Breaking the $6 million fundraising record

We will break our $6 million fundraising record.

October 19, 1781 was the day British General Charles Cornwallis surrendered to General George Washington after the Siege of Yorktown, marking the end of the Revolutionary War. September 19, 1777 was the day of the first battle of the Revolutionary War.

The Super PAC, Revolution PAC (www.RevolutionPAC.com) is holding a Superbomb on September 19th, I ...think it would be more than appropriate to hold another Superbomb on October 19th, with the goal of beating our fundraising record of 6 million dollars in one day. If we can get 500,000 people to each donate $20.12, we would raise $10,060,000. Just think if we could get more than 500,000 people to donate and if some of them donated more than $20.12! Who knows how much we could raise!

So, why October 19th (besides it's historical significance)? October 19th is not only an important day in America's history, it is also good planning for the campaign:
1. It is early enough to have the money used efficiently and wisely before the primaries begin in February.
2. It is early enough to not interfere with Christmas spending.
3. It is late enough to give us time to get the word out.
4. We will have a month to replenish our donation stockpile between moneybombs. :)

I hope this will spread like wildfire and that we will break our past record. Post it everyday somewhere, whether on facebook, twitter, in an e-mail to a friend, or in the comment section of a news article or anywhere else you can. We can do it -our numbers have greatly increased since the last campaign and we are very organized when we decide to be!
Thank you and please help spread the word!

Why don't we just focus on September 19th and try to break the record then. The historical significance of the Sep 19 will resonate much more with the media.

The Intolerable Acts

I propose we organize a massive nationwide event, like the Ron Paul Tea Parties of 2007. My suggestion is to form the event around the historical Intolerable Acts which eventually lead to the Continental Congress.

The Intolerable Acts or the Coercive Acts are names used to describe a series of laws passed by the British Parliament in 1774 relating to Britain's colonies in North America. The acts triggered outrage and resistance in the Thirteen Colonies that later became the United States, and were important developments in the growth of the American Revolution.

Four of the acts were issued in direct response to the Boston Tea Party of December 1773; the British Parliament hoped these punitive measures would, by making an example of Massachusetts, reverse the trend of colonial resistance to parliamentary authority that had begun with the 1765 Stamp Act. A fifth act, the Quebec Act, enlarged the boundaries of what was then the Province of Quebec and instituted reforms generally favorable to the French Catholic inhabitants of the region.

Many colonists viewed the acts as an arbitrary violation of their rights, and in 1774 they organized the First Continental Congress to coordinate a protest. As tensions escalated, the American Revolutionary War broke out the following year, eventually leading to the creation of an independent United States of America.

"On April 22, 1774, Prime Minister Lord North defended the program in the House of Commons, saying:

The Americans have tarred and feathered your subjects, plundered your merchants, burnt your ships, denied all obedience to your laws and authority; yet so clement and so long forbearing has our conduct been that it is incumbent on us now to take a different course. Whatever may be the consequences, we must risk something; if we do not, all is over.[2]"

To me, Prime Minister Lord North sounds a lot like Super Congressman John Kerry decrying the Tea Partiers are terrorists and calling on the media to make their voices be ignored.
Let us rally together again like we did in 2007. 5 years ago we were few, but we made our voices heard. Now the movement is growing, faster every day! We need to send a message... What do you think?

Trevor is out of the equation.

He took money from other campaigns and now cannot offer his help for free.
But on the upside, I am actually in a position where I can send some money. That makes me feel good!

Contact Trevor Lyman - see if he'll set it up.

I heard he's laying low this time because some morons got vicious on him. Maybe you can relight the fire in his belly.

Joη's picture

are you referring to this?

"morons got vicious on him?"

"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it." | Up for a game?

Thanks Jon, that clears things up. I don't recall exactly, but

I do remember some hubub and really nasty stuff flying a few months back. As I recall, Lymon had said he was "done" at least with money bombs. I guess I fell victim to reading 3rd hand counts of what went down, rather than look to the source.

I stand corrected.

Hey thats my Birthday! :)

Hey thats my Birthday! :)

Me too!

There's a forgotten American

There's a forgotten American anthem that they sung on that day I could dig up.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

And I say to you

let us do this, let us keep kicking ass!!!!! And you my friend, keep up the great work, so here is a plus one for your motivation.

Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must. like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.-Thomas Paine

The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!
