Background of WND F Michael Maloof highly questionable (hit piece on Ron Paul)

Background on author of hit piece on Ron Paul on WND.

I haven't even bothered to delve into this much. A simply google search shows that F Michael Maloof has at least 4-5 completely different claimed backgrounds and that is just on the first page.

This is highly questionable and unbelievable. Although earlier WND articles make it sound like he might have been a low level CIA anaylyst at one time, no real employee is this sloppy with their background information. This would look like a completely made up pseudonym to me, used at whim, except for one interesting article - again I only looked ONE PAGE deep. So this is completely pathetic that WND doesn't even vet it's writers that much. Stripped of his security clearance and involved in gun running.

WASHINGTON - A veteran Pentagon employee who was a key player in the effort to find links between Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein and al-Qaida has been stripped of his security clearance, according to senior U.S. officials.

The employee, F. Michael Maloof, is associated with a Lebanese-American businessman who is under federal investigation for possible involvement in a gun-running scheme to Liberia, the West African nation embroiled in civil war. The businessman, Imad El Haje, approached Maloof on behalf of Syria to seek help in arranging a communications channel between Syria and the Defense Department.

Maloof was part of a two-man team created at the Pentagon after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to find such links. The team was a predecessor to the Pentagon's controversial Office of Special Plans.

Most intelligence analysts and terrorism specialists vigorously dispute that any operational ties exist between Iraq and al-Qaida. One senior official said no new evidence of active cooperation between them had been found since the United States invaded Iraq. After Maloof's clearances were revoked in December 2001, several individuals

Bump. The dirty tricks

Bump.

The dirty tricks campaign continues. This particular guy, writing for WND now, was involved in the dirtiest trick against our country ever.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

FYI, anyone intersted in 911 should really look at this guy. He's as interesting as the anthrax attacks from the government labs being used to start wars.

He lost his clearance in Dec 2001 after starting what become the office of special plans - of which I particular like this quote: CIA Officer Larry Johnson said: "It's a group of ideologues with pre-determined notions of truth and reality. They take bits of intelligence to support their agenda and ignore anything contrary. They should be eliminated."

Hope someone does some more work. I'm pretty much over researching stuff like this - I did it for years, but the movement is too large to need it anymore.

Looks like he also was in charge of finding WMD's and al-Qaida in Iraq, which never existed. Interesting scandal to be involved in.
