Prisonplanet and infowars

Because the movement is so entwined with Alex Jones and Paul Watson i'm not able to support it any longer. That's because their vision is fear based. And as some may know fear leads to hatred. I'm not a hatefull person so i don't feel at ease with their vision. I encourage all to reject the way these men operate. The Ron Paul revolution should be love based.

I say farewell to you all. And i sincerly hope you will achieve your peace and liberty. Long live to Love. Let Love rule. Farewell my friends.

Underlying Point is Accurate

I certainly don't see the "intertwining" of Ron Paul with Alex Jones so I don't understand your exodus from the Paul campaign. However, I DO agree that Alex Jones/Prison Planet are THE ENEMY. No question they are disinformation agents of the powers-that-be. No question.

So I suggest we take something from this guy's post - and get AWAY from that Rothschild/Rockefeller stooge, Alex Jones.

What a wonderful way to put it...

He rejects a whole movement because of two websites that have nothing to do with Ron Paul or the Daily Paul...so I guess people like this reject this "movement" and jump on the bandwagon of another candidate, who is guaranteed to be a war candidate...since Ron Paul represents the ONLY peaceful voice in the games. The only other choice is to simply stick your head in the sand I guess...or go with Obama I suppose. Either way, things don't end peacefully.

i like prison planet and infowars...

i like alex jones!

i may not agree with everything he says (kinda like i may not agree with everything you say, tom29) but i like his energy and his bully pulpit for Dr. Paul and the freedom movement

i believe i am smart enough to sift through any news "stories" (whether on lame street or AJ) that don't, how can i say, make the "grade"

Dr. Paul simply speaks to anyone who will listen

I do not see the liberty movement being entwined with Alex Jones. Dr. Paul has simply demonstrated that he is willing to talk to anyone who will listen... Even people who he knows are opposed to him and will try to discredit him. He has enormous courage and conviction.

I do agree with your assessment of Alex Jones. I think of him as a much greater liability than asset. His fear and hate approach is WRONG. But, this is NOT Dr. Pauls approach. That should be glaringly obvious. When you listen to them both, the difference is like day and night.
Dr. Paul is about logic and rationality - and dogged determination.
Jones is absolutely about generating fear and instilling hatred. He appeals to our dangerous primitive emotions.
Don't give in to fear and hate. Fear is the mind killer.

this you?

a big tent

The RP movement is a very big tent. Seems there are always people popping up here suddenly offended to discover that there are gay marriage RP supporters or Bible belt fundamentalists, or atheists, or skin heads or neo nazi types, or white supremacists, pro abortion and anti abortion, even stupid people! Ron Paul always says, "Liberty is popular". It attracts all kinds of people. The country is big enough. We can share freedom without sharing everything. Living in a free country doesn't dilute our own personal beliefs.

Ron Paul doesn't want to impose his personal beliefs on the rest of the population. But we aren't used to that. Everyone else wants to control our lives. We hear calls for constitutional amendments to force one sides views on everyone else. Countless laws and regulations are passed to "protect" us from ourselves. Why are we surprised that people have difficulty trusting liberty?

Tom29, you're quitting the

Tom29, you're quitting the wrong website. DailyPaul.com is NOT infowars.com or prisonplanet.com. You're getting these websites mixed up.

Regarding how you phrased your post, though, it's not the Ron Paul Revolution which is "so entwined with Alex Jones and Paul Watson" (I have no idea who the second guy is) but rather the audience of Alex Jones (and maybe Paul Watson depending on what he does) which is entwined with the Ron Paul Revolution.

In other words, Alex Jones, InfoWars, PrisonPlanet & Paul Watson audiences are all subsets of the Ron Paul Revolution, not the other way around.

It just happens that these people are strong supporters of Ron Paul.

You know who else supports Ron Paul more than all the other GOP candidates combined as well as more than Obama? The US MILITARY.

Are you going to turn your back on the military as well because they support Ron Paul more than any other candidate?

Aside from all that, I suppose I should tell you that while I am on the DailyPaul.com just about every single day for the past few years, I spend some time on InfoWars.com maybe once every month or two and on PrisonPlanet maybe once every two or three months. Boo! I hope I didn't scare you away... ;-)

Last thought: Base your support on PRINCIPLES and you can never go wrong. If you base your support on who else supports the same, well, then, you have an entirely different problem and it has nothing to do with us.

I truly hope that you find a way which enables you to remain a Ron Paul supporter and a supporter of Liberty.

Tom29 proves

ignorance is bliss. Either that or he's a paid plant pretending to be a long time supporter. Haven't checked his profile and won't even try, my browser's going slow and I can't afford to waist my time checking up on the credentials of a likely fake.

I'm not a big Alex Jones fan (really I think he's a good person but I don't buy into a lot of the conspiracy stuff so I tend not to take him too seriously), yet I'm able to support Ron Paul and Austrian economics with full faith. I don't know why Tom29 must lump everything all together. If he doesn't like Alex Jones, he can stop listening to him. I don't listen to him, yet I can still support Ron Paul. One isn't necessary to have the other. Nice "logic" Tom29.

The truth is frightening isn't it...

... I hold no ill will towards anyone who feels as you do but what Alex Jones says is not to instill fear in you. It's to inform you of the horrible reality we find ourselves facing. Yeah he gate angry as we all do. I have nothing but respect for him and all in the Truth Movement.

Alex Jones introduced me to Ron Paul.

Good luck to you. I hope one day you'll understand that Alex Jones was simply telling you the truth and nothing more.

to that!

He introduced Ron and everything else to me to.

Defecting from the Infowar?

The #1 show on the entire internet is now basically, "The Ron Paul Promo Channel", yet Alex doesn't charge the campaign one red cent.

Love? Please show the campaign some love and donate the equivalent amount of money it would take to purchase that amount of media exposure. Then we won't need the enormous contribution of the Alex Jones bullhorn, right?

Good luck to you.

I can understand some

of what you say but what does that have to do with the Daily Paul?

We post news from all over the world from countless sources only a small amount comes from AJ.

I have friends who say "I don't want to hear that it is too depressing". "We can ignore reality but we cannot ignore it's consequences."

I have found that researching the things I fear, I fear it less because I know we are in deep doo doo and I got my boots on. Much love to you and Good luck.

So did I, but I ended up having to kick myself out. Turns out, I'm an idiot sometimes!

Be Patient With AJ, He has done a remarkable job for the cause of liberty and even Ron Paul Has said That Most of his supporters came from AJ's Listeners..

Don't be afraid my friend..Pray for the restoration of the Republic, Ron Paul, AJ and every America.

Alex Jones is not perfect but he has done more for this movement and Ron Paul than most other media people. I think if the Dr. did not want to associate himself with prisonplanet or Infowars he would not be a regular guest on the AJ show.
We are all entitled to our opinions and I hope you change your mind as the issue is bigger than AJ or even Ron Paul.

You're still invited to the victory party

It'll be ok. You don't have to like Alex Jones to support Ron Paul.
Right now this movement needs both Alex Jones and Tom29.
Don't be afraid.

Would it help to mention that I'm not a big fan of Jones or Infowars either? Usually it's the louder people that are.

No one says you have to post here or read here or anything like that, but I hope you go on supporting Paul on your own independently.

Best of luck to you.

Bye, good luck and all.
