOB, PEOPLE!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!

Thing is

I don't really take issue with Rush, O'reilly, or Hannity because they are just giving their take on events, as misguided as it may be. Bret Bear, Chris Wallace, and that clown from CNN are actually pretending to deliver straight news.

How Many Views Is This Vid Getting ?

Is there any way to know ???

I Have a word for this....

.... BLOWBACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plano TX

Hell yes it is! When will

Hell yes it is! When will they ever learn?

I am currently in the live comments section

Jon Stewart....

just put us in the top tier. Priceless....

9/11 was an inside job .....time to get some answers..RP 2012

This makes me so angry. I

This makes me so angry. I sent this to a bunch of friends on Facebook. It seriously is so messed up. I never was the biggest fan of Stewart but I see he is waking up slowly.

Stewart definitely had an effect

I just saw Bret Baier on Fox looking pretty sheepish and saying they were definitely paying attention to Ron Paul.

LMFAO

Holy Cow. I posted this on

Holy Cow. I posted this on facebook and I see friends sharing and reposting and I had no idea they were sympathetic with RP. It's time to come out of the closet.

plus its damn funny

plus its damn funny

I suggest sending this video

I suggest sending this video to everyone you know that has any interests in politics. Even if they don't like Ron Paul, the fact that there is no subtlety in the propaganda any more ought to grab their attention.

Anyone who actually thinks that the "news" in this country is unbiased needs to see this. Can it be a coincidence that so many mainstream media outlets and the Republican Party leadership ignore and marginalize Ron Paul? I don't think so.

It is obvious to me, and I hope to you, that these "news services" are controlled by the same special interests who control so many of our politicians. It's obvious that they do not control Ron Paul, so they try to stifle his message.

Fortunately, we have the Internet which is not controlled. And now you know why so many of our politicians want to control the Internet. Don't believe the lies about "cybersecurity". It all about controlling the information available to us.

Yep. As I knew it would, this

Yep. As I knew it would, this tactic backfired on MSM BIG time. Thanks to John and (grudgingly) even Cafferty. They may not actually be RP supporters, but they do not like what they see happening, and they decry it. This is the right thing. They are brave.

Zero Hedge now running this top story

I emailed this to Tyler about an hour ago over at Zero Hedge and he is now running it as top story. I am sure he knew about this a few hours ago since the man never sleeps but it already had 10k+ views in 30 mins.
Please go support ZH with traffic and sign up if not already a member it is an economic education site never before seen in media.

Not anymore.

That was short...

Even worse, Drudge replaced it with this headline:

Perry 29%
Romney 18%
Bachmann 13%

I just sent this email to Comedy Central,

Dear Mr. Stewart,

Your show always puts things in our screwed up country in perspective. I just wanted to thank you for the segment you did on Ron Paul being ignored. Regardless of if you like him or not, the sheer number of programs that completely wrote off his successful finish while reporting on lower tier candidates was disgusting. If I may make a suggestion, It would be great if you could do a big segment enlightening everyone of the ridiculous practice every news network has of telling all of us who is electable (ron paul or otherwise) or a viable candidate and who is not before a single vote is cast. This is, I think, one of the biggest problems with our media today.

thanks again,
