Vote in a Daily Show Poll!

There is a poll asking for a topic for a Correspondents Explain segment.

Let's put "The Two-Party System" over the top. (Current leader is "Tea Party.")

Vote here. (Scroll down.)

The point is, I think The Daily Show would pillory the Republicrats as being basically indistinguishable.

Two-party is now 36

and tea party is now 38. (I voted for two-party, hoping it would shed light on how similar they both really are.)

2 points behind the tea party

bump!

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thanks for the good idea

Exposing the two party fraud can only help.

The farce of the 2-party system. Yes! Good idea.

The Republican Party

The Socialist Party

The Democratic Party

The Tea Party
38%

If "the two party system," is

If "the two party system," is chosen...will Ron Paul even be talked about?

I'd rather have the Tea Party be chosen, because the roots of the Tea Party lead back to Ron Paul.

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

Perhaps

He is the only high-profile pol in either party who opposes the wars, the war on drugs, the patriot act, the tsa, etc. etc. A Daily Show segment on the two party system would ridicule it. The correspondents would earnestly highlight the "differences" between the parties, while Jon mugs and responds.

Have you not seen this on the front page?

"Ron Paul, Godfather of the Tea Party movement."

Let's take a look at the REAL Tea Party.

To hell with the two party system, they've been given enough attention already.
