Ron Paul may be 'the One,' but here's the rub

Ron Paul's new ad dramatically intones...

“One man has stood apart, stood strong and true. Voting against every tax increase, every unbalanced budget, every time. Standing up to the Washington machine. Guided by principle. Ron Paul, the one who will stop the spending, save the dollar, create jobs, bring peace, the one who will restore liberty. Ron Paul, the one who can beat Obama and Restore America Now.”

It’s all true. “Pit maverick Republican Congressman Ron Paul against President Obama in a hypothetical 2012 election match-up, and the race is – virtually dead even,” (Rassmussen).

But here’s the rub. He will never make it to the whitehouse if we don't become activated. The one devotion you must have, for the next few months, is obtaining the skills necessary for effectively reaching your family and your community--your sphere of influence--with his message of real hope and real change. It’s time to stop spinning our wheels.

If you desire to be a leader in this revolution, I have three steps for you to take, right now.

1. Register with the official campaign as a volunteer.

2. Join your local Meetup group. (None? Start it up!)

3. Open your eyes to the truth about how elections are won.

If you’ve already finished steps 2 and 3, consider registering with us (iroots.org) to be alerted to the training necessary for building effective activism skills and pledge to engage about what is working within your groups...

Just had a party and invited my entire church congregation over

Maybe 70 showed up, including the former mayor of a small town of 40,000 people.

I spoke for thirty minutes on Ron Paul.

My testimony was that to understand Ron Paul's value, you must understand that the Fed Reserve system is a scam. That these bankers are robbing you. That they are enabling the welfare and warfare state.

Anyway, lots said in 30 minutes, but it was received well.

Most were under the spell of the prestitute media to some degree, but everybody respectfully listened.

I provided smoked pork, and brought in some live entertainment.

I will continue to get the word out!

May God bless RP and this movement!

But KNOW this, even if he doesn't win, we MUST get squarely into the Nullification movement, esp by supporting good sheriffs or running to be one!!

LOCAL should be our focus, NOT federal.

The bankers want us focused on the federal level, and look what that has gotten us!

Granted, RP DOES have a chance, but EVEN IF HE WINS, the battle will be won in our own counties. And that should be a thrilling thought to all of us. You can go down and actually meet face to face your sheriff. Do it! You will be glad.

Excellent activism, underdog; and thanks to

radio for the OP information.

Hi radiofriendly

1. Signed up as a volunteer, received a Thank You email, and that's that. Haven't heard a thing in weeks.

2. Meet-up is not for everyone, and after being a Meet-up organizer (I began when it was a free service) my experience in 08 was not worth it. Someone start a Meet-up I mighgt join, but I don't appreicate Meet-up as a company.

3. I learned allot of dirty tricks petitioning for Nader's ballot access and I have no problem employing them.

4. My Ron Paul bumper stickers are the best form of advertizement I know.

Great! I would add "Try to become a delegate"

Win Ron Win

There is no try.

Make that "Become a delegate," Yoda.
