Huckabee calls Ron Paul's stance on Iran "unforgivable"

Did anyone hear the "Huckabee Report" this morning? Mike Huckabee mentioned Jon Stewart's amazing scolding of the national media for failing to cover Ron Paul. Predictably, he went right into war propaganda attack mode because Ron Paul advocates the foreign policy of our founding fathers. He said that Ron's stance was "unforgivable" and to make his segment even more laughable, he went on to say that the staunchest libertarians would be jumping ship if he continued this.

The on demand audio for Wednesday is not up yet, and I doubt it will be until tomorrow. When it is uploaded, you can find it here: http://radio.mikehuckabee.com/

What do you make of this? Good press or bad press? Our State Senator from years back used to say there is no such thing as bad press, but so many confused people out there think Mike Huckabee is as conservative as it gets. I have to admit it really made my blood boil listening to it.

I wouldn't worry about it

Huckabee has a few die hard followers, but I don't think many people are paying much attention to him anymore.

I just saw the video

I watched the video that some one posted of him and Huckabee in their debate and he is a moron. He said, "Even if we lose elections, we should not lose our honor and that is more important to the Republican party." I actually can't believe this man.

huckabee is a lowlife

huckabee is a scumbag who is even scummier than the average scumbag as huckabee USES religion and peoples belief in g-d to twist truth with an end result of the murder of innocent people. Huckabee is a scumbag of the highest order.

The world is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good things is my religion. Thomas Paine, Godfather of the American Revolution

Well, don't sugarcoat it like that.

Tell us what you really think of him.

hilarious

Thanks for the laugh :)

LOL @ Huckabee. At some point

LOL @ Huckabee. At some point we're going to have to wrest control over Jesus back from these profane goofballs. Huck isn't even a useful idiot.

Huckabee and so many others

Huckabee and so many others see only what they want to see. They imagine that we are faced with a choice between Ron Paul's policy of military withdrawal and peaceful coexistence, on the one hand, and an indefinite continuation of the status quo on the other.

This is folly.

Our foreign policy of the last several decades is a large part of what is bankrupting our nation. This policy will change when our national credit card comes back "declined", whether we will it or not.

The important question then becomes whether we want to embark on a more peaceful - and cheaper - policy of our own free will now, while there is time to improve our relationships with the rest of the world - or would we prefer to play the role of "superpower" right up until we are incapable of backing up our bluster, and the foreign nations we have set ourselves against discover just how weak we have become?

Huckabee-Paul debate 2007

One of the best moments in the 2007 debates was when Huckabee challenged Ron Paul. They got into it on stage. This is well worth seeing if you missed it then.

I call FOX's stance on allowing Huckabee to

host a show "unforgivable."

I'm sure Jesus would bomb

I'm sure Jesus would bomb Iran

He wouldn't, but he is quite

He wouldn't, but he is quite useful at getting others to bomb Iran.

Why do you think I pretend to believe? God is quite useful!

Is this the same Huckleberry that...

..as Governor of Arkansas pardoned(granted clemency) to a murderer that, once out of prison, murdered again? Huh. I wonder if the victim's family considered Huckleberry's release of Maurice Clemmons "unforgivable." The Iran/Nuclear bomb fear mongering is amazing. First off, isn't Iran allied with Palestine? Why would Iran want to kill the very people they're standing for and then deal with nuclear fallout clouds blowing around their back door? Also- and please shove this down every neo-con's throat- are they aware of the EASE and relatively cheap cost of purchasing former Soviet warheads and stockpiles on the black market in places like Bulgaria? Vice Magazine did a documentary on this very aspect of how easy it was to buy a black market warhead. You can see it on Netflix 'watch it now'...called something like "Vice Guide to Travel"...I don't recall which episode...but they literally find this guy who has a warhead buried in his mother's garden...and yes they get to see it. The price? Like $2 million bucks. Yup, that's it. If Iran is so gung-ho on setting off dirty bombs(the neo-con rationale-or lack thereof) it would be done far easier and cheaper than building a reactor that will likely be bombed by US/Israeli forces... Alas, Mike the 'good Christian' wants to propagandize the issue and march someone ELSE'S kid off to war for the sake of the undeclared 51st state- Israel. Makes me want to barf all over the place.

Huckabee is right. Look, as

Huckabee is right. Look, as someone who believes in the family, in the community and the traditions that go with that, along with defending life and finite goals of reality, Huckabee is right to criticize Ron. Ron wants to keep the family in tact; Huckabee wants widows and orphans; Ron wants a strong vibrant community; Huckabee sees the upheaval of communities, and the lugubrious sentiments that follow as a plus; Ron evokes a time when the traditional course for America was her prudence and disregard for foreign politics and squabbles; Huckabee, always the progressive, sees America as the Don Quixote of Earth, fighting everyone’s battles, battles which may have zero significance for the home-blooded, but shows the world that war and morality are part of a kinship; Ron, being the nitpicker he is, sees life as that essential jewel bestowed by God and has thus valued life so much that he participates in jubilation by allowing others to witness the life of newborns; Huckabee, that great pro-lifer, turns his cheek when drones drop on pregnant women in foreign countries, for abortion doesn’t matter in war, nor does the sickness, disease, pestilence, and blood-stained ground filled with the limbs and body parts of humans. For these reasons Ron must be stopped. His influence is too dangerous for those who actually believe in civilization.

