Thanks for being here...I've not met a Huckabee supporter out here in Arizona. Could you please tell me, and maybe all of us, why it is that you support Mr. Huckabee while obviously admiring alot of what we do for Ron Paul?
I am guessing that you are here and watching because you feel as though it is a matter of "technique" or "marketing" in getting support to grow for your candidate as we have done for Ron Paul.
Please consider that it is the potentcy of the message, the integrity of the man, and the absolute frustration with the "status quo" that is fueling our revolution. Not a simple "repackaging" or a "savvy new internet strategy".
Drop by again sometime.... we could discuss international intervention, or sound money policy, or limited government, or personal accountability....or political "pork".......or the place of religion in politics.......or macro economic sustainability............or......
But seriously, I am very honestly interested in your response. You seem to be willing to participate, and I respect that. Thanks in advance.

The MSM is soon to realize two things:
1. They can not create a leader like Huckabee even if they talk about him all day, heap false praises on him and say everyone is supporting him. America is not buying it. Nobody puts credibilty in the MSM. None. People believe the MSM as they do the WWF (wrestling). People watch WWF but that doesn't mean they believe it.
2. And, even if they try to act as if someone does not exist, they can not stop the flow of information over the internet.
People are no longer relying on the weekly almanac, the telegraph, daily paper or television for their news. People watch the TV for entertainment but go to the internet to research, seek and discover truth. That is why so many have found Ron Paul.
Soon the MSM will realize that America and the world has changed and they were left behind.

Wow this site is a piece of work. I did see on the national huck site that the money for the quarter was 4.8 mil. So he has raised a couple huck bucks.

But if this is not apparent that the Muck Huck story is TOTALLY MEDIA DRIVEN..

Remember AT LEAST IN IOWA.. You have to CAUCUS which is to say... SIT THERE FOR TWO OR MORE HOURS EXPLAINING TO OTHERS WHY YOU SUPPORT RON PAUL WITHOUT LETTING THEM CHANGE YOUR MIND...

Well, we can safely say that this can't be one of Huckabee's army glorious moments. How embarrassing. I actually predicted at least 200K. Can't even get 100k? Huh, if money is an indication of support RP is WAYYYYY ahead..
The way I see it . . .
I have always stressed that we were not competing with you guys and that no campaign has or will come close to what you've been able to accomplish. You are on a level all by yourselves. I also believe that everyone underestimates the strength of Dr. Paul's campaign.
When it comes down to comparison Huckabee supporters as a whole are not heavy web-users. I know dozens and dozens of Huckabee supporters and I'm one of the few that spends much time online for politics. They are generally older and less likely to even understand how a "moneybomb" works. You should have seen me trying to explain it to our Meetup Group.
Furthermore, every single moneybomb to date (that I'm aware of) has fallen short of their goal -- even your monster $6 million haul. We started on Dec17th and only had two days of promotion before the Christmas blackout (our website traffic dropped 60% December 19th and then another 60% on December 20th). Most people have little money to spare at this time of year. All-in-all we're happy for anything we get.

Sorry, but that's just not going to cut it. Your man consistently polls in the 20's or 30's according to the MSM. If his support is so strong then where are the donations to back that up? This line you're giving us that all his supporters are little ol' ladies who never learned about the internet is just bullsh!t. If Huckabust was as popular and as good of a candidate and a leader as you say he is then more people would be supporting him and donating whether the polls favored him or not, whether the media pushed him or not, whether the little ol' ladies knew how to use the internet or not. That sound like anyone you know?
If Ron Paul supporters are just a bunch of computer guys running up their credit cards down in the basement and spamming the internet polls then your man should have been able to really rake in the cash today instead of charging for speeches to keep the lights on. Keep telling yourself otherwise if it makes you feel better

Our December 16th money bomb was planned over one month in advance which led to its great success. It gave people plenty of time to save up.
However, it still amazes me that Huckabee has not garnered more monetary support. I have talked to a fair number of people who liked Huckabee, but it does not seem that he is gaining enough support from people who are actually willing to donate to him.
I guess we will find out the real level of support for all of the candidates next Thursday in the one category that is the most important: votes.

Its hard for us to keep our morals up in the face of all the NEGATIVE media we get, so we rejoice in our small victories... It is good that you visit and we appreciate your comments and allow us to *indulge* in our small victories.... we have to take baby steps, one step at a time, to get recognition for Ron Paul...

I'm glad you can come over here and not be bombarded with hate post. I can't say that for the Huckabee army which bans people.
Also, you should know that about 74% (205 million plus) of the US population are internet users, so the fact the Huckabee supporters are not internet uses seems a bit odd. That would mean that Huckabee supporters are only in the less 30% of people on the web.
I personally appreciate you for supporting someone you believe in, and I wish there would be more union among supporters and not all the back and forth hatred.
Would you support RP if Huckabee doesn't win nomination and/or withdraw?

According to RonPaulGraphs (which they actually have displayed on their site -- with the original text below to boot!), they are currently at a little over $80,000. This is way lower than I was thinking they would get. I figured they would get at least a couple hundred thousand with all of Huckabee's new supporters... unless they are just a few kids spamming the national polls. ;-)
I would say this is further proof that the Huckabee surge is more like a Huckabee bubble -- no substance. No other candidate has generated even near the amount of energy in their campaign as Ron Paul.

It is being reported that Elmer Gantry is charging money for speaking engagements to raise funds. They say it is legal but no one has ever tried it before because it could result in a conflict of interest if issues involving this group come across his desk as president. You could buy Mr. Gantry for a few suits when he was governor of Ark. Ed Rollins sent him to the chair with no pardon when he convinced him to go on Meet the Press.

We should focus on showing Huckabee supporters the truth in Dr. Paul's message.
It's easy to get riled up seeing Huckabee play politicain and talk a load of BS coupled with tons of media coverage and get high poll numbers.
If you listen to what Huckabee Supporters say about why they like Huckabee its apparent to me that most of them just need a little dose of the truth about the foundations ouf our country and more so the TRUTH about Ron Paul.
If the media had given Ron Paul the same darling media coverage as Huckabee then I have no doubt that the evangelicals would like Dr. Paul.
Remember above all else the freedom message is about bringing people together.

Sorry if this seems mean. But his idea that he represents all Christians and his associations with Hagee's philosophy is hateful and sickening to me (and not to me alone). This "marketing" approach to religion is exactly
what Christ preached against. How does it save souls? People are individuals and should be treated as such. This is why I believe in religious freedom for ALL, not for some. Some of you may remember how, days after 9/11, there were some Eastern Orthodox folks that were injured (or worse) by some ignorant people who thought they were Muslims. This pitting people against one another because of belief can only bring with it a platform by which greater restrictions can be imposed. We cannot stop people from acting stupid. We can educate and help ensure that we live in

We convinced a strong Huckabee supporter
by just being a listening ear and pointing out Huckabee's record vs. Paul's. I don't like Huckabee's televangelist approach, but I think his supporters are mostly decent people who don't know better. I admit to refering to him as a huckster, Maybe I should repent. It's hard to see Huckabee saying some of the things he does, and seeing people just ignore it and still support him.