Huckabee is a war monger, not

Huckabee is a war monger, not a Christian. Real Christians will fight just wars that are unavoidable but don't go around looking for wars to start.

there are some people whose religion is . . .

anti-Islam/pro-Israel. It's an odd kind of religion, because Islam has no intention of hurting them, and Israel has no intention of helping them--

very odd. I used to understand this myself; I was raised with an Israel-centric perspective.

Then I realized, as so many Jews (I'm not a Jew myself, just a 'reformed' Christian Zionist) have come to realize that not everything was as it seemed. We were all being 'taken for a ride'--

In the meantime, it is as hard to get the 'world' to listen to the stories of aggrieved Jews who are tired of being tied to Israel and Christian (or other) Zionists--

as it is to get people to listen to the no-nonsense constitution-centered principles of someone like Dr. Ron Paul--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Some Peoples religion this,

Some peoples religion that. The one thing all religions have in common, is that they're all cults of one sect or another.

the word 'religion' is problematic in itself--

and complicated. What is in a man/woman's heart nobody can take away or give. A person's spiritual understanding belongs to that person.

If a person's heart is good, then religion CAN feed that goodness. If a person's heart is bad, religion may make him/her even worse.

Tricky.

Then *you* get an entire group of people who supposedly all 'believe' the same thing or conform to the same mores . . .--

and within that group will be such diversity that it is frightening to think of labelling anyone.

Also, however, within that group will be those who cling to the culture of the religion, and culture is not necessarily spiritually enlightening. When *you* get that, you get people who will ignorantly, as a group, do something even evil or allow something evil to be done to them.

This is why personal accountability is so very important. With liberty and only with liberty can religion work.

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Hey man,I would like to share this...

I would like to share this with you man. All religions came from one origin. In the beginning it was "Animism" then at the advent of written language came the root of all following religions.

It all originated from one source in the ancient Sumerian texts. So everything that came later was just plagiarism in fact. The beginnings of all religions and law came from this:

http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/ancient/hamcode.asp

Those that try to refute this idea really need to take a few minutes and review the time lines with their own religion. This was long before the Dead sea Scrolls, Hindi, Muhammad, Buddha,Jehovah,Jesus, and those that have came after. Fact.

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

Interesting

I read a bit,but will have to make time later ti delve deeper. thanks!

He has a big audience so it sucks

just because i disagree with him doesn't do much in media speak

How can anyone

trust what a man is saying if he believes that Earth is six thousand years old? 'Staunchest libertarians would jump ship'...please. AIPAC owns the Huckster.

Your science needs help!

I am a staunch Ron Paul supporter and a young earth creationist. The PROOF shows a young earth, not one billions of years old. Ron Paul is a christian so I am sure he believes in creation too. You trust Ron Paul dont you? You are just as bad as the msm when you say things like how can any one be trusted when they believe ... Let people determine their own beliefs and work out their own salvation with fear and trembling before God. Check in to Polonium radio halos or the abject failure of carbon dating...along with the very rational and in your face evidence of a young earth planets and solar system. Dont be closed minded because a college professor told you to be.

It's now or never...time to hit the streets and spread the truth!

Don't presume

that I listen to everything a college professor told me or that I am close minded. I am a Ron Paul supporter after all... Also, don't presume that I don't want people to determine their own beliefs. I do not want the government to endorse any religion nor deny civil rights to the religious. There is no proof whatsoever of creationism, and every argument I've ever heard for it (and I've heard them all) are merely series of infinite regression, dialectical prestidigitation, or junk science.
I would never outlaw religion since that would be a justification of the coercive power of the state, but I will try to persuade all who will listen that theism is bullsh-t.

i've never understood this argument

do you believe dinosaurs existed? we have proof! the la brea tar pits, for example. some of the fossils found date back 40,000 years. if they existed in the young earth theory, where are the writings or cave drawings? not a word or picture available, that i know of.

this is an honest question. does the young earth theory accept dinosaurs as fact?

Yes,

they accept dinosaurs as fact.

thanks for the answer

i'm going to assume it's disbelief in carbon dating that questions the age of the fossils...feel free to correct me if i'm wrong. i don't see how this idea is hurting anyone, but i can't say i agree.

Well, this is off topic, but

Well, this is off topic, but there is no proof whatsoever that the earth is only 6000 years old. There is ample evidence that it is over 4 billion years old. Dating of the oldest minerals on earth, moon rocks, and meteorites are all consistent with a solar system a little older than 4.5 billion years.

Carbon dating is for dating organic matter that was alive relatively recently and is irrelevant for determining the age of the earth.

If anything is unforgivable

it is that war mongering puppet Mike Huckabee calling himself a pastor.

Now THAT is TRUE

No warmonger can EVER be a true christian. If we are to be like Christ, he said to LOVE our enemies. He said that vengeance was HIS and not for us. He said that those who live by the sword DIE BY IT! He said that if His people were of this world they would fight, but we are not of this world, but we are strangers and pilgrims here. We are citizens of another country. This is why people blame all these wars on religion, and yet the TRUE christian doctrine is the complete opposite.

It's now or never...time to hit the streets and spread the truth!
